Chapter 3: The Return of the Sith
{pictures at end comments}
While Leon lay on black sands… he stared into the eyes of the alien creature, as the words for his ship entered his mind! Scared and with his pants soaked, Leon didn't hesitate to say while stuttering:
[Huh… my ship is just outside… I'll take you to it! Just please don't kill me!]
To his words, the alien nodded as he turned off his sabers, and then with a wave of his hand, the darkness in the cave fled… as the light had returned through the door that was shut! Seeing such a scene, the man quickly bowed and said with a cheeky smile:
[this way! Please after you!]
The creature merely nodded again as they made their way out of the cave, but as they left, the alien looked around the old abandoned cave with a depressing nostalgia… he felt the pain of where his mother had died, while he felt the bones of his forefathers calling him… men of renown who died in their last stand against the galactic republic…
As he followed the call, Leon looked at him in confusion as he silently followed after him, it wasn't until they reached the world's surface, that Leon finally understood, and what he saw next sent a shivering cold down his spine!
For he was made to witness a sin against nature! Something that should never be allowed! At least that is how he thought of it… but his thoughts were not important to the alien who was standing in the middle of a forgotten village, that was buried under the black and red sands…
With a bloody teardrop, the alien opened the Holocron and with its opening, came out horrors! Horrors, that caused the ground to quake! To steal away the light of the stars in the sky! And to make the wind so sharp it could render flesh! Those horrors… Those force ghosts rallied together and parted the sands to reveal the village beneath! But what scared Leon the most wasn't the force ghost that looked like hideous birds or the forgotten village… but the amount of bones!
A graveyard unlike any other… one where you could still see the shadows of life in them… it was in this scene that Leon could feel the swilling rage inside the alien creature in front of him… Leon couldn't explain why he could feel such a thing when not even seeing the creature's face, he was only glad that he couldn't!
But while Leon felt the rage, the alien felt only sadness and regret… regret as he looked at the bones of the village children… and sadness at the bones of his elders… and in that sadness, he felt the force around him pity him… and that… that pity is what drove his rage! With that rage… he made his choice!
[Are you so sure about this… the price you will have to pay is not small!] sad a dark voice in the alien mind.
{I've already made the choice!} replied the alien to the voice.
Understanding his resolve, the voice helped him gather the needed energy from the dark side… and channel it into the Holocron… feeling the darkness around him, the alien closed his eyes and entered a meditative position… In that meditative state, he imposed onto the force… to bend it to his will!
And while the Holocron floated in the air, and contorted into many shapes, the alien opened his eyes and said:
{take it! Take all that is needed!}
To his words, the dark side gladly did… they took from him what it wanted! With a scream, the alien creature's eyes glowed a ghostly red as a smoky mist channeled from his body to the Holocron!
Leon could do nothing but hide behind a rock, as he stared at the events unfolding… but while he hid, he watched as four force ghosts out of thousands turned from pure black to a reddish hue... A living hue!
He then saw them gather into the piles of bones that lay there, as black rain poured onto those bones! And then with a burst of light, their former flesh was restored as they pulled themselves out of the ink mud! With red glowing eyes and a body cloaked in feathers, stood four tall alien creatures that took after the first!
As the light faded, the first fell to one knee, and said in exhaustion with sharp eyes that spilled blood from his beak:
{it... It is done… father!}
With a deep breath, the first continued as he looked up at the four mindless puppets with longing:
{I swear... The republic will pay… the Jedis will pay… and most importantly… time… time will pay for all it has done!}
{even if… my kindred sister must be removed…} continued the first with a head twitch as he briefly saw Ahsoka in the libraries of Coruscant.
{dear… Sister, you think I don't know what you did… with your 'time' in the unknown region of space! Hehe…sister… 'time' will always be on my side!}
Now, seeing how exhausted the alien creature was, Leon thought about sneaking his way back to the ship, but the moment he turned to look at it, he felt the eyes of a predator right behind him! He knew instinctively that if he so much as moved an inch without permission he was dead! For a shadow of a bird was right behind him… always watching…
Not daring to move an inch, Leon was forced to wait what felt like hours, as he saw the alien creature begin to sing some weird song through its beak to the four other members of its race. To Leon's ears, it sounds sad… and longing…. With a subtle angry tone just beneath… when his song was over, the alien creature didn't even bother to look in Leon's direction before uttering an order!
{Human! take me to the Huts home world of Varl!}
On Varl a desolate world destroyed by civil war:
As two of the hut council members sat along their table, where they lived in luxury with their beautiful half-naked slaves. Their door suddenly busted open as their Gamorrean guards readied their axes for a fight! But after assessing who it was that came in, the Gamorrean snarled and took a step back allowing the rude intruder to say his piece.
[OH! Great hut elders, the Holocron that master Beldorion left has activated!] said a Twi'lek slave overseer.
[umm… about time! Finally, our opportunity has come! I can now finally return to Tatooine!] said Elder Gardulla Besadii with much enthusiasm.
[patients Gardulla… we must prepare accordingly… we don't want a repeat of what happened to Jabba, to happen to us… remember we will be making a deal with a devil that may put ours and the other four crime syndicates to shame!] replied Elder Marlo
[I know elder Marlo... It's just… sigh, do you believe master Beldorion version will come true… will we have our vengeance against the Jedi?] replied Gardulla
[Gardulla… the Jedis are still mostly extinct and the ones that killed Jabba are already dead! we needn't worry about them… their leader, after all, is just a young girl who is no grand master like the Jedis of old… Powerful she may be… but experienced and wise… she is not… A weakness we can exploit!] replied Elder Marlo with a hardy laugh.
[Ha! You are right Marlo, what can she do… her aside, there is one that may be a problem… though she may be old now for her species, she was well-trained in the old era… she could prove problematic to our cause…] replied Gardulla
[to that I agree sister…but before we do anything to that tigress, we best continue to wait for now… let us wait and hear what our new ally has to offer us first before making an enemy out of her.] replied Marlo
With a nod, Gardulla said while stuffing swamp rats in her gut:
[I'll inform the others… though I'm sure they already know…]
Meanwhile on an old Empire Star destroyer
[Grand admiral… we have received news from the huts…] said a random trooper
[Oh! And what could a fallen crime syndicate have to offer me? If it's not important… ignore it! We must continue our preparation to rebuild the empire!]
[I know, but sir, they say it's important… something about… the Sith…]
Hearing the word Sith… caused the grand admiral to pause for a brief moment, as he thought about the old empire… about his friend in a dark suit…. And how foolish he was for not taking an interest in the Sith and the Jedis when he should have…
[umm… very well… plot the course… let's see what the Sith have to offer me this time!] said Thrawn with great interest.
Meanwhile on the world of Zygerria:
[my king… permission to speak…] said a random consort out of breath.
[you look tried my young consort… why did you run here yourself instead of sending a slave? I'm sure you have plenty of young girls who can make the journey for you…] replied king Molec with a sly smile.
[It is as you say my king, but this matter is of most importance!] replied the consort
[sigh, very well… proceed consort… but please bear in mind… that this matter better be worth my time to hear!] replied the king with sharp annoyed eyes, as he was fed by the grapevine by a skimp of a slave.
[the huts have sent us word of a new Sith! And that they have…]
[Silence! You mongrel! You dare speak of the Sith here!] interrupted the king guard
[calm down my trusty guards… I understand your anger for the Sith and it is rightfully so…] replied the king with a tint of sadness
[my King!] replied the guards
[it's alright… our late queen died because she was weak… nothing more… the weak will always be servitude to the strong… they only did to us what we do to the other lesser races. It is our people way…] replied King Molec with a hint of disdain as he remembered other past grievances.
[now... Continue consort…] replied King Molec
Meanwhile back on Korriban:
As Leon stood there like a shivering child, the first walked up to him and said while placing his hand on his shoulder:
{did you hear what I said…}
But to his words, Leon was unable to move or even speak… he felt like he was drowning in the ocean… As the first one left this hand on his shoulder… it was like his mind was frozen in the deep waters… then when the four moved up to him like puppets, with their horrid appearance…
The man felt death! The cold sensation of death… and through that sensation, it was like Leon had suddenly aged many years… his hair fell, as did his complexion… as his tiny mind uttered the words as a broken man…
[please this way…]
The first simply smiled at the scene, as he knew that the midi-chlorians that made up the man's body, feared him so much that they became unstable… for the man's will was so weak, that he couldn't even give his own life force encouragement.
Scoffing at the man's weakness, the first held back his urge to kill him and walked inside the ship just as Leon asked while watching his words carefully:
[Sir…may this servant be so, bold to ask your name…]
Hearing the question, the first and the four stopped just on the ramp, and with a turn, the first enjoyed the night winds and the swirling black rain for a moment before finally replying:
{Ah! My name… my name… it's been ages… since even I have heard its utterance… My name is 𝅘𝅥𝅮𝅘𝅥𝅯𝅘𝅥𝅰𝅘𝅥𝅱𝅘𝅥𝅲𝅗𝅥𝅘𝅥𝅮}
[I'm sorry master… but I don't understand...] replied Leon while shaking
{Oh! That right… I forgot of your human limitations… in your tongue my name is Lucifron!} replied the first as he took one last look at his former home.
