Chapter 9: SSS Level Psychic Monster! by Harem-Fan
8:16 pm, On the east-side of Night City, in an abandoned factory...
A pair of plain clothed police officers look around a rusty warehouse, while an old Detective and a beautiful pink haired woman examine a dead body that is missing its heart.
The middle aged man with salt and pepper hair, asked Rain a question, while going through the deceased pockets with gloves on.
"So what do you think, agent Nero? Is this a human doing or a Psychic?"
While Cold Rain was looking closely at the wound, she paused...
[MOTHERFUCKER!] Only Rain can hear this in her heart at the moment... [I-I am a horrible best friend!]
"He truly is an SSS Level Psychic Monster!"
Cold Rain said this quietly, but the Detective heard her words and went pale. The man asked in a panic.
"Oh my God, do we need to call for reinforcements?!"
{Warm: Cold, you need to calm him... He thinks you meant this crime, fufu.}
"No Detective, the SSS Level I am referring to has nothing to do with this case. This is a supernatural killing though. Should be a low ranking D level, and ordinary SWAT can deal with it."
The poor man looks like he got pardoned, because he thought this case was involved with Sandman. So he says.
"Phew! Thanks... I will have my beat officers pull up all surrounding camera feeds and deal with this then. Thanks for coming out this late. Shall I treat you to some coffee?"
Rain's eyes shift to blue and she smiles, and politely says.
"I need to get up early to my other case, so I will pass on the caffeine. Call if more occur, goodbye..."
Then Rain leaves for her car, while looking to the west-side of the large city.
{Cold: He spanned the entire massive city in distance, and with his power in an "uncontrolled" state, the mental energy to let us hear him is equal to Sandman. I must make him my partner.}
"Can we not? Or at least, please give me time to get to know him first? Please? I have never even had a boyfriend. Plus, he has so many troublesome Psychic's around him?"
{Cold: I will give you only 1 month to get close to him, otherwise I will fight you for body control and block you.}
"Ah? W-What?! No, don't do that! Why are you so obsessed with Tim Smith?"
{Cold: He thinks I am his wife from his past life, right? Plus children with the super rare SSS Level is a guaranteed supernatural, and a high level one, just like Dan and Ann.}
Hearing Cold's words, Warm stumbled and tripped on nothing, then she blushed and blurted.
"B-Baby!!!! I-I am not ready for that yet..."
{Cold: Sigh... Warm, without me, you would never get a boyfriend. I will have Tim as my partner, so do not stop me... Understand? With him at our side, we can defeat Sandman as well. He will fight for the mother of his child, I prommis.}
Rain got in the car, and started home...
"Do you think he really likes us, or just his made up version of us?"
{Cold: I am not romantic enough to seduce a man, so I count on you to win his heart. I will do the actual deed for you.}
Then Warm Rain had a wide smile imagining Cold making love, and grins.
"Fufufu, Okay, okay, I will love him and you will do the hard work, I want to see you deal with it, ha-ha!"
{Cold: You underestimate my knowledge, just wait...}

Meanwhile back at the Evergreen home...
"I worked some overtime, and I really need a shower and rest, but we still need to have a birthday cake for little Tim, right? Hi Tim, you may not remember me, but I am Jill Evergreen, and you always call me mom, fufu~!"
While the family of 3 was talking, my brain stopped for a moment to figure out the situation...
Jill at most gave me white-lies. Looking back, her misdirections are all truthful.
Oh wait! I am her lifelong soulmate? Her Charm Power is actually locked on me and not Dan?!
So the pink-light I see in her eyes is actually her power having been used? But the pink-light is not able to be seen by normal humans and psychics?
Let's see, Jill's abilities again are... Psychic Power: Metabolic Recovery (optimized body, health, and fast healing), Charm (1 targeted male, controllable, constant). Psychic Mental Backlash: Jealousy, Son-con, and Forbidden Lover Raising.
The fact she looks and feels like a 23 year old is due to her body, but when I wrote the story, I had no art made of her. Her body also has no scars or signs of birth traces, due to her fast healing. If I look, her love marks on her breast should all be gone as well.
Thankfully her Charm Power is not mind control, or I would be sad, but it is just a power like Empathy growing real feelings and keeping it high. That was why when I held her hands, I felt close to her. I must have been under her Power since the age of 16 or earlier.
It seems Dan can never win Jill's romantic love while I am alive... The controlled part of the power only means she can freely choose who she marks for life, instead of an uncontrolled one that does not let her choose. Hence why in my story, she was basically a widow after I was killed...
Um, wait... Widow?! Why did I feel cold and think of the black dressed woman?! Nah, I am imagining it... right?
The drawbacks are self evident... She wants to be excited for us to be a hidden couple. She is also very jealous of other women, like her daughter. The Son-con thing actually applies to me romantically, and Dan as a doting mother, sigh.
Although many thoughts went through my head, no time really passed, and Jill is looking a bit nervous if I will be mad at her, so because I do actually love her, let me fix this...
I put my beer down, and got up to walk to Jill, and I smiled.
"Sorry to forget you mom, but Dan told me about you. So go and shower, the cake can wait, right?"
I then gave her a casual son to mother hug, and whispered in her ear...
"Don't worry, I still love you the most, talk later."
Then I stepped back to not look too intimate. But to everyone's surprise, she smiled and wiped some happy tears. She choked out some words.
"Do not worry little Tim, we the Evergreen's are going to make new memories for you. Ha, let me go get cleaned up and you kids have fun."
[What is ironic about Jill Evergreen, is I made her age exactly 33 years old because that was how old I was when I wrote the story. I wanted her age to match mine. So she and I are mentally the same age, how ironic?!]
After placing her foot on the first step up the stairs, Jill paused hearing my inner voice, then she smiled as she continued up the steps.

Dan and I broke out a bottle of vodka, with orange juice, cherries, and crushed ice. We will not get too drunk, due to having school in the morning.
Buzz Buzz! I turned off the sound on my smartphone after the locker room thing, and I looked at the text I got...

[Well, this time. Huh? Why is Ann not looking happy with me? I thought we made up?]
Ann across from me looks irritated, due to me talking and drinking with Dan, and kinda excluding her, so I ask really fast.
"Cough, Hey Ann, because it is my birthday, do you want to hang out with me and Dan tonight?"
Dan looks like I am breaking the Bro Code, by inviting his sister into his room, but man, I do not want to sleep with one eye open.
Dan wants to say no, but Ann with a huge smile beats him...
"YES! Man, the new Timmy is the best little brother! You do not mind, right big bro?"
My face goes blank, hearing Loli call me little brother. Ann catching my displeasure says.
"What? You're younger than me, so you are my little brother. You better not be making a short joke in your mind, pervert!"
I blush and think...
[I am pretty sure I showed you I was the Bigger Brother in the locker though, ha-ha!]
"No, I would never make short jokes in my mind, thanks Big Sister."
Ann puckered her lips, unable to point out my thoughts she eavesdropped. (A/N only Jill, Rain, Aisha, Luna, and Ann can hear, but they do not know of each-other, No other side-heroines will ever hear Tim.)
Yes, the few women that hear me can tell they will lose the ability to hear me if they speak about it. My power is trust and love based. Once broken, they will never hear my heart again. This is a feeling each of them have. I find out about this at my high school graduation in the future, when I learn to control my Powers.
Dan, seeing us bicker, sighs, and asks.
"It is fine for tonight Ann, and Tim, how was hanging out with Luna Vandal? What was she really like?"
I give him a complicated look and sigh.
"Sigh, I think that letter was meant for you brother, but for some reason, she focused on me and not you..."
Ann looks out the window, looking innocent, and Dan points at himself in surprise and asks.
"What? Me? I never even talked to her in high school?"
"For 3 whole years, she focused on you, but at the last minute, she found out about me taking pictures of her, and she misunderstood something. Now I have no idea why she is interested?"
Ann adds fuel to the fire and says.
"Maybe she thought big bro was kinda sad, never having a girlfriend, but when she found out you are dumber and sadder, her nurturing instincts wanted to fix you, fufu?"
Dan points to Ann and agrees then reprimands.
"The thing about Luna might be right, but I am offended by the girlfriend's comment. I-I-I am just waiting for the right girl is all. And Tim has never had a girlfriend as well!"
I just glance sideways at Dan declaring I have no girlfriend and think...
[Damn, I just found out I had a long time girlfriend, and you, my friend, think she is a nice woman, sigh...]
"My son, please do not kick Tim while he is down. I believe Tim will find an excellent woman in the future, fufu~!"
Speak of the Devil! Jill came down wearing a sweat suit for comfort. She looks good in blue. She waved to the kitchen and said.
"Let us do the cake, I think Tim needs a wish from his candle. Will he wish for his memories or a girlfriend?!"
The short Loli with her hair in a messy ponytail laughs and declares.
"Nope, Tim needs to wish for a brain to not be stupid anymore, fufu~!"
I held my fist at her and said with fake anger.
"Lucky for you, I do not beat small animals..."
Ann froze looking at my joke, and Dan and Jill tried to hold in their laughter, because I have never teased or threatened Ann in any way shape or form. Then Ann smiled and puffed out her A-cups and said.
"That is right, if you dare lay a hand on me, I will bite you to death, like a cute toy puppy! Geeeer!"
All 4 of us laughed, and had fun... But who knew she felt challenged, and I really got a bite later!
