Chapter 125: The World Was Shocked. Overpowered, Overwhelmed, and Outmatched (1)
“Wha…what?!”
“Fuck, fuck, what kind of monstrous strength is this?”
“I’m shocked! This is so hair-raising and eye-opening. What kind of strength is that? He actually lifted a 300-kilogram man so easily?”
“Seriously? Big Brother makes it look so easy as if he’s not even pushing his limits!”
“Could this power… Does this mean if Big Brother entered world weightlifting competitions, might clinch the world championship?”
“This is just too incredible, isn’t it? This power is too terrifying! You can’t even tell Big Brother has this freakish strength just by looking at him!”
Everyone watching the broadcast had an expression full of shock. Wang Yun easily took down Japan’s number one sumo champion. He didn’t even have a chance to fight back. Most astonishingly, Wang Yun effortlessly lifted his 300-pound frame.
“Master Jue Ming’s prediction hit the mark. Big Brother really knows Tai Chi, but what sort of Tai Chi is this? Why is it so formidable?”
“Master Jue Ming recognized Big Brother’s Tai Chi skills and knew he could easily beat the sumo wrestler, but he surely didn’t expect him to lift the wrestler outright, did he?”
“Such strength is unparalleled, it’s got me worried about Big Brother’s future girlfriend!”
“To the person above, there is something not quite right with you!”
Viewers engaged in spirited discussions. Meanwhile, netizens around the globe were gaping at the spectacle before them.
This middle-aged sumo wrestler from Japan was clearly a force to be reckoned with. And yet, what happened? He was thrashed with ease.
“What kind of strength is this?”
Guiye Mita witnessed the scene, his face undergoing a dramatic shift. Watching Wang Yun, a sliver of fear crept into his eyes. Could they, or even his master, stand as rivals against such strength?
Beside him, Captain Dragon Hand from India watched too, his expression laden with gravity. His gaze fixed on Wang Yun, his features flickered with an array of emotions.
“Continue, why don’t you?” Wang Yun taunted, arms wide, his gaze sweeping over them.
He noted their shock and reluctance to engage, his eyes brimming with scorn and mockery. His challenge caused Honei Kouten and the Captain Dragon Hand to grimace. They gripped their weapons tighter, ready for confrontation.
“Ha, I’ve already dealt with one of the inspection teams from the major nations. You’re next,” he jeered, noting their hesitation to advance.
Wang Yun had no interest in a stalemate.
“What happened? You were all too eager in the chase, and now you hesitate?”
With a swift motion, Wang Yun picked up his shield and lunged at the nearest elite of the Indian inspection team, breaking the tense standoff.
“So arrogant. Engage him!” Captain Dragon Hand bellowed, his face darkening with resolve and a cold fury.
At this moment, a battle started.
The elite members of the Indian program inspection team visibly tensed as Wang Yun charged toward them. Their swords slashed through the air, aiming with deadly precision at Wang Yun.
With a deft movement, Wang Yun lifted his shield, thrusting it forward with formidable strength. The overwhelming force caused two of the Indian program officers to stagger back, their eyes widening in shock.
“Surround him! Take him down!” shouted the surrounding Indian program officers, converging on him in a unified assault.
Wang Yun, unfazed by the onslaught, swiftly swung his shield forward. Despite not exerting his full strength, the two Indian program officers at the forefront were caught off guard. The shield struck their legs with such impact that they winced in pain, managing only a bitter smile before collapsing.
Witnessing the sheer force of the blow, it was clear that Wang Yun’s strength could easily cripple them with a direct hit to their legs. They were rendered utterly incapable of fighting back.
At that moment, from ahead, swords lunged at Wang Yun. Unperturbed, he neither changed his expression nor dodged. Instead, he charged forward, relying on his armor to break through.
“Attack!” Captain Dragon Hand bellowed, launching himself at Wang Yun.
Wang Yun remained stoic. He kicked out at several shields before him, using the momentum to retreat. The Captain, sword and shield in hand, advanced swiftly and aimed a heavy blow at Wang Yun’s head. It was a blow so powerful that it could cleave an ordinary man in two.
Wang Yun’s gaze sharpened. He sidestepped, dodging the sword, and closed in on his opponent. Extending his arm, he reached for the Captain Dragon Hand’s arm. Like a serpent, his arm coiled around, latching onto the Captain’s wrist in the blink of an eye, and tightened with a forceful grip.
Captain Dragon Hand felt the force transmitted through his arm and let out a disdainful snort. With a slight twist of his wrist, he evaded the grasp as effortlessly as a serpent slipping away.
“Attempting such bone-crushing techniques against our Indian Yoga Kung Fu is useless,” Captain Dragon Hand declared, his eyes shining with determination.
Abandoning his shield, his left hand struck back, swift and like a snake.
“Haha, very well,” Wang Yun retorted with a cold laugh.
Instantly, he shifted his stance. No forward thrust, no backward lean, no arching, no crouching. His form was perfectly upright. With toes gripping the ground firmly, knees slightly bent, hips relaxed, and waist ready to pivot, his elbows aligned with his knees, prepared to move with the winds from any direction.
At that moment, Wang Yun focused on the incoming palm. The strike was aimed to ensnare and subdue him. His gaze was piercing, his fists like meteors.
Bajiquan: Explode!
Wang Yun’s punch, swift as lightning, made fleeting contact with Captain Dragon Hand’s arm and withdrew.
Yet, in that instant, Captain Dragon Hand’s face underwent a rapid change of expression. The arms and legs of those from the India team lacked any form of defense.
This was because of the yoga martial arts they practiced, which could not be restrained too much. Too much restriction would render their techniques ineffective, but the lack of protection could lead to dire outcomes.
When Wang Yun’s punch landed on his arm, it felt as though it had shattered. The gloves Wang Yun wore were equipped with barbs. According to the rules, this meant the strike effectively rendered the Captain’s arm useless, causing his complexion to undergo a dramatic shift. He hurriedly moved his sword-bearing right hand to mount a defense. However, Wang Yun didn’t pause, closing the distance once again. His fists pummeled the chest of the Indian Captain with the ferocity of a downpour.
Dozens of punches landed in a single second. Despite his defenses, Captain Dragon Hand was rocked to his core, his entire body convulsing with discomfort.
“Stop!”
“Attack!”
To the side, the Indian program inspectors, witnessing their captain being overwhelmed, showed expressions of shock and fury. They launched a collective assault.
With a swift adjustment of his right foot, the shield jumped into Wang Yun’s hand.
He deflected each assault with effortless grace.
In a swift move, Wang Yun kicked off Captain Dragon Hand’s torso, propelling himself back three meters. He landed gracefully, a slight smile playing on his lips.
“Is this the best you can do? Without formidable armor, you’re even less impressive than the Thai team,” Wang Yun said as he fixed them with a look of mild disappointment, shaking his head.
The Indian inspection team was only partially armored, with some protective gear covering their chests. Beyond that, they had no protection. To Wang Yun, they seemed like easy targets.
Captain Dragon Hand was in a dire state, coughing violently. His arm, having borne the brunt of Wang Yun’s attack, shook uncontrollably. He looked up at Wang Yun, his eyes wide with a mix of fear and disbelief. Struck by Wang Yun’s words, he found himself at a loss for a comeback, his expression fluctuating wildly.
“Arrogant!”
The remark struck a nerve with the entire Indian inspection team, rendering their faces a picture of embarrassment. They glared at Wang Yun, their eyes seething with a crimson rage.
“Facing you all single-handedly gives me every right to be bold,” Wang Yun said, clutching his shield.
He fixed them with an icy glare, his front foot ready to advance.
“Retreat, let’s fall back. Fall back!”
To Wang Yun’s surprise, Captain Dragon Hand suddenly called for a retreat, darting toward the staircase. His subordinates didn’t hesitate for a moment, swiftly rallying behind him. Their discipline was impeccably strong.
They slipped away. This abrupt turn of events left everyone utterly astonished.
“The Indian inspection team has been beaten. Wang Yun’s technique was Bajiquan. There’s a saying, ‘Tai Chi brings peace to the world, Bajiquan commands respect between heaven and earth.’ Bajiquan’s speed, ferocity, ruthlessness, and power pose a formidable counter to Indian yoga kung fu. It’s astounding that Wang Yun has mastered Bajiquan to such an extent. Truly remarkable, his prowess far surpasses my own. Now that the team from India realized they stand no chance against Wang Yun without appropriate gear, continuing the fight would only lead to their defeat. Retreating is clearly their best option,” Master Jue Ming said, observing this unfold, his face etched with astonishment.
As the members of the Indian inspection team beat a hasty retreat, a path was quickly cleared for them.
***
“What just happened???”
“Seriously??”
At that moment, viewers around the globe were left dumbfounded.
What was going on? They were fighting and then just ran off? Wang Yun had only knocked down a handful of them before they decided to run away?
“Can you believe it? The Indian inspection team actually got chased off?”
“How terrified must they be of Big Brother to stop fighting and just bolt? Damn, they’ve thrown all their pride out the window!”
“Master Jue Ming mentioned that Big Brother was using Bajiquan. His moves were incredibly fast. Just listening to the sound of those hits, you could tell it was terrifying!”
“Is Big Brother the strongest in the world?”
“666! First, the Thai team was thoroughly defeated, and now the Indian team was driven away. Seriously, who’s arresting whom here?”
“Wasn’t Captain Dragon Hand just boasting about taking down Big Brother? What happened to that bravado? Why the sudden retreat?”
“The person above is feigning ignorance, aren’t they? Big Brother’s few moves had him completely overwhelmed. It’s clear he was dominated. Any more of that, and he’d be scared into wetting himself!”
In the livestream, the netizens were whipped into a frenzy, watching with their jaws dropped. They shouted in disbelief as yet another inspection team was routed and forced to flee. In this scene, it looked as though Big Brother was the real inspector, and they were the fugitives on the run.
“Let’s go!”
Over at the Japanese team, Captain Mita’s master witnessed this turn of events, his expression undergoing a dramatic shift. With a low growl, he turned to make his exit.
“Master,” Captain Mita said and hesitated, standing nearby.
Falling silent, he quickly followed suit.
