Not a Grimoire

Dear diary,

I've successfully made my first ever portal! I'm a genius!

It's stable and leads to the forest which isn't that far but still! Portal! Teleport! woohoo!

I tested it myself and ended up playing with the little people for a long time. The portal didn't disappear immediately after I used it because it's a reusable stable portal powered by the world's natural mana vents. Even Gerry was impressed! He's given me permission to start experimenting with long range teleports with Derins help.

I was expecting Derin to sulk a little but he seems okay with the idea. He even reached out to me first.

Tomorrow I'm going to learn how to close a portal without setting off a massive mana explosion. So for now the portals just going to stay open.
