“So where should we go first?” Yue asked as they entered the mansion.

“Let’s just go left. In all RPGs, the goto is always left.” Tomoya was speaking from experience.

“R-P-G?” Yue’s eyes glowed with curiosity.

“It stands for role-playing game. Worlds like this are nothing but fantasy in my world.” She could not bring herself to say that this world was created by people in her world. She did not want Yue to think that humans were gods.

“Oh.” Yue nodded. She did not fully understand, but she figured there would be a time when she would learn more. She was in no rush now. She had Tomoya by her side. This was enough.

They went from room to room, finding many different things, but a few rooms could not be opened no matter what they tried. Tomoya knew this, but she did not know exactly which rooms were accessible or not. It was not like she had a map of the building in her mind with doors marked as inaccessible.

When they arrived at the room she had seen in the anime, she knew that she was about to get creation magic. Although she felt like she was already using it since she had already created armor using the skills she had. She just had to infuse her current armor with ore before making it work.

“This is?” Yue looked at the skeleton with pursed lips.

“Oscar Orcus….” Tomoya spoke softly. “I will go check it out.”

“Okay.” Yue nodded and kissed Tomoya’s cheek. “Be careful.”

Tomoya smiled and patted Yue’s head, which caused Yue’s eyes to squint in pleasure. She then walked towards the center of the room and got ready for her memories to be extracted and a new kind of magic to be shoved into her head.

When she reached the center of the magic circle, it lit up almost instantly. “Ugh….” Tomoya felt slightly sick as her mind began to get invaded. She stared at the project of Oscar Orcus in front of her, who had a strange expression on his face. “You have already learned the basics of creation magic and made it your own. To think that there was someone who would be able to use transmutation to merge it with other objects. The books in my library will help you bring your own skills to a whole new level. I am sure you will be able to make a breakthrough and make a skill of your own. But as someone who has completed the labyrinth, I can not let you go unrewarded.”

Oscar’s eyes suddenly lit up, and a beam of light shot from them into Tomoya’s forehead. A flood of information filled her head. Her eyes widened when she saw what it was. “This is uncompleted magic. It was the magic I planned to use to take down Ehit. But sadly….”

Oscar lowered his head and let out a sigh. “This magic allows you to create something from nothing. While it can not do much at this stage, it is still something that will allow you to make small things without issue. Maybe you can even complete the magic for me. This is all I can do for you. But to think…. Our world is nothing but a story.”

“Don’t tell my companion when she comes to learn your magic,” Tomoya replied in a low whisper.

“I won’t….” Hearing Oscar reply caused Tomoya to look up, only to see him smile and place a finger to his lips. He then disappeared. “What the hell was that!?”

Tomoya never heard about the damn projection being able to reply to her! But then again, he was saying a lot of things that did not match the storyline. But it made Tomoya wonder why Hajime never tried what she tried. She could only blame the author for not thinking outside the box.

[Ding!]
[God Skill Acquired: World Creation]
[Allows the user to create objects out of thin air. No resources required.]

“World creation huh? Seems right but bland.” Tomoya chuckled to herself before walking over to Oscar’s body and pulling off his ring. It was needed to get into the locked rooms in the house. As for the final labyrinth, she did not care. She did not plan to stay that long. Her goal was to get her waifus and move on. She did not wish to be caught up in some fight with the gods. However, she did have to do a bit of fighting to get the angel form of Kaori Shirasaki, which would require her to go into the labyrinth hidden in the church.

“Tomo?” Yue gave Tomoya a questioning gaze.

“It’s nothing. You can go, Yue. You will get creation magic.” Tomoya patted Yue’s head, causing her to squint her eyes again in bliss.

When Yue finished getting the creation magic, she frowned slightly. “Not very useful.”

“It may come in handy later on. Try to apply it to your other magics, and maybe you can make something new.” Tomoya wanted Yue to think outside the author’s train of thought. Creation magic was an amazing kind of magic, but it still needed a lot of resources to make the items, but if Yue was able to combine it with her magic, she might be able to make a different kind of spell altogether, empowering her even more than she was now.

“Mmm… I will think about it.” Yue nodded. She felt Tomoya’s words made a lot of sense.

“Now, before we go.” Tomoya walked to the middle of the room and placed her hand on the floor. The floor began to rumble before suddenly turning into a kind of liquid form and spinning around, turning the magic circle into a swirled mess. “Now, no one can get this magic but us.”
