a grand journey: gacha system

Winter Sprites resemble snowballs of various sizes and are extremely easy to kill. It was for that reason many adventurers died on this quest. It wasn't the sprites that killed them but the winter Shogun, a resemblance of old man winter or Jack Frost of this world.

I sigh as the cold air hits my face, shivering and feeling lethargic, fuck dragon blood and cold so not mix, I watch the scene before me. Snow sprites playfully hitting each other and my new Eevee as she tackles them to the ground. I'm using this as a training for her. I wanted to train the slimes but they became sleepy when they came out of my personal world. So they got put back in, really disappointing but oh well. Umbreon 'cream' and zoroark 'Ebony' stand vigilant beside me watching over her.

Ding host has killed 15 sprites in the last ten minutes. Credits earned: 7,500,000.

She's doing well and she has learned Swift already. Taking out more Sprites as time goes on another 50 Sprites were killed.

'So he has' I think returning all my Pokemon as the winds start picking up and a transparent samurai appears. I unsheathe Excalibur to it tsuba and slowly breathe. The Shogun rushes towards me as I use my new breathing style. "Destruction style, first form: punishing draw"

Unsheathing Excalibur in a Iajutsu draw striking the winter Shogun's own katana as a line of pod is sent forth stabbing through him and hitting several sprites , at least 5, and the trees. He slices with his katana as I block it with my scabbard before retaliating by sheathing my blade on his as I say, "Destruction style thirteenth form: severing cataclysm"

Sheathing my blade with a sharp snap destroying his blade and jamming my sheath into his stomach as it is coated with the pod. Being struck and knocked back by my blow the winter Shogun forms another blade as I unsheathe Excalibur again and jumping in the air while saying, "Destruction style, sixth form: hell crest moon"

Sending a cresent blade towards the Shogun but he rolls out of the way as the blade continues eliminating as another 10 sprites and hitting a snowbank. Landing I quickly gaurd myself from his flurry of strikes as I start breathing slowly. I jump back as his sword comes down in an overhead swing, barely missing me, and strikes the ground sending snow upon impact. Rubbing my blade along my fingers I strike again saying,

"Destruction style, second form: calm needles" as I repeatedly jab my katana as he starts blocking his sword chipping and breaking as I finish 13 rapid jabs.

Sheathing the katana until I only have the tsuba exposed and say, "Destruction style, fifth form: eternal nightmare"

Sheathing the sword a illusion of my last attack fueled by the pod attacks him six times. 6x13=78 jabs of pure pod hitting him as his sword breaks after the first three jabs another 75 hit him on his armor destroying it leaving a skeleton like frame exposed with a glowing blue white core where the heart should be.

He rushes for me with another sword made. I raise my sheath and hold it like I'm praying as he stabs me through my heart. " Destruction style, seventh form: haunting prayer" I say as I clap my hands appearing behind him as the one on his blade dissolves into pod particles that lightly land on him. His body starts breaking down as the pod dust start corroding him as I whisper," Destruction style, Fourth form: silent blade."

Plunging my Excalibur's hilt into his back it goes through his core covered in pod as I quickly withdraw the sword causing him to fall over.

Ding host has killed a winter Shogun and another 30 Sprites. Credits earned: 10,015,000,000. Ding sprites and winter Shogun will appear in the natural dungeon.

Ding host has gained skill: Blizzard shroud: Blizzard shroud is a defensive AOE type skill that prevents escaping enemies as they try to. They'll be frozen solid. Prevents teleportation circles from forming.

I sigh and cough a small amount of blood onto the snow as the breathing style causes me some harm right now.

I absolutely love the style and want to incorporate different anime sword styles into the breathing style. Thirteen forms are what is the base of the style.

Destruction Style, First form: Punishing draw: an Iajutsu quick draw technique that infuses the blade with the pod and upon successfully blocking or striking causes the energy to be released.

Destruction Style, Second form: Calm needles: a rapid jabbing move that strikes the target thirteen times with the blade in fusing needles in flesh that can be remotely detonated upon next strike, or cause pinpoint fractures along armors and blades destroying their integrity

Destruction Style, Third form: fury current: a rushed draw that looks like a bolt of pod as the user coats the blade in pod rushing the enemy for a piercing attack.

Destruction Style, Fourth form: Silent blade: a hilt thrust attack that can cleave through armor if struck from behind.

Destruction Style, Fifth form: Eternal nightmare: creates an illusion that repeats the previous form used six times at a sixth of the power used.

Destruction Style,Sixth form: Hell crest moon: an energy based slashing attack that sends a single energy blade of pod at the enemy and targets

Destruction Style, Seventh form: Haunting prayer: a form that looks like a prayer but is actually an illusion made of pod. When struck by the enemy the illusion breaks sending small particles of pod that latches on the attacker eating away at them.

Destruction Style, Eighth form: Corrosive wave: a multiple slash attack that when striking the enemy or objects around leaves a pool of liquid pod that cause harm to the environment or enemy for a brief period of time.

Destruction Style, Ninth form: Inugami's bite: a pincer like attack taking on the form of a Inugami's head biting down on the enemy.

Destruction Style, Tenth form: shadow strike: this attack is a fient slash followed up by the sheath, it's used for keeping enemies off balanced

Destruction Style, Eleventh form: Coffin nail an attack that resembles a thrust into the enemy stamping the hilt driving the blade further into the enemy

Destruction Style, Twelfth form: full moon: an attack that's a waltz like dance meant as a means to deflect projectiles back at the enemies

Destruction Style, Thirteenth form: Severing cataclysm: a sheathing move that if timed right catches the enemies blade and destroys it as the sheath is then jabbed into the enemy sending a line of pod through them.

The sprites continue playing as I just put about twenty into my inventory gaining another 15,000,000 credits before leaving back for Axel.
