On The Hunt for The Vulture
Batman and Batwoman arrived before an apartment building. A tip from one of Sebastian's contacts had led them on a chase where they made contact with a few members before gaining some credible information which led to them coming here.
"Looks like no one home" Batwoman spoke up after scanning the apartment. Batman simply gave her a nod before making his way to the window of the apartment of Randy Vale. Once in. the two began to search the place.
"Found a case... yeah, this is our guy." Batwoman spoke up as she turned to Batman. Batman came closer to the case and picked out one of the devices to have a closer look. The device, Batman noticed had markings of Chitahuri tech as well as something he wasn't aware of.
"Can't believe, there is still Chitahuri tech around", Batwoman spoke up. "The attack covered a large part of New York, as to how much alien tech is out there exactly, we truly don't know." Batman gave a response as he placed the device back into the case.
As he did so the two heard the sound of the lock from the front the door and moved to hide. Randy Vale made his way into his apartment, locking the door once he was in. He flung his backpack on to his couch before moving to the fridge to take a beer as he turned the lights on.
A wide grin came over his face once he saw the bottle of beer before him, chilled to perfection. He took out the beer and turned around only to come face to face with the Batman and Batwoman. His eyes widened as he froze in fear, as the bottle which he dropped made contact with the floor he snapped back.
He made to grab a weapon but his reaction however was too slow. Before he could move an inch, Batwoman was on him delivering a flurry of attacks to him. Randy was forced to let out a groan of pain as Batwoman held him in a choke hold, "You're working with the Vulture, tell me where he is" Batman began the interrogation.
"I'm not afraid of you" The man managed to force out, The was a pause before Batman took him from Batwoman and sent him through a wall face first. Randy was not given anytime to compose himself as Batman dragged him towards the window which was now closed.
With a blow, the glass was shattered. "Argh!" Randy let out a scream of pain as Batman held him out through the window. With some of the jagged glass piercing into his skin, "I'm going to ask you again, where is the Vulture?"
The confidence Randy had in the beginning had vanished once he saw the eyes filled with conviction staring at him. "Look you don't understand, If I tell you, he is going to come after my family. You're scary I'm not gonna lie, but I care about my family."
Batman silently stared at him for another second before knocking him out and dragging him back into the apartment. "What now?" came Batwoman's question, "his associates are a dead end but this isn't over."
"You have a plan?"
"Continue patrol. I have to go and talk to Sebastian."

"I take it, your venture was a failure" Sebastian spoke up as he saw Batman walk up to him, "Yes, from the way things are looking we might need help from Eve." Sebastian tensed up once he heard the name, "I haven't heard from her since then, don't even know if she is still in New York".
"Nightwing and Yelena, spoke of a 'Black Cat' with the information they brought alongside some info from Hammer Head. I believe Black Cat is working alongside Eve" Sebastian gained a pensive look at Batman's words, "Then there is a chance she is still in New York."
"I'll try and pay a visit to a few places where she may be tomorrow and see if I can find her"
"Thank you"
"Its nothing master Jeffrey. Will you be spending the rest of the night at home?" Sebastian questioned as Batman turned around to leave the Batcave, "No I'll head out to patrol".
"The rest of the team is out already sir, and Jeffrey King will be very busy." Sebastian persuaded causing Batman to come to a halt, "I just want to take one more sweep. You maybe contacting Eve tomorrow but I intend to see if I may be lucky enough to find a lead as to where the Vulture is hiding".
With those words Batman left the cave, his mind heavy on why Vulture suddenly up and moved his family. Sure butterfly effect could be the simplest answer but Batman there was something more, he didn't know what it was, but that feeling made it impossible for him to rest.
