"Control your breathing, don't let it control you," Heaven said, striking Cai Ling on her back.

He walked around her, nodding his head lightly at all the small amount of flaws in her movements. A large majority of them were already dealt with by his guiding hand. Cai Ling's mastery over the Basic Fan Technique on the other hand, had also risen.

In just two weeks of training, Cai Ling's mastery had risen to the expert realm from the beginner realm. The proficiency in her movements were entirely smoother, her attacks and stability was great.

"Good. You're doing well," he praised her.

He nodded and turned his head, glancing at the herbs to his side. A large majority of the plants had grown really well and they could now be used for his pharmaceutical practice.

Checking the plants, Heaven was glad that they were close to breaking free from the mortal grade. It was to be expected with the special mixture he made, even if that mixture was very low in quality.

Collecting a couple of leaves and portions of the herbs, the practice of his pharmaceutical skills began.

The first medicinal drug he was going to make is the odd pellet that gives him the nutrition and energy for the day.

The Fasting Pellet.

Grabbing the grindstone, Heaven began to grind a few select herbs in his hands and turned them to mush. Once he did so, he grabbed a stalk of another herb he had grabbed earlier.

Squeezing it with his hands, a viscous and sticky clear liquid seeped out of the stalk. It fell down to the medicinal mush before he began to mix the mush and liquid together. Once it was all mixed well, Heaven began to grab small chunks and rolled them up into small balls.

In total, he created over 15 Fasting Pellets.

Each single pellet provides adequate and nourishing nutrition.

With the first pellet complete, Heaven nodded to himself. It was a good pellet, a little lacking because of his lack of proficiency in grinding and rolling, but it was a great result already.

He placed away the grinder and the fasting pellets into small bottles before checking up on Cai Ling.

Seeing that she was doing fine, Heaven sat to the side. He looked at her, earnestly training and moving her body with great purpose. Whenever he looked into her eyes, he could see her burning spirit.

That burning spirit was beautiful.

He continued to help her train for the rest of the day, not forgetting to train his skills as well.

When it was night, Heaven and Cai Ling returned to the relaxation room together. Joining each other, their bare skin rubbing against each other as one chanted under their breath and the other appeared mystical.

The Yin and Yang essences within their respective bodies was changing and growing purer by the second. Heaven's more so, his grasp on the concept of his teachnique was indescribably deep compared to Cai Ling's superficial understanding of her own technique.

The Yang essence within Heaven was scalding hot and filled with a powerful masculine aura.

Compared to his, Cai Ling's was still rather weak, but it was already soft and cold.

The amount of Yin/Yang essence within their bodies was gradually thinning as they continued to purify their essence. Heaven could feel that despite the decrease, from just the purity alone, he could feel his body becoming more vigorous.

Slowly, their reached the breaking point where their essences finally receded back into their own bodies. Heaven was still raring to go, another benefit of high purer Yang essence, whilst Cai Ling needed rest, due to her weaker Yin essence and refining ability of her technique.

Heaven could only hold back, letting his fingers gently caress Cai Ling's smooth skin.

"Ling'er," Heaven suddenly spoke amidst their calm breathing. "Could you teach me how to cultivate?"

Cai Ling lifted her head, looking at Heaven with a confused look on her face. She looked at him with her demonically innocent eyes before lifted her naked body from him.

Pulling a book out of nowhere, the young woman passed it over to Heaven.

Receiving the book, Heaven looked at it carefully.

The book was made of great material and crafted meticulously. His fingers traced the simple words on the book's cover.

'Cultivation Research Notes'

The book an air of age to it, and a smell of flowers to it, deeply ingrained into every portion of it. With a flip of the book's cover, Heaven took notice of the bright words on the first paper, 'Property of Yin Desires' Sect Leader, Jang Jae-Hwa'.

The instant Heaven took notice of this, he was stunned.

Not only did he just find out the name of the sect leader of Yin Desires, but he found out that she did her own research on cultivation!

It was astounding to him, and quickly got to reading the first page. It is completely packed with words, some crossed out and others had words added to them. He read through the first couple of pages and was stunned.

In summary, Jae-Hwa brought up the problem that every cultivator in Paradise is facing. The lack of energy in the air, or as Jae-Hwa phrased it, Qi.

The Qi that existed in Paradise was originally there because of the materials used to forge it. Now, after separated this entire cultivator-made world to a realm far from anything, the Outcast Realm, Paradise has no way of gaining more energy.

The more cultivators appeared and took that energy for their own cultivation, the less there was in Paradise.

This led to the problem of less and less people reaching further realms. Which in turn caused many to remain in the lower realms whilst the other talented and lucky individuals were high in power.

To combat this, Jae-Hwa, and other like minded cultivators, began researching the path of cultivation and its many realms. After many years of research, and stealing the research from others, Jae-Hwa had come up with a cultivation system that allows one to combat those of higher realms.

She does so by increasing the intensity of training and it's basic quality by millions of times.

And more, but that is currently irrelevant as the strongest in Paradise is only in the Nascent Soul realm. On the other hand, Jae-Hwa's new system is a lot more detailed and starts way before the Qi Gathering realm and ends before ever reaching the Golden Core realm.

Rebirth

And those five realms are considered the Mortal Rank, the realms before Qi Gathering. Yet despite the realms ending before the Qi Gathering realm, once one reaches the Rebirth stage, they are already considered as strong as Foundation Establishment cultivators through just their physical bodies.

They don't cultivate any Qi, and the focus is entirely on the body becoming stronger and presenting a powerful body that is more accepting of Qi and capable of retaining it.

And then, there are still many more realms to reach after Rebirth!

Focusing himself on the first five, Heaven began practicing them as soon as he possibly could. The moment he fell asleep and woke up on routine like usual, he went out to train with Cai Ling.

It was early in the morning and the sky still seemed a little dark, only a tinge of light across the horizon as the sun rose to the sky. Whilst Cai Ling practiced the Basic Fan Technique, Heaven began recalling everything about the Body Strengthening realm.

In this realm, one needs to strengthen their bodies to the very limit. Either through medicine, Martial Arts, or through a specialized set of techniques. Much like his Great Body Forging Technique.

But, if what Heaven knows is correct, then his Great Body Forging Technique wasn't made for strengthening. Rather, it was a complete coincidence that it strengthened his body. It was all in the name of course.

The Great Body Forging Technique was made to combat his weak body and terrible control by 'forging' his body into something better. His previous body was like a piece of raw iron that was 'forged' into a 'great body'. In a sense, it's true.

He never experienced a sense of increased hunger when he began practicing his Great Body Forging Technique. Instead, his body was becoming better 'forged', changing his structure into something better. He was able to digest food more efficiently and his senses all increased greatly because of the much better structural build of his body. The cells within his flesh and bones were all better rearranged for an increase in efficiency.

According to Jae-Hwa's notes, strengthening the body causes the body's need for energy and nutrition to rise. If none of this is happening, then one is not doing their strength training correctly.

Once Heaven realized this, he understood that maybe his healing ability had been holding him back all this time. Experiencing hunger or fatigue wasn't too possible with his healing ability, always chalking it up to his tired self after a stringent workout.

Shaking his head, Heaven sat near his herbal field and began to ponder, to create his own strengthening technique. One that will accompany him from his early stages to the end of his life.

He closed his eyes, and at that moment, his golden eyes swirled as he began to create the perfect strengthening technique. The more extreme and powerful one he can create.

He meditated, further studying the words strengthening, body, martial, and techniques. Everything he knew, and everything he was comprehending at that very moment began to grow within his mind.

A mysterious aura burst from his body and it blew in the backyard of Cai Ling's abode and gently struck Cai Ling who was practicing nearby. The moment the fan in her hand swung forward, she seemed to be frozen in place.

Out of all the words Heaven was contemplating on, Martial struck her hard. She seemed to have seen something, but couldn't grasp it at all. Unconsciously, she continued moving her body, performing the Basic Fan Technique, and at that moment, her path seemed cleared.

Like her eyes gained complete clarity as she broke through from the Expert mastery realm and straight into the Master realm in her Basic Fan Technique.

Whilst Cai Ling had broken through in her mastery of the Basic Fan Technique, something weird was happening with Heaven.

Deep within the recesses of his inner self, there was a cluster of millions of stars. Within those millions of stars, existed four that were glowing at this particular moment. If one paid close attention, one could see words over these stars.

Strengthen

Body

Martial

Technique

The exact same words Heaven was currently contemplating.

The sky within his inner-self shook and a massive force fell, flooding these four stars. They shook, a mysterious power covering them and keeping them from being touched by the force. But it was futile.

The force was growing heavier by the second, it's power increasing by magnitudes, finally, scattering the force on the stars. They took in every bit of understanding that Heaven comprehend and they began to morph. Turning into small seeds that contained more might and a mysterious aura.

Those very seeds also began to branch out, affecting other stars that had similar attributes as them, turning them into seeds. The Body Seed affected various stars with titles of limbs and functional properties of the body, such as breathing, sight, eating…

Even the Strengthen Seed branched out to similarly coined terms, Forging, Refine, Pure, Transformation, Temper…

They stopped there, plainly branching out once. Each new seed was as strong as the ones that Heaven was comprehending.

Outside in the real world, Heaven's body shook for a small second before his eyes burst open. A great deal of information was flooding his head, information so valuable and life-changing that pointed Heaven to the road of Absolute.

At that moment, Heaven created a new technique based on the concepts behind his Basic Martial Technique and the unnamed technique he uses with Cai Ling. The concepts merged, and as they did, Heaven infused his new understandings into them before refining their might and idea.

In the end, he created the Myriad Extremities Breathing Technique.
