As Tsunade shifted her gaze, her focus settled squarely on Fujiwara Tetsuya. She was curious to see how this cocky kid planned to break through the supposedly impenetrable "Rotation."

"Fujiwara Tetsuya! How dare you insult the Hyuga Clan!" Hyuga Momaru's voice trembled with rage.

"I'm going to kill you!"

The burning fury completely clouded Momaru's judgment. Under Tetsuya's relentless taunts, he finally snapped. The moment his "Rotation" faltered, Momaru charged straight at Tetsuya.

"Eight Trigrams: Sixty-Four Palms!"

"That was too easy." Tetsuya's lips curled into a smirk as Momaru came at him, hands raised. "Hyuga Momaru, you're even more naive than I thought."

In a flash, Tetsuya vanished, reappearing behind Momaru, well outside the range of his Gentle Fist technique. This fight... is a joke. He couldn't help but scoff.

To win a battle, breaking the mind is more important than breaking the body. Tetsuya recalled the old saying. The ancients were right.

"Water Release: Water Severing Wave!"

A high-pressure stream of water burst forth, crashing into Momaru with enough force to send him flying several meters before he smashed into a shattered boulder, severely wounded.

At the last second, Tetsuya pulled back his attack.

After all, Hyuga Momaru was still a Konoha shinobi, a member of the branch family of the Hyuga Clan, no less. There was no deep grudge between them, no life-and-death feud to settle.

A flashy victory was more than enough.

"It looks like I win," Tetsuya said calmly, walking over to where Momaru lay. His footsteps were slow, deliberate. As he passed by the fallen Hyuga, he didn't even spare him another glance. He continued walking toward the exit, his small blade sheathed at his side.

The battle's over. And with the severity of Momaru's injuries, he wouldn't be getting back up anytime soon. A few weeks in the hospital at best.

"Momaru... he actually lost!" A collective murmur rippled through the Hyuga elders watching the scene unfold. Their faces darkened even further as Tsunade officially announced the winner.

Another loss.

After the fall of the Senju, the Hyuga Clan had walked a similar path, and this loss further proved it. Their only representative who made it to the quarterfinals was now eliminated before reaching the final four.

"Raise your heads!" One of the elders barked, trying to lift the spirits of his companions. "This is only a temporary setback! Don't forget, we still have Hiashi and Hizashi!"

Hiashi and Hizashi—the twin stars of the Hyuga Clan. Even before joining the Academy, they had already demonstrated talents far surpassing their peers. At only fourteen years old, both had reached the level of elite chunin. It was only a matter of time before they became jonin.

"Right! We still have Hiashi and Hizashi!" The elders nodded, trying to reassure themselves. "Momaru's loss means nothing in the grand scheme of things."

With renewed determination, the elders focused on the future. They still had hope.

Just as predicted by Hiruzen Sarutobi and Orochimaru the day before, there were no surprises in the results. The final four contestants emerged as expected: Ay from the Cloud Village, Uchiha Mikoto, Rasa from the Sand Village, and Fujiwara Tetsuya.

---

With the final four decided, the excitement surrounding the Chunin Exams only grew more intense. More and more people poured into Konoha, drawn by the thrill of the upcoming matches.

A genius from Cloud, a prodigy from the Uchiha, the up-and-coming star of a forgotten clan, and a master of magnet release from the Sand. These were the four strongest genin of their generation.

Win or lose, their names were now etched into history.

"Tetsuya! Mikoto!" A voice called from the entrance of the arena.

"Good luck, both of you! Don't let those two punks from Cloud and Sand beat you!" Yuhi Shin shouted, his usual carefree attitude replaced with an air of expectation.

Despite his worries, Shin couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Tetsuya and Mikoto had both exceeded his expectations by making it this far.

But now, at this critical juncture, his heart couldn't stop racing. Could they do it? Could they actually make it to the final?

"Yuhi-sensei! Have a little more faith in us," Tetsuya called back with a confident grin. "Ay and Rasa may be strong, but Mikoto and I are no pushovers either!"

He stood tall, the morning sun casting a warm glow over his figure. Behind him, Mikoto's slender form stood poised, silent but determined.

The semi-finals were set. It was a battle of geniuses, and it was about to begin.

Just as Tetsuya had anticipated, he and Mikoto didn't end up fighting each other. His opponent was Rasa, while Mikoto was paired up against Ay.

"Uchiha Mikoto, Ay! Step forward!" Tsunade's voice rang out across the arena.

"Mikoto, you've got this! Take down that Cloud guy!" Shin cheered, his excitement barely contained.

"Go, Mikoto! Make it to the finals!" More voices joined in, the entire arena seemingly rooting for the Uchiha girl. As the only female ninja in the final four, and with her adorable, striking appearance, Mikoto had quickly become a crowd favorite.

When Tsunade announced the start of the match, the cheers reached a deafening level, echoing throughout the stadium.

"Uchiha... let's see if you're stronger than the last Uchiha I fought." Ay muttered under his breath, his eyes narrowing as he stared at Mikoto.

The battle for the final four had officially begun, and all eyes were on these rising stars.
