Chapter 6 - A Guide to Raising Pets (1)
When Song Lin listened to his question; he thought he had heard it wrong. After all, according to Zang Ya’s usual style, he didn’t seem to be raising any kind of delicate and fragile pet that could be killed with one slap. Moreover, he also hadn’t heard if Zang Ya had any sisters.
Song Lin thought about it and felt that the most likely thing was Zang Ya’s mother had a pet. Zang Ya probably asked for his mother, “Is it Mrs. You’s pet?”
Zang Ya was still thinking about how weak that shuanger was. His father also said that he would be his pet, so there should be no deviation in describing him like this. But he heard the voice from Song Lin next to him.
Hearing that Song Lin suspected the pet belonged to his mother, he felt a little unhappy. He pursed his lips and said with a hint of coldness in his tone, “It’s none of my mother’s business, that pet is raised by me.”
Song Lin took a breath first. He felt that Zang Ya, who had always been attracted by large beasts, suddenly had a pet that was so delicate that it could die with a slap. What kind of pet could be so delicate?
However, after realizing that Zang Ya was a little unhappy, Song Lin quickly put away the surprise on his face, then looked at him and considered it: “I have never raised such a pet.”
The moment he finished speaking, Song Lin felt Zang Ya’s dagger-like eyes were on him, as if blaming him for saying such nonsense. If he had known better, he should not have said it earlier.
Song Lin had just finished thinking about it, the person in front of him said as expected: “Since you don’t know, why are talking?!”
Hearing this, Song Lin looked at Zang Ya, who seemed a little angry, and thought to himself, considering Zang Ya’s usual behavior. He immediately added: “However, although I have never raised such a pet, my sister has. I have watched from the sidelines, and I can tell you a thing or two about raising pets.”
Zang Ya looked expressionless, staring at him with narrowed eyes, waiting to hear his next words.
Song Lin knew that Zang Ya didn’t like procrastination, so he hurriedly continued: “It’s not difficult, you just have to be careful. After all, this kind of precious pet is the most delicate on weekdays. When you feed them… It should not be too hot or too cold, it should not be allowed to eat dirty things and have diarrhea, and it should not be fed with hard food. The place where it lives should also be good. It should not be exposed to wind or rain. It must be ventilated, cleaned up in time, and kept warm. Finally, those precious little things are usually fragile and have delicate hearts. They have to be coaxed with gentle words on weekdays, and they cannot be frightened, otherwise, they may die.”
Zang Ya frowned slightly as he listened, as if he didn’t think that raising a pet would be so troublesome.
Song Lin rarely saw him in trouble, so he simply said more,
“Young master, do you know that my sister once had an extremely beautiful bird? Not only did it look like a phoenix, but it also had a unique voice. She was quite doting on it and teased it all day long. One day, someone gave her a cat. The cat had snow-white fur and was particularly cute. My sister naturally fell in love with the cat at first sight. Seeing that my sister had a new favorite, the bird was noisy, she asked her servants to move it from the main corridor to the side corridor. Guess what? In just half a day, the bird died. I met an expert in raising birds, and he told my sister that the bird was angry to death because it was ignored. Do you think this is ridiculous? Even I couldn’t believe it.”
Zang Ya had never thought that raising pets was such a troublesome thing. His Xiao Huang was just thrown into the wild and he gave it food on weekdays.
However, when he thought of the little shuanger’s appearance, he looked fragile and helpless, as if he would fall over if the wind blew. It seemed very normal to need such careful care.
Thinking like this, although Zang Ya felt that he might not be able to do it, he still relaxed his brows because he had found a way to deal with it. He turned to Song Lin next to him and said, “Thank you, I’ve written it down.”
Song Lin’s home was just in the city. Being able to be with Zang Ya, a noble rich man, was a complete coincidence. Even if he was flattering him, he could only say one or two words. Today, it was rare to be able to talk to him so much, let alone Zang Ya saying thank you to him personally.
This made Song Lin a little excited, thinking that this was a good opportunity for him to catch up with Zang Ya, so he continued: “My sister is a loving owner. She has raised many pets. Therefore, even though I have never raised one, I still know a little about these things. If Young Master Zang needs it, just ask me.”
Zang Ya glanced at him but did not immediately answer. After thinking about it, he said: “If the pet I raise is a little weak and I want to keep him alive longer, what should I do?”
Song Lin originally thought Zang Ya would have to raise a very delicate and expensive pet. For him to take so much interest in it must be to the point of spoiling it.
Suddenly, Song Lin was a little curious. What kind of pet did Zang Ya have, and what kind of pet did it have to be to make him behave like this?
However, despite being curious, Song Lin knew his and Zang Ya’s identities and would not forget about propriety.
After all, although Zang Ya was younger than him and behaved erratically, he was not a fool who could be manipulated by others. With Song Lin’s current status, he was still not able to test Zang Ya’s depth and was afraid that he might offend someone accidentally.
