Chapter 5: Dear Diary, I Totally Don’t Have A Crush
March 20; 29 years before The Split
So… it’s been over a year since Rowan and I first met. Today, he invited me to the abandoned school west of the village.
I’ve been getting… weird feelings around him. My heart is racing, I’m blushing and laughing at all his jokes, even unfunny ones…
Is there something wrong with me? He’s the son of Robert. We should be enemies. But then, why do we feel like friends?
Maybe I’m just being weird. He could be different from his father…
Anyways, not to change the subject… but my dreams have been intensifying lately. The voice in them is becoming far more clear, and I’m starting to get a sight of the electricity. I’m seeing 6 different colors.
Yellow, red, green, blue, white, and black electricity.
Im not sure if the colors mean something, and if so, what they might mean. Maybe I’ll ask Rowan?
Also, I decided to try and start helping Rowan with his stuttering problem. It hurts to see him feel so awkward, and I wanna help him.
Oh, wait, it’s almost night. I should probably go soon. Rowan and I are meeting up near midnight, so I’ll have to sneak out of the camp… wish me luck!
Ahh, love. Turns our brains into mush and makes us do things we’d never do otherwise.
