Chapter 138: The shock of all the program inspection teams
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Inside the Longshan Tunnel, urgent honking echoed continuously as car after car came to a sudden halt, drivers honking in discontent.
“What’s the issue here?”
Drivers near the front exited their vehicles, loudly scolding the people blocking the tunnel exit.
Brother Hu and his team, glaring at the middle-aged man who had stepped out, began firing warning shots, their expressions fierce and commanding.
“What’s the problem? Are you blind? Everyone shut up, or be ready to meet your maker.”
“Ah!”
“What are you trying to do?”
The terrified outcry followed as the middle-aged man who had approached was killed.
From the rear, a group of young drivers and their families watched this scene unfold with horror-stricken faces.
Then, at that moment, the rear of the Longshan Tunnel was suddenly rocked by a terrifying explosion. Subsequently, chunks of ‘rock’ completely sealed off the tunnel’s rear exit.
“What’s happening? What’s going on? What are they up to?”
“The tunnel’s rear has been blown up. They’ve actually blown up the back of the tunnel!”
Shouts of alarm continued to rise. Everyone wore faces stricken with fear as they surveyed their surroundings.
Wang Yun’s gaze swept over the area, a slight smile playing on his lips. Very good, it was very realistic. The production team spared no expense this time. The actors played their parts well.

“Wow, what is Big Brother up to? Did they actually block the entire tunnel?”
“Can’t be, right? Are they planning to hold the people inside as hostages by sealing the tunnel? What’s Big Brother’s plan?”
“666! Just after gaining new followers, they’ve gone straight to blowing up a tunnel. Is Big Brother looking to take on the rest of the program inspection teams head-on?”
“Is this for real? What exactly are they planning by blocking off a tunnel? That’s incredibly bold!”
“Big Brother’s crew keeps growing, and so does their audacity, impressive!”
In the livestream, viewers were astonished to see Wang Yun and his team completely blockade the tunnel. Their faces were a mix of shock and awe.
Just after recruiting over seventy followers and taking down two program inspection teams, what grand scheme was he embarking on so openly? Was he intending to face the remaining program inspection teams head-on? Wasn’t that too bold?
“Place all the explosives on top,” Wang Yun commanded loudly to his subordinates inside the tunnel.
“Yes!” Old Song immediately responded, then led the team to install explosives every ten meters along the tunnel. They prepared a total of over a hundred explosives, enough to potentially bring down the entire tunnel upon detonation.
“Go, warn everyone, if anyone dares to get out of their car and cause trouble, kill them immediately,” Wang Yun ordered with a wave of his hand.
“Yes!”
His followers promptly obeyed, moving toward each vehicle.
Wang Yun returned to a nearby vehicle and used a computer to control a drone to fly outside of the tunnel. The drone landed on the rock wall above, offering a clear view of everything outside. Wang Yun then leaned back, smiling as he waited.
At that moment, in the vehicles behind, all those trapped in the tunnel frantically dialed emergency numbers, their faces etched with terror.
“What? Wang Yun hijacked the Longshan Tunnel? The entrance was blown up? Hundreds are trapped inside?”
In the operational offices of diverse program inspection teams, members from different countries were still grappling with the aftermath of the obliteration of two major teams. They were in the midst of probing into the incident at the maximum security prison when they were suddenly overwhelmed by a flurry of emergency calls.
Longshan Tunnel had been blown up by Wang Yun and his subordinates, sealing off the entrance and trapping hundreds inside.
What was Wang Yun planning?
How could he be this crazy?
He was blatantly disregarding them.
“Immediately access the surveillance footage inside Longshan Tunnel to assess the situation,” Wu Mingyu and the other Captains, looking utterly astonished, commanded loudly within the China’s program inspection team office.
“Captain, we’ve got the footage.”
For the program inspection teams, pulling up standard surveillance was a short process. The surveillance video was quickly relayed. Through the footage, they could clearly see everything inside Longshan Tunnel, including several fully armed individuals installing objects on the tunnel walls.
“What’s this? Explosives?” Kolyev, seeing the scene, narrowed his eyes and asked.
“It seems so,” Wu Yaoming confirmed, nodding. “Why are there so many shadows in the tunnel? All armed to the teeth with firearms? There are at least sixty or seventy of them, right? How does he have so many men?”
“He didn’t just go to prison to rescue his few subordinates, did he? Did he recruit more while there?” Ying Yuezi speculated, her voice filled with shock.
“Absolutely,” Kolyev agreed, nodding. “That heavy prison likely housed many high-risk criminals. Wang Yun freeing them would naturally make them inclined to follow him. But isn’t Wang Yun being overly bold now?”
“There’s footage of Wang Yun on the surveillance, meaning he’s in there,” Wu Mingyu observed, his expression turning uncomfortable. “Now he commands up to sixty or seventy followers and has outright blockaded a tunnel. He’s openly challenging us!”
“It’s truly unbelievable that a fugitive has reached this extent,” Wang Yue remarked, shaking his head in resignation.
Previously, it was them pursuing, with Wang Yun on the run. But now, his actions have grown more audacious and terrifying.
This time, he was directly engaging in confrontation.
“Let’s move. Wang Yun has blockaded the entire Longshan Tunnel, and there are so many hostages inside, he surely wants us to go there,” Wu Mingyu declared, rising to his feet. “He wants a standoff with us. It’s unclear what he aims to achieve or what his plans are.”
With a furrowed brow, Wu Yaoming stood and headed outside. The rest followed suit, shaking their heads in disbelief.
“Send all officers to Longshan Tunnel!”
As they exited the program task force’s headquarters, Captains and elite members from various countries’ program inspection teams also made their way outside. Some furrowed their brows in concern, others were visibly shocked, a few displayed a fierce determination, and some had eyes gleaming with a cold intensity.
Above, more than a dozen helicopters took off, quickly heading toward their destination.
All members of the twelve program inspection teams were mobilized, with the ordinary personnel count reaching a staggering thousand. This was undeniably a large-scale operation.
Their speed was swift.
However, inside Longshan Tunnel, Wang Yun and his team were even quicker.
“Boss, all explosives have been planted,” Old Song reported back.
Wang Yun nodded, glancing at the mobile phone in front of him. These explosives were each attached to a phone, sourced from the prison guards. Wang Yun’s explosives bore a striking resemblance to those seen in movies. Simply dialing a number would immediately trigger an explosion.
Wang Yun checked the time, noting the absence of the program inspection teams, and muttered to himself, “They’re a bit slow, I’m starting to get hungry.”
His eyes sparkled with anticipation.
Indeed, he was getting hungry, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the program inspection teams to bring him some food. He had already decided on what he wanted to eat.
