ALL NOVEL Not In The Story
“Fueeehhhhhhh!?” A certain rabbit’s head turned bright red. She stared at Tomoya in a daze. She did not seem to understand the words that came out of the fox girl’s mouth.
Yue walked over and patted Shea’s head, and said: “Don’t worry, Tomo is amazing in many ways.”
Shea looked up at Yue and was very confused by her words. She was about to say something when her ears suddenly twitched. “Something is coming! Run!”
“Hmm? Run from what?” Tomoya looked around, but she did not sense anything dangerous nearby. Everything around here looked more like a forest animal back on Earth to her. They may attack, but they could be easily killed at the same time.
*Boom!*
The ground shook as a large rock smashed into the ground. Followed by another and then another. Tomoya looked up at the sky and saw a series of meteors all falling towards them. “What the fuck!?”
“Why are you just standing there? Run!” Shea stood up and grabbed Yue’s and Tomoya’s hands, and began running while pulling them along.
“This is bad! This is bad! Really bad!” Shea kept repeating the same thing over and over. She only ever had one major vision in her life, and that was the vision of these two. While the genders seem wrong on one of them, it was still two people whom she met here. The problem now was she also just witnessed something she never expected to ever witness. A world covered in invaders from another world, both plant and insect-type monsters that were killing everything in sight. Normally, this kind of thing would not be a problem unless it was in one of the great labyrinths, but these monsters could block both physical and magic attacks!
“Roar!” A large monster suddenly appeared in front of Shea, making her skid to a stop, which caused the two people behind her to crash into her.
“Why now!?” Shea cried out, but before she could complain more, a root suddenly sprang up from the ground and stabbed into the monster that had just appeared. The monster’s body quickly began to shrivel up before turning into a dried-out husk. As if the monster was not enough, it shot toward Shea, which caused the rabbit girl to freeze in fear.
“Useless Rabbit, what are you doing!? Move!” Tomoya yanked Shea into her arms. Yue had already jumped on her back so Tomoya could easily escape into the air.
“What the hell is going on? If you just stand there like an idiot, you will die!” Tomoya yelled as she stared at the ground below. She had no idea what was going on! This never happened in the story! But then again, this was not the story but an actual world, so it might not be unheard of if something like this happened. What she feared most, though, was the world resetting!
“Shit…. Yue, it seems we will need to handle this new threat, or else we will end up with a reset.” Tomoya took out her new weapon, which closely resembled something from a final fantasy game. A gunblade.
“Tomo’s new weapon?” Yue asked. She knew Tomoya made a new weapon, but she did not know what it was since Tomoya said she wanted to make it a surprise.
“Mmm! Thanks to my new skills, I was able to make something for both ranged and close combat that was a bit easier to deal with while still keeping the same ability as before.” Tomoya explained as she aimed her gun blade at the root and fired.
“That won’t wor..!” Shea suddenly snapped out of her shocked state and stared in shock when the red beams of light suddenly pierced through the roots, destroying them.
“Hmm? Did you say something?” Tomoya asked.
“No-no….. But those monsters were supposed to be undefeatable…..” Shea muttered the last part at the end.
“I told you, Tomo is amazing in many ways,” Yue replied with a smile as she bit into Tomoya’s neck.
“For now, what is your name? And where is your family?” Tomoya asked as she looked at the rabbit girl who was staring back at her in shock. Shea had so many expressions it was quite entertaining to watch her.
“Ah… Umm… I am Shea Haulia of the Haulia Tribe. My family is that way!” Shea pointed towards the edge of the Reisen Gorg.
“Alright, then, we will head there.” Tomoya tried to ignore the green moss that was suddenly blooming below after she had blasted the roots just now. The green blood, or whatever it was, seemed to be the source of this moss.
Tomoya did not know what was happening or why this world was coming under attack, but she felt that if things started to ruin Ehit’s fun, then he might intervene. She did not want this since it might cause her more trouble in the future. So, in order to not end up with more trouble, she decided to try to deal with things herself while still trying to accomplish her main goals in this world. She had no idea what would cause a reset at this time, but if the story started to veer too far from the original, it might just reset without her knowing.
“I really wish I had a save system….” Tomoya whispered softly.
“Umm… I know you are trying to help me and all, and I am grateful, but why is your hand on my butt!?” Shea’s cheeks were bright red. She could feel Tomoya’s hand on her butt, and it was squeezing it gently. It was starting to make her feel strange.
“Tomo is amazing in many ways,” Yue answered Shea’s question with what seemed to suddenly be her new catchphrase.
