Became an Evil Dragon

chapter 5

5 – 5. Dragon’s Satisfaction (2)

It kicks off the ground and flies up, leading the body of a giant to fly through the sky.

Every time I flapped my wings, a gust of wind rose, pushing the air around me violently, and with each inhalation and exhalation, a small flame shimmered from the corners of my mouth and disappeared as it permeated into the air without a sound.

The entire mountain range was quiet.

No flying beasts dared to fly in the same sky as me, and they were sticking to the ground. The beasts of the field, knowing their subjects, held their breath and burrowed into their burrows, reluctant to be seen.

Because the Lord of the Mountains existed alone in the sky.

It was none of my concern whether or not all the crap in the mountains were terrified at the sight of my majestic majesty.

All noble beings do not care about the feelings of those below them.

And the dragon was the noblest being more than anything else in the world.

I feel good.

I liked a satisfying meal after a long time, but the existence of a small ring that I was holding on to in case it was about to break made me feel better.

unexpected gains. And for the first time in my life, my greed for treasure. My accident is getting eaten by the spirit of the dragon. A feeling of being robbed of one’s self.

Well, it doesn’t matter.

It felt so good that all the other miscellaneous problems didn’t matter. Who am I, what is the dragon, and what does all of that matter? They are all things that can be ignored as long as there is shining gold.

Shall we roar coolly after a long time? Feeling good while fiddling with the ring, I opened my mouth coolly and let out a shout of joy.

Hurray.

[————!]

The dragon’s roar, which came close to the shock wave, shook the mountain range.

A roar so loud that the branches of the trees below shook from the roar and the parched skin of the ground swayed.

We see small beasts fainting at the sound of overwhelming violence, and flying beasts trying to fly up and then crashing back to the ground.

While flying, I suddenly looked down and saw a creature that was not a creature of the mountain in a corner of my field of vision.

A horse that has been domesticated by humans and a hairless monkey riding on it.

Among them, the appearance of the hairless monkey was somehow familiar. A dragon’s memory is frighteningly sharp, so it must be one of the monkeys I’ve ever met. But the people I met after coming to this world are few. At most, most of them were residents of the village they had just been to. However, since he left immediately after eating and receiving the ring as an offering, there was no reason for the villagers to be down there on horseback.

If so, where have you ever seen a human?

Quickly flipping through my memory, I remembered where I had seen him. It was the guy I had met just a few hours ago.

The knight who introduced himself as Ardamir today by pointing a skewer-like sword at me. And it was the squire who hid behind a rock long after the one who burned my snort and screamed and ran away when he saw the knight die.

I was a little angry at the fact that he dared to kill me and rode back so proudly, but I decided to close my eyes especially today.

Because it felt good. I ate to my heart’s content, and the human beings voluntarily gave me the offerings that I liked.

And also, you shouldn’t kill people recklessly. Although I sometimes forget, I am a dragon and at the same time, I am also a person who entered the body of a dragon.

Humans should be respected.

Well, let’s save him.

Having made up my mind, I ignored him and continued flying. Stopping on the way back home, killing him and going back was like eating a piece of cake for me, but I mercifully chose to spare him.

Mercy Dragon.

“aaa!”

As I was flying, I saw the servant who met my eyes, remembering the wrong he had done to me, and terrified. Falling from the top of a galloping horse, he must have been killed or seriously injured.

However, having shown enough mercy just by making up my mind to spare him, I naturally stopped flying and did not stand him up, asking if he was okay.

I didn’t know if he was hurt or not.

After flying through the sky and returning to the comfortable cave, I first went to the underground lake inside the cave to get dressed. Drink a lot of water that feels cold because it is not cool, and sprinkle water on the scales once to wash them lightly.

Cool. All the water on the body is bounced off by shaking the body once. My red scales, cleaned of dust, shimmered.

The dragon’s body usually sleeps for a long time after eating for a month. I wasn’t sure if it was because it took a long time to digest or if it was just because I liked sleeping, but anyway, I had eaten today, so it was obvious that if I fell asleep, I would sleep for two full days.

For your health, it is best to drink a lot of water, wash thoroughly, and then sleep. After drinking water, washing my body, and getting ready for bed, I go back to bed and lie down in my favorite position.

A posture in which the entire body is curled up so that the tail and head meet.

However, the difference between today’s bed and the previous ones is that there is a small object at the bedside. The small, yellow, flashing golden ring was instilling happy feelings in me just by existing.

hee hee

happy dragon.

Do not touch the ring with your fingertips, which have sharp fingernails, for fear of causing even a small scratch on the ring. As I smiled happily, gently touching the ring with the tip of my chin with my mouth tightly closed, I felt my eyes slowly closing.

I’m sure I’ll have good dreams today. A dream of a paradise full of meat and servants.

[————!]

Lord Ardamir’s messenger, Bolg, who was riding like crazy on horseback, got goosebumps from the sound of a huge roar coming from afar.

The owner of that sound that shook the mountain range was definitely that nightmarish dragon.

The red scales that seemed stronger than any steel, the frighteningly large size, the evil looking golden eyes, and the hot flames that instantly turned the armor and people into one.

I was scared. Bolg was genuinely afraid of the monster. It was the first time he had felt this level of fear.

As much as that, the dragon was overwhelming and at the same time a terrible monster.

“I’m crazy, I’m blinded by money and follow that fool.”

A few weeks ago, Bolg had met a fledgling knight calling himself Lord Ardamir in a nearby town, and he had no doubt that he would fund his retirement. The fledgling knight who opened his wallet with a cool smile when he said a few nice things to Bolg looked like a walking wad of money.

Excited at the idea of using the guy to get his share, Bolg readily accepted when Ardamir heard strange rumors and asked him to go hunt the dragon.

After all, the dragon was a monster that was almost legendary, and I couldn’t imagine that a fledgling knight who liked fairy tales and chivalrous novels would ever find a real dragon.

But to think that the fledgling had really found the dragon’s nest and even lost his cowardly head and attacked the dragon.

The world was going so crazy.

Even Bolg, who had lost his innocence as unexpected events unfolded one after another, secretly watched the battle between the knight and the dragon, wondering if anything would happen.

The picturesque confrontation between the knight and the dragon ended with a snort from the dragon.

Ardamir turned into burnt meat with his armor stuck to him, and the dragon simply killed the knight with a snort and then indifferently turned around and entered the cave. That was the result of Bolg’s reckless fighting.

I have to go back. Volg ran away frantically and stole the knight’s horse, which was tied outside the cave, and was moving away from the dragon’s lair at full speed.

You never know when the monster will change its mind and try to kill itself. No matter how good he was at killing people, it didn’t seem like it would work on the dragon. It was certain that he would die without being able to resist properly.

“Damn, damn, damn!”

Bolg, riding his horse back to the village, looked up at the sky when it suddenly became dark.

His eyes met the dragon flying above him.

Large golden eyes staring straight at Bolg.

Bolg realized that the dragon had seen him and that it remembered him.

“Huh!!”

A cold fear that sends chills down to your bones.

Standing in front of the predator, the prey fell off the running horse as the body stiffened.
