chapter 27
27 – Today’s lecture is a crime
Today’s lecture is a crime
The Legandia Academy was established on top of the ancient ruins by order of Terracan Shayne Bernies, who conquered the three countries and became the first emperor.
As the academy was created and the village naturally formed accordingly, the first emperor created a planned city centered on the academy.
It was a part that showed how interested and devoted Terakan is to education.
As the first emperor cared about it, of course the empire did everything in its power, and the city of Legandia was created, taking the academy’s name as it is.
Usually when people say Legandia, they mean Academy, so there were often confusion because they couldn’t distinguish between a city and an academy.
Since the districts and roads were clearly divided and the first emperor was interested, the scale itself was large from the beginning, so there was not even a complicated process due to the extension.
Located in the northernmost part of the empire, it is geographically inhospitable, but it was born out of great interest, so currently Legandia is one of the leading cities in the empire where countless people come and go.
Even though it is an empire that subjugated several developed capitals of other countries, the fact that it can be called a leading city shows how hard the officials worked under the order of the first emperor.
Although it is sometimes called the academy’s affiliated city, there were many people in the city and the streets were always crowded.
“Ah- I played well.”
The more people there are, the more shops there are for entertainment. Seiban, an academy academy student, came out to the streets for the first time in a while and enjoyed delicious food, alcohol, and pleasure.
He doesn’t say anything, but Athran next to him is also a little drunk. The group of people who come out saying that sometimes you need to relax is giggling as they stroll the streets.
Athlan, Seivan, and Dallon hang out together at the academy, but they often play together outside. They stood out because all three of them were strong and often did rough things like kicking each other.
That doesn’t mean that no one will argue. It’s not that she’s condescending that she’s an academy academy student, but just seeing Aslan’s ferocious eyes, most people turn their heads and avoid her.
Seiban feels comfortable with Aslan, who is a threat just by his appearance, but he doesn’t dare to say it. If you tell me, I’ll try to kick him in the ass.
“But how strong is lycan?”
Athran, who is smoking a cigarette, and Seiban, who is far away, are chatting and bring up Rai as the subject. As Diana and Seset kept calling him Raikang, his nickname became Raikang before he knew it.
Those who are close to each other call it by nickname, and those who are not close to each other call it raican when talking to each other.
“I’m old enough to be active for a long time, and I don’t think I came because of an injury, so I must have some skills.”
Remembering the words of Rai, who boasted that he was a self-proclaimed top 20 continent, Aslan answered lightly.
Isn’t it a simple lump of bravado? He defeated all the assassins who were said to have numbered in the dozens. According to rumors, it is said that they captured all of them without leaving out a single person.
The academy students who knew how difficult it was to catch all those who made up their minds and fled in all directions talked a lot about Rai’s skills. Some say that the rumors are exaggerated, and some say that he was from the emperor’s guard, but these are all groundless rumors.
“Hey- you seem to know something.”
As perceptive Seiban looked at Aslan and asked, he shook his head.
“I don’t know. I’ve only heard him brag once.”
“Oh- I guess you’re close with Raicang?”
“Why am I close to that human?”
“But even though he has a light personality, he doesn’t boast much about himself. Even if he boasts, he does something strange. He said he burned the statue of the deputy director with it? He’s a really great person.”
When Bright remembers the incident of attacking Rai with her magic, Seiban laughs out loud as he can’t hold back her laughter. Rai is, in a sense, a person worthy of being acknowledged just for angering him, who emphasized dignity and culture.
Although he received help from training, Aslan still doesn’t like his nasty behavior and frowns slightly.
She doesn’t put as much importance on her words and actions as Philia, but Aslan thinks that at least as a knight, she should have confidence and seriousness. Lai, who is a roommate with three three in class, is so hateful.
“What’s wrong? Raikang boasted about something, but you keep your mouth shut?”
“It’s not even in the top 20.”
“That’s at least the level of a knight commander belonging to the military.”
“On the Continent, not in the Empire.”
Seiban, who had been laughing lightly, was at a loss for words at those words. No matter how big the empire is, there are still dozens of countries, large and small, within the continent. Among them, there were dangerous countries that the Empire could contain, and each country had at least one or two strong representatives.
Even if you gather all of them, there will be 20 people, but if Rai’s words are true, I think you have to be within five fingers of the Empire to barely rank as he said.
“Is there such a thing as hypocrisy?”
“That’s what I mean. What do I think of you when you speak confidently with your own mouth?”
Believe it only when you blow it in moderation. After thinking for a while with his mouth shut, Seiban shrugs his shoulders and dismisses him as having not heard, then goes on to another topic.
It’s usually a trivial story about a girl in a class being cute or trying to flirt with her.
As a long conversation goes back and forth, Aslan finishes his cigarette and Seiban looks at the bell tower and says.
“Oh, I have to go home early today. My brother is coming.”
It wasn’t quite the time to call it late at night, but Seiban said he had an appointment and went in. When Dalan also said to enter, the group naturally disbanded.
Asran, who has been moderately drunk with me for the first time in a while, wants to play a little more, but he doesn’t show it on the outside and lets them go.
“Don’t look like a chased puppy. I’ll play with you later.”
“Don’t f*ck, get out of here.”
“Take care of the house, Max! Don’t pee in the garden! No barking!”
Calling Aslan, who raises his middle finger, by a common dog name, Seiban leaves as if running away. When he leaves first, Dallan gives a playful salute without saying a word and heads home, leaving Aslan alone on the street.
Asran smoked another cigarette and leaned against the wall.
I don’t want to go into the house. At home, an instructor and guard sent by the family is waiting with an ax eye.
Just thinking about the face of the instructor who always looks at him with contempt and talks bullsh*t makes Asran sick.
There is nothing to do, but Aslan walks the streets.
As a large planned city, Legandia has a large shopping district and entertainment district, so no one looks at it strangely as it seems endless no matter how much you walk. He could have quarreled with Asran, who was walking around alone with an annoyed expression, but most of the time he just avoided his head when he saw his stern gaze.
Athlan, who has nothing fun and doesn’t want to go home, walks aimlessly and sees people standing in front of a weapon store.
A young girl and a man who appears to be her father are looking at the weapons displayed in front of them. Someone bumps into Aslan’s shoulder as he smiles at the excited-looking girl and his father looking at him happily, imagining becoming a hero in the distant future.
– Took
“Hey, stand there.”
When the man who bumped his shoulders tried to leave without an apology, Asran said with a frown, but the man didn’t mind and continued on his way.
Aslan, annoyed, turns to catch him, someone shouts from behind.
“Please catch him!! He’s a pervert!!”
Athran didn’t even check at the loud noise he heard from behind, but he intuitively realized that the man was that pervert. He was also in a good mood, but with the thought that it was good, someone tries to grab his shoulder when he takes a step to grab the man.
Aslan, who moved reflexively, lowered his stance and grabbed the ankle of the attacker from behind with his hand and lifted it up. The man in the armor rotated halfway and fell to the floor, and Aslan tried to step on the man’s head with his foot, but stopped.
A man’s armor is familiar to the eye. Anyone who had set foot in Legandia at least once would have seen the guard’s armor at the gate.
While Aslan stopped, the guard who rolled on the floor did his part, distorting his face in pain.
“The suspect’s skills are formidable!! Everyone pull out their weapons! Ask for support!”
“……”
It was a great response to report the situation while in shock, but from Aslan’s point of view, I couldn’t understand what he was talking about.
He’s a suspect. Why would he say that while looking at his own face?
“Why am I a suspect!”
When Aslan shouted, the other guards took notice and pointed their spears at him. In the sudden situation, the citizens around them step back with a short scream.
“Pervert? What did you do?”
“I just saw that girl laughing wickedly!”
“Watch out! Back off!”
Asran sees his father holding the girl standing in the weapon store and heading behind the guards with fearful eyes, he raises his hand to cover his face.
A guard holding a spear yells at them not to move, but Athlan, who is distracted, looks around. Seeing him prepare to flee, an experienced guard rounds by his side to block his retreat.
Athran quickly steps back when he sees the guard walking around, wary of him not holding a weapon.
If he had been caught meekly, he would have easily solved the fact that it was a misunderstanding, but he had no experience and chose to run away in embarrassment.
Asran imagines that when he is caught and imprisoned, the instructor at home comes and looks down at him with contempt, and starts running with all his might, saying that such a thing should never happen.
A courageous guard throws his body and tries to catch him, but Aslan easily avoids him and enters the alleyway without looking back.
“Check the suspect’s impression, cropped dark green hair! Tall, sturdy body, ferocious eyes!”
The guards chase after him shouting at his appearance so that everyone can hear.
Although shocked to hear that his eyes are ferocious, Aslan, whose priority is to run away, runs through a dirty back alley and jumps over wooden boxes piled up in his shop.
“That’s it! Pervert!!”
“Go away!!”
A good man with a weapon got in his way, but Asran slashed his jaw with a right hook and ran.
Running down the alleyway to the point where he doesn’t even know where he is, he pauses to catch his breath at the sound of the guards coming from afar.
He doesn’t know why he suddenly got into this situation.
Obviously, the pervert is the man who blew the shoulder bread, but he is being chased after being framed. His false name is also a pervert. I would rather have been accused of being a murderer, but Aslan, who absolutely hates perverts, gritted his teeth and shook his head.
They attacked the guards at first, knocked down the man who blocked them, and the number of guards chasing him increased.
Now they started chasing not just guards, but even advanced soldiers who would be difficult to deal with if they didn’t raise their weapons.
Innumerable soldiers started to move and filled the alley like a spider’s web.
As I was contemplating whether the impatient Aslan was climbing the building wall, I was startled by the presence behind me and took a stance.
– Jeop, Jeop
“……”
“……”
Rai, sitting on the stairs leading to the back door of the store, is staring blankly at Aslan.
Rye ate the bread he was eating, feeling like he was seeing it right in front of him, rather than feeling embarrassed, and an awkward silence hung over the alleyway.
“The pervert suspect’s skills are formidable! More support requested!”
“The military is already preparing! Secure the suspect’s location quickly!”
When he heard the sound of guards talking in the distance, Rai’s gaze turned toward Aslan again.
“You mean… People have things to do and don’t do them…”
“No! No! I’m not a pervert!”
Athlan shouts loudly at Rai, who looks at him with pitiful eyes.
As he roared and went mad, Rai was silent for a moment and casually brushed off the crumbs on his clothes with his fingers.
“A strong negative is…”
“No!!”
Asran shouted again and cut Lai off.
Absolutely not. Being misunderstood as a pervert must be prevented even at the cost of one’s life.
Guards enter the alley as Rai meets his eyes with Aslan, who is glaring at him with eyes that are stronger than ever. It was the words of the person who made a loud noise when he had to hide like a rat.
As soon as the guards saw Aslan, they pushed his spear and screamed.
“Stop there…”
But the guard’s words didn’t follow through.
Behind the fallen guards, Rai comes out with bread in his mouth. He apparently kept looking at the guards, and Aslan, who didn’t even notice when they moved, is amazed at his skills, but more than that, he looks blankly surprised at Rai’s actions for attacking them.
“Why? No.”
Looking at Rai who said casually, spitting out the bread in his mouth, Aslan muttered in awe.
“But… Believe that…?”
“You have to trust me first. It’s an instructor.”
“……”
Athran was confused when he said that he trusted him because he was the most uninstructor-like instructor, but Rai didn’t care about his dazed face and grabbed the guard’s legs and moved them.
“Hey, don’t be idly by, let’s move together.”
“No, that, that. Is that okay?”
“You can’t leave evidence.”
Let’s talk uncharacteristically, Rai says to destroy the evidence as if it were natural. He says that he believes in an uninstructor because he is a lecturer, but he naturally does things that are not like a lecturer.
Athlan, who grabbed the fainting guard by the foot and dragged him to the corner with an awkward movement, comes to his senses belatedly and sees Rai.
“What if I attack the guards?”
“Look at this guy, seeing the kids move, didn’t you already attack him too? Are you Naero Nambul?”
Athran could not answer Rai’s words.
He only sees the actions of the guards and knows what happened. He’s as good as how many times he’s done it.
“What happened?”
Aslan briefly explains what happened just now and complains of injustice.
“Then let’s run away to the academy. It’ll be fine if we stay there for a week or so.”
“Isn’t it clearing up misunderstandings?”
“I even punched you, but will the misunderstanding be easily resolved?”
Unsurprisingly, Aslan could only nod his head. During the conversation, Rai, who had taken off the guard’s armor before he knew it, threw it at him.
“Why is this?”
“I have to escape. It’s been a while. It must be fun.”
Seeing Rai’s smile, confused as to whether this is a lecturer or a criminal, Aslan hesitates and puts on the armor.
