Aries: Tale of the octagon

Chapter 10: CHAPTER 10

"Please leave me alone" I yelled with tears swelling in my eyes. I tried screaming for help once again but it was useless. My voice kept getting cancelled by some mysterious force everytime I yelled for help! I got up with fear, running into nowhere, a void dark empty space. I was so lonely and desperate. But 'he' was still coming...

"Beep beep beep". I wake up in relief, happy that the alarm helped me get out of that dark nightmare. The more it occurred, the more fed up I became. Who was that guy always chasing me? Why does he sound like Nex? All these questions, I was getting tired. I didn't even know if I was doing the right thing by trusting Nex.

I got up, brushed my teeth, had breakfast, then I decided to watch a movie in my tiny living room. While the movie was ongoing, I heard a knock on the door. I looked through the peephole to check who it was, but surprisingly no one was there. I opened the door and I found a note. I picked it up read it, and what I saw was 100 percent freaky. It said "I'm your worst nightmare and I'm always watching". "Who the heck wrote that" I thought to myself. After reading that, it was hard for me to feel secure staying alone. So I invited Star and Nex.

"Hey girl, how are you" Star asks, smiling as usual. "I'm good" I replied, hiding my true feelings with a faint smile. "Hey, I'm Nex" he said offering Star a handshake. "I'm sorry but I don't accept handshakes often" Star answered. It was so obvious that Star didn't like Nex. She's normally the nice type, so for he to say something like that, it meant a lot. Her body language literally spelt out 'I don't trust you'. But at that point I didn't need any extra friendship drama. I needed them both.
