Delayed Transfer

Chapter 441

Sam, Blake, Armina, and Enleed went back to Narcone to continue dungeon diving after lunch. Mark was sure that his friends were addicted, not so much in killing the monsters in the dungeon but in leveling up since the power that came with increasing one’s level did bring one an incomparable rush since you could actually feel it in your very being.

Mark remembered feeling that way when his level was low but he was sure that his friends would mellow down soon since dungeon diving was truly exhausting.

Donald, Robert, and their wives together with Albert also went to Narcone to begin their dungeon dive and he wasn’t worried about them since they actually hired an experienced guide from the circus to join their party. The two rich men were not taking any chances which truly showed their experience but Mark could still see the excitement in everyone's eyes which was understandable since who wouldn’t want to be powerful? They were powerful men already but personal power like magic was something that would truly set them apart from their counterparts on Earth.

The very fact that they would start wielding otherworldly energies that would allow them to heal, defend themselves from threats and not rely on their bodyguards, and possibly use their power to rule others would bring anyone such a high that if something like this was spread on Earth, no could deny that every powerful man in the planet would clamor to be part of it.

Robert even joked that he could start some sort of ultra-secret exclusive club based on magic even if he only knew a few spells like the Illuminati or the Hellfire Club and Mark laughed at the thought of something like that existing on Earth. With that joke, Mark learned that Robert knowing about something from Marvel made him a bit of a nerd as well.

After they were all gone, Mark was about to enter his RV to rest when the three elven sisters arrived.

“Eilintraee, Mentorra, Solinae! How may I help you?” Mark asked, astonished to see the sisters outside of the gaming tent.

“If you’re worried about the gaming tent, you don’t have to. We left someone in charge. We heard from Hamil, Lorendo, and Luzviminda that you invited them to your planet and they purchased a huge amount of items produced by your people. Why didn’t you invite us?” Solinae asked.

“It would be hard for me to explain your presence. It was easier for Nedertu since cosplay is prevalent in our country and everyone would assume that he’s a diehard cosplay fan but you three would be treated differently since you have an otherworldly beauty and presence that would be hard to miss. Not only that, Hamil and the others assisted Donald and Robert that’s why they received the chance to purchase items without limit. Those two friends of mine are extraordinarily wealthy. If you truly want to visit my country, it would be best if you speak with them and their wives since they are the only ones who will have the power and wealth who can easily assist you.”

“I see. Where are they? We do have a lot to offer for trade like spellbooks and other enchanted items,” Mentorra asked.

“They’re currently dungeon diving in the Novice Dungeon in Narcone to increase the level of their profession. You can speak with them when they return but it would probably be tonight.”

“Are all your friends from Earth blessed with a profession? Do you think everyone from your planet would be given a profession?” Solinae asked.

“Luckily, all of them did receive one and I don’t know why all of them did.”

The three elven sisters just nodded and told Mark that they would be back in the evening to speak with Donald and Robert then they left to return to the gaming tents.

When they left, Hamil, Lorendo, Mosalan, and Dozon arrived. Mark invited them to sit at the table in the center of the circle of RVs.

“Gentlemen, how can I help you?”

“We just want to talk to you a bit about the current status of the circus,” Hamil said.

Basically, the circus leaders wanted to keep him in the loop regarding the status of the circus attractions that were provided by him like the cinemas, the Yoda roller coaster, and Computer Gaming tents. They didn’t mention the earnings since that one was supposed to be handled by Milena but they talked to him about the reaction of the citizens of Melona, the possible improvements that could be done and possible attractions that they could set that were copies of the attractions from the Disneyland theme park they recently visited.

Mark just shrugged and told them that they could do whatever they wanted and if they needed him to provide anything that he could, he would do so.

“Mark I need to talk to you about some of us visiting the theme park that Hamil had visited. Hamil told us a lot of things and we can hardly believe them so we need to see and experience them ourselves,” Dozon said.

“I’m sorry guys. I’m currently in negotiations with my government to make sure that my relationship with them remains amicable. That meant that I wouldn’t have the time or the capability to accompany you to visit my planet. The elven sisters would negotiate with Donald and Robert regarding their desire to visit my planet as well since they are the only ones who have the wealth and power to allow them to enter my country without issues. If you want, you can talk with them as well,” Mark suggested.

When they heard that Mark couldn’t help them enter his country illegally so they could check out Disneyland, Mosalan, and Dozon looked down but when they heard his suggestion they began looking around looking for his friends.

“They’re currently in Narcone dungeon diving. They wanted to increase their profession level as soon as possible,” Mark said.

“We’ll return this evening to talk to them,” Mosalan said.

“The three sisters would do the same thing,” Mark said smiling.

After their talk, instead of resting in the RV as he initially planned, Mark decided to visit the bar that sprung out between the circus and the dungeon of Melona. It was said that it was owned by one of the officials in the Melona army. When he reached the tavern, it was surprisingly large and it looked sturdy.

Mark had an inkling that magic was involved in its construction. When he entered the tavern, it looked like one of those taverns in the fantasy settings in DnD franchises that he, Sam, and the others played before. He knew that Sam, Enleed, and Armina would be thrilled to see the tavern. He didn’t know Blake that well yet so he wasn’t sure what Sam’s fiancé’s reaction would be but based on what he had seen which was that the man was also a certified otaku, he would be thrilled as well.

The tavern was full, which was expected since the circus was really popular and its customer base was two cities. He sat on the bar and amusingly ordered a glass of ale. Mark didn’t expect any problems to occur in the tavern since a huge percentage of its customers were soldiers and those soldiers couldn’t afford themselves to completely let themselves go due to the officers among them.
