Chapter 181: Script Shield Communication

However, he has loose control of the red shield since it was no longer red but crystalline.

The cloak's silver moon stripes on the other hand were absorbing so much reflected light till they became inactive. Now there were hundreds of stripes but moments later, the cloak became completely white.

The only saving grace was that it served as an evolution trigger just like when the cloak first drank the blood of an adult dragon and graded it up.

That kept him safe, but for how long, he doesn't know.

Something strange happened after that, as all the surrounding earth became white and most were crystals, the moonlight just flowed and behaved like smoke, unlike a light. It turned a corner and went directly at Seth.

Thankfully, the largest open path was blocked by the glass shield, and the shield absorbed it all.

The yellow shield then vibrated.

[Script Shield Energy saturated]

[Script shield sending energy]

When it was saturated it felt as if it was about to explode and Seth's heart clenched in tension. Then the sending energy made all the energy vanish and some kind of connection happened that seeped the energy to zero.

However, as the energy was being absorbed it was being sent.

Seth wasn't optimistic about the new situation, he knew for sure the moon was here for him and there was nothing he could do but hide as long as he could.

Thinking that way he remembered that he still has +1 luck.

"Was that the reason I'm still alive?"

Seth presumed and also speculated about him getting lost in finding the fire dragon's location but met with Zambia and the rest of the group and they end up giving him this script shield that can absorb energy.

"Luck is extremely important. If I survive this I need to find that old man!" Seth vowed, then he looked at the torrent of smoky light bashing the shield. That side was already too bright for him to see due to all that was slamming at his shield.

His attention turned to the normal shield and found that the same thing was happening, under his gaze as it absorbed too much smoky light, it vanished. And when the crystalline liquid shield, which was a red shield, absorbed too much light too, it vanished. Right at the light was about to slam at him, his womb came out with a halo and blocked it.

It blocked the whole light and Seth sighed in relief.

[Maximum Energy Transfer Achieved. Surplus being stored]

"What the fuck?"

The script was transmitting energy at maximum now but there were too many surpluses that couldn't be sent and had to be stored to keep the sending in optimum condition.

What Seth was afraid of immediately took over just a few seconds later.

[Script shield energy saturated]

CRACK!

"Oh, God!"

Seth checked his luck finding that there were still 20 minutes, he calmed down as he knew there must be something that can help him survive. It has to be. He will not die with luck still active.

"Right?"

Seth stared at the cracking shield with trepidation. And yes, something happened

[Communication Establishment]

<Haha. Seth, you are amazing, all this energy, you must have trapped a dragon to spit fire at you>

The energy stored reduced as the voice came in.

<Speak fast, long-distance Script Shield communication consumes too much energy. What is it that you want to ask>

Seth teared up as he said, "If that was the case let's talk for eternity. Haha. You are still alive, that's great, why did you give me the shield, you know it was amazing and life-saving!"

<Hey, it consumes energy. Let's talk simple things….>

"Fuck you! I said let's talk for eternity to consume all this endless energy, okay. I'm in the middle of saving my stupid ass from an eternal endless energy attack. I'm not joking"

<Oh. You must be above the ground. Idiots. Find a way to go at least 2 meters underground and you will be safe. And besides, the shield will hold up, unless you are up in the sky>

"Whatever. So, how did you get a shield?"

<It was one of the amazing inventions in Yellow city and after some questing, I got it. And because my main ability was to replicate tangible items like that shield, I now no longer need it because I mastered it.>

"That means you will soon be able to replicate that arrow and you will no longer need it?"

<Yep. I have already done that. It was easy because the shield was more complicated, so this one was easier and with the abundance of energy you are sending to me, I was now even improving it.>

"Good. Keep doing that. By the way, where does Yellow city reside"

<You want to invade us?>

"NO"

<Stop asking. Our chief doesn't like that. I have a question for you, what kind of life-saving skill do you have that can go against dragon breath>

"What do you mean"

<I saw you died by dragon breath but then you came back to life>

"It's something called Bubble Escape! Pretty handy against small dragons!"

<HMM>

"Samsi, I think the shield is getting saturated again. Can't you absorb the energy more!" Seth said in a panic.

<No really, what are you up against? How come you are still panicking?>

"This is Gawee. Do I need to explain"

<No. Let me think of something but I want to warn you about someone.>

"Who?"

<Well. Don't tell him it was me, please. Zambia. He lures the dragon toward you and stops by your side when he froze time in Yellow City. I know Dragon breath is dangerous, my sister died from it, literal death. It was bizarre that I can't remember after logging out but every time I'm in the game I can infer the reason for her death>

Seth was silent for some time.

<My advice is, try to avoid him. I don't know what he was thinking but he knew above all that it was dangerous. I was even surprised he gave you the shield, with his ability he could have taken it for himself.>

"Well, that's scary. Thankfully I have Bubble Escape. However, Samsi, I didn't believe what you just said, don't cut off the energy, please. Here is my query. How the hell will you know if the time was frozen?"

<Well, Yellow City Simulation is my playground. You are the players while I'm one of the judges that make sure you get your reward>

"That simulated chief is petty, he destroyed my reward that the farmers gave me!"

<Haha. That's true. So, whatever happened to you, guess I'm not affected. I see everything as long as I watch it. That's how I know. You know what I know is that anything related to dragons is real, that dragon is real and can't be simulated, dying by his hand means true death.

That's why I was afraid for you!>

"The shield. Samsi. The shield. I'm going to die if it explodes!"

There was silence, and that made Seth check his luck there were still 14 minutes. He knew he couldn't die just yet.

<I will give you something in exchange for information. The shield can't take a dragon breath attack but can take normal elemental attacks. This isn't normal elemental breath, that can only mean you are against the moon. But, my shield is strong enough to take that energy without saturation, except if it wasn't the normal moon attack but something else. Tell me what it is, what are you up against!"

"Fuck you. Can't you help me? I will die while I explained"

<Just tell me what you are up against. That will give me a reason to convince my chief to some help>

Seth linger as he saw the shield was now bright yellow and emitting heat but the yellow was becoming white as it can no longer convert the energy.

"It's the moon. I'm up against the moon!" Seth said with trepidation.

<You fucking monster, you are the one that triggers all this shit. How the fuck are you still alive against this chaos!"

"Said the fucking yellow piss that is benefiting from this!"

<Haha. Where is the Chief Yellow Core? You can use the energy stored and enhance the shield. Also, the belt puts on the shield, I will send you a repair energy. Let's do that before I contact the chief. Your secret, stay with me, friend.

That is if my brother didn't die b this chaos>

"Fuck you!"

Seth quickly thought of the Chief core, and with ease, the Worm that swallowed it drilled back to his hand and it floated above his hand. It was empty with no yellow inside but there was mesmerizing sparkling water inside. Seth forgot his worry by just looking at it.

"The core has touched First Might. Is this a hint of the first might? How magical!"
