a grand journey: gacha system

Walking through Axel in the dead of night is almost therapeutic in a sense. Quite night with fresh snow on the ground, it's only glaring downside is I'm in a graveyard with Helena and a new friend , but no it's even more concerning when were being attacked by a monster that someone summoned to deal with us.

Let's go back a bit then before the shit storm struck.

Helena and I were walking towards the churches graveyard as she heard about the soul not moving on from death herself and issued a chore for her. Especially after souls started to vanish in this particular graveyard at a new moon. As we entered the graveyard Helena started using the resurrection stone's power and started sending the souls to the afterlife. As she starts doing this a woman walks into the graveyard.

Lovely and well-endowed the woman looks to be in her early 20s with fair skin and a curvaceous figure. She has brown eyes and wavy brown hair reaching down to the front of her shoulders, further behind her back and slightly curling at the tips. With a fringe over her right eye and possessing a single ahoge that arcs off the top of her head.Her clothes color theme is purple. Wearing a light purple long dress under a dark purple hooded gambeson robe with golden props, and dark-purple boots. Over her robe, are golden cross brooch with bat wings.

She walks on up to Helena in a trance like state and bows to Helena. She thanks her and says her name is wiz a lich. Helena listens to her story and laughs at Beldia. "Beldia is dead my fiancee took him out easily," she says pointing at me as I wave at her. She bows to me thanking me then starts helping Helena with the wayward souls.

As the night drags on and they start wrapping up the soul sending. The feeling in the air changes. A sinister chuckle is heard as a man dressed in a full black body suit and makeup walk out from the shadow of a grave.

" So this is who stopped my work," says the man. Helena bristles at him as she looks at these ornate gloves he's wearing," my beautiful work causing the poor families to see that the dead don't matter and all the money can go to good causes like keeping me entertained," he says," but that lich just ruined all of it. No matter lich you'll boost my power and the devil king will make me a general." He laughs diabolicaly as he prepares to use a spell. A crystal prison forms around wiz as she floats in the air as she panicks but soon stops as she starts becoming more and more transparent. I immediately rush towards the old man surprising him as I slice his hands off.

" You imbecile what have you done," he screams as his hands hit the ground. Before the could they start floating and suddenly start glowing. The old man looks scared at the sight as the hands suddenly appear behind him and pierce him. His body convulses raising up into the air as the gloves come out. On each finger is a thick red line leading to the old man's body. Soon out of his body comes a red mist of blood forming a giant oni mask behind him.

'yup I'm fighting night rose from fortnite' I think as the crystal prison around wiz breaks dropping her. I catch her bridal style and say," wow wishes do come true, an angel fell from heaven and landed in my arms."

She blushes as I sit her down and look at the mask. Wiz immediately gasps and and says," puppet Oni, they're a rare monster that almost have nothing written about them." Helena looks at the monster and shouts," Sagittarius heaven arrow."

She launches several arrows at the monster only for it to raise the dead man up piercing him instead. I jump and swing Excalibur saying," destruction Style: hell crest moon." Sending a wave of pod at the mask itself destroying a hand but it soon reforms and swipes at me. I quickly transform Excalibur back into a longsword and shield blocking the hand as I skid across the ground from the force. Wiz prepares a spell but the hands immediately go for her, but are stopped as Helena says," libra: balanced scale shield." A shield appears between the two as the hands hit it a red energy appears off them soaking into the shield then being returned.

Boom!

The hands go flying disintegrating as I swing Excalibur as it glows with both the holy light of the blade as I swing the blade. As the dual energy arc flies from my blade it hits the monster it splits in half then vanish into thin air dropping two gloves into the graveyard dirt. I hesitantly walk up to the gloves and look at the reading the information I received.

Puppeteer's gloves: a set of gloves that can form strings between the user and the 'puppet' can be made from cloth, metal, shadows, blood, or anything your mind sets to.

I pick up the gloves and toss them to Helena as she listens to my explanation. She smiles and activates her sacred gear and absorbed the gloves. As she does two beautiful women come out of the gloves each one wearing a kimono made of shadows and wearing half masks resembling ying and yang. They both bow to Helena before sinking into her shadow as wiz watches.

After explaining everything to wiz about my powers she nods at our explanation and she leaves after she gives us her shop's location. Helena promises to visit and talk business with her. Waving good buy I think of the rest of the time here in Konosuba. After the destroyer I'll just stuff all the devil king's generals into my inventory then just destroy the castle he's in.

Author note: I'm going to do the destroyer quest as the last arc before going back to his home world. And the plan is basically shoving the generals into the inventory and getting rid of the devil king. They probably be forgotten or I will add some to his own army. Vanir is a archduke of hell so he's pretty powerful, Sylvia is a chimera but that also means she has both male and female anatomy. Serena, I believe that's her name, could be added to the concubine harem. Wolbach is definitely in the harem. The slime is probably going to be destroyed. And the devil king's daughter probably the harem I honestly don't know what she looks like and if I can't find anything I'll use a woman from an anime I'm not going to as her looks.
