After Dressing Up As a Little Fulang

Chapter 4 - Pet (2)

Upon seeing this, Zang Ke’s heart was moved, and he even smiled, “Are you angry?”

Zang Ya found his father’s behavior strange but didn’t press further. Instead, he asked, “Father, I’m not angry. But why do you want to give me a shuanger?”

Zang Ke observed his son’s rare display of anger and, after admiring it, remarked, “You know, you’re twelve years old now, almost thirteen. In other households, you’d be expected to prepare for engagement.”

Zang Ya gritted his teeth in frustration.

Zang Ke quickly added, “If you don’t want to, I won’t force you. But you should have someone to keep you company.”

Zang Ya retorted immediately, “I don’t need anyone!”

Zang Ke observed his son’s reaction with interest, his hands folded under his chin. “Of course, if you don’t want him around, I can send him away. After all, I want you to be happy. Even if you reject everything I arranged for you, I won’t force you.”

Zang Ya calmed down slightly but couldn’t shake the thought of the new shuanger. He looked troubled.

Zang Ke sensed his son’s change in mood and continued thoughtfully, “But if you do decide to send him away, make sure it’s far away. He won’t survive outside our home, and I won’t have his corpse tarnishing our doorstep.”

Zang Ya looked up at his father, his brows furrowed and eyes darkening. “Why?”

Zang Ke seemed unfazed by his son’s reaction. “Didn’t the housekeeper tell you about his background?”

Zang Ya turned to the housekeeper, who stood silently nearby, almost as if invisible.

The housekeeper stepped forward and explained An Yun’s origins, his current health issues, and the substantial medical expenses required for his survival.

Listening to this, Zang Ya recalled the pale-faced young shuanger he had seen earlier and understood the gravity of his condition. He couldn’t help but feel sympathy, recalling how fragile the rabbit his Xiao Huang hunted down.

Normally unaffected by death, Zang Ya found himself disturbed by the image of the young shuanger turning into a lifeless white corpse.

Zang Ya began to suspect that the new shuanger his father brought home might be a poisoner who had harmed him, explaining his sudden irritability.

Zang Ya’s emotions were written plainly on his face, but Zang Ke seemed pleased by his reaction. Sitting calmly, he made a friendly suggestion, “Perhaps you could keep him and care for him. Just provide for him like a pet, similar to Xiao Huang. It’s not easy to keep Xiao Huang, but this young shuanger will surely be less trouble.”

Looking up at his father’s smiling face, Zang Ya felt conflicted. The new shuanger had appeared frightened earlier. He didn’t like feeling uncomfortable around him, yet he couldn’t bear the thought of his demise.

After struggling inwardly, Zang Ya finally relented to his father’s suggestion. “Fine, let’s keep him for now.”

Anyway, it didn’t take much to raise a pet, and Xiao Huang was very easy to raise.

Zang Ke was actually a little relieved to see him like this. “Okay, you’re back. Go see your mother first, and we’ll have dinner together later.”

After making the decision, Zang Ya’s angry mood disappeared and he became peaceful. Hearing his father’s words, he paused for a moment, then responded gently, turned around, and went out.

Seeing Zang Ya being surrounded by his servants, Zang Ke’s eyes actually showed a bit of relief. He turned to look at the housekeeper next to him and said with a smile, “Look, he was angry just now.”

“Yes, sir, I saw. It was very clear that the young master was angry.” The housekeeper looked at Zang Ke respectfully and replied in a low voice.

Zang Ke didn’t say anything more, but his eyes looked in the direction Zang Ya had left, with a bit of expectation on his face.

.

An Yun originally thought he would be thrown out in the middle of the night, so he had made preparations to find a place to settle down after leaving.

As a result, An Yun took a nap and slept until the next morning. In the end, it was the knocking on the door outside that woke him up.

An Yun got up a little hastily, his head feeling dizzy, and he almost hit the bed board again.

The people outside seemed to have heard the noise and soon opened the door and walked in. Then they saw the shuanger who had woken up. They served him to dress, wash, and eat. Then they brought the doctor to give him acupuncture and gave him medicine.

After taking the bitter-sweet medicine, An Yun realized belatedly that he was still staying here, but he didn’t understand why. Obviously when the young master saw him yesterday, he was very… angry.

An Yun licked his lips, which were moist and bright because he had just drank the medicine. He looked up at the maid in front of him who was clearing away the dishes and chopsticks. He was obviously older than her, and he still shamelessly called out, “Big sister, can I ask you something?”

The maid immediately stopped what she was doing, turned to look at An Yun, waved her hand and said, “Fulang, this, you can’t call me sister. If you want to ask, then ask!”

An Yun looked at her frightened look and did not embarrass her. He just said: “Is the young master planning to keep me? What do I need to do in the future? ”

The maid looked at An Yun, with some confusion on her face, and finally said: “Fulang, I don’t know about this. I am not qualified to know this because of my identity.”

An Yun looked at the true emotion in her eyes. He didn’t ask further questions, just thanked her a few times. After the people left, he started to think about his situation.

After thinking about it, An Yun didn’t want to admit it, but he felt that his value now was to do that kind of thing. Although a man could bend and stretch, the other person was obviously a minor, and his own body was only fifteen years old. He felt that it couldn’t be done.

Since that didn’t work, An Yun felt he had to think of a way to serve the young master. He also had to find a way to avoid doing that kind of thing.
