Tomoya shook her head. She did not even want to think about such things at this time. She had to deal with the idiot down below. She drew her sword and sent it out in arching paths, stabbing at Fatinia from all directions.

“You dare!?” Fantinia roared as she created a barrier to protect herself. It was just that magic itself was a molecule. The sword’s edge was able to slice through molecules. The barrier she put up was easily bypassed, causing her to widen her eyes in surprise before quickly twisting and turning her body to avoid the blades that were shooting towards her.

“I do dare,” Tomoya replied softly as she began bringing her sword out from the blades that Fatinia had already dodged. But just as she thought, she had the fight under her control. Fatinia suddenly disappeared.

A shiver ran down Tomoya’s spine. She quickly moved to the side to see a small, delicate fist flash past her. But she was unable to block the follow-up kick that slammed into her side, sending her flying towards the ground.

*Boom!*

“Argh!” Tomoya cried out as she slammed into the ground, making a Tomoya-shaped hole in it. Tomoya had no idea when the last time she was slammed this hard. Luckily, her stats were high, and only the pain of the impact affected her. “Fuck this…. I can’t fight this bitch like I do monsters. I have yet to test out Grand High Magic. Let’s see what happens when I drop a few asteroids on top of her head.”

Tomoya hopped to her feet and jumped into the air. Fatinia looked at her with narrowed eyes. She was being very wary of Tomoya after the last few clashes. While they were one-for-one, she still did not know what Tomoya planned to do next, especially with that strange sword of hers.

“Loli Bitch. Let’s see how you handle this. Grand Fall!” Tomoya raised her hand to the sky. A reddish-orange magic circle appeared that covered half the sky. A rumbling sound could be heard coming from the sky. At first, it was faint, but slowly, it became louder and louder. Fatinia stared at the magic circle and squinted her eyes. She tried to read the runes in the magic circle, but she could not make heads or tails of them. But the more she stared, the more her instincts were telling her to run away. But her ego wouldn’t let her do that. She couldn’t run. Not when her enemy was right in front of her. If she tried to run, she might end up skewered in the back by that strange sword.

But as the grey clouds began to move, a strange fiery glow was starting to form behind it. Fatinia realized she really had run. “Are you trying to destroy this world!?” She now understood what this magic was. It was a grand magic spell. One that called down the heavens.

“Then you better stop it, or you will not have a world to return to.” Tomoya was sure she could contain the spell since she also had a grand fortification barrier spell. It was a combination of an aegis barrier and a quantum barrier. It would be able to block even the shock wave from the blast and contain it mid-air with ease. Each time magic upgraded, her mind would be filled with many spells. Grand fall and the barrier spell were two sides of the same coin created together to reduce the effects of the spell.

Fatinia, of course, did not know this. She was not about to let her plans go to ruin due to some crazy fox! She ignored Tomoya and shot into the air, flying towards the massive asteroid that was racing toward the ground. Tomoya grinned as she watched the so-called God of Death try to protect the planet.

Fatinia used all her mana at once and spread her black flames out all around the asteroid. She wanted to melt the lava to reduce the damage. The flames smashed into the asteroid. Causing the asteroid to halt mid-air. Fatinia had no time to even think of Tomoya at this time, so when Tomoya suddenly appeared behind her and stabbed her sword out, she had no chance of protecting herself. The sword sliced through her back and into her heart.

But Tomoya did not pull the sword out right away. If she did, she would end up killing Fatinia immediately. Instead, she pulled the God of Death close before reaching her hand out in front of Fatinia, and with a grin, she said: “Baaakaaa. (AN: Stuuupid. I just like the sound of Baaakaa instead of Stuuupid here.)”

Fatinia watched as a barrier formed around the asteroid. The asteroid smashed into it and exploded on contact, but the explosion never once seeped out of the barrier. After a few minutes, the flames disappeared, and the debris settled to the bottom of the barrier. Tomoya made the barrier disappear, causing the debris to fall to the ground. “Now then, Let me ask you a question. If you die, does that idiot die as well?”

“Of course! His soul is connected to mine. If I die, he dies. If he dies, I can still live. So go ahead. Pull the sword out. Watch your friends fall into despair. Even if I die here today, everyone will blame you for killing your friend. Hahahaaha…. Ouch!” Fatinia was smacked in the head, causing her eyes to water.

“I don’t give a shit if that idiot dies. Even so, I kept you alive so I can torture you for all eternity by forcing you to listen to Miledi praise herself nonstop.”
