Beyond The Worlds: I'll Chase After You

It has been 3 years since then, and a bit of incidents happened within the 3 years of me being a child. During my grandmother's birthday, I managed to walk on my own and pride engulfed me, my brother also followed my footsteps and managed to walk too after some time during that same day

Few months after that, the U.K's crime rate increased out of nowhere and a powerful villain managed to seriously injure our Aunt in the heart and later experiences heart attacks when adrenaline kicks in. With no choice but to retire from her hero job, along with grandma moved to Japan as the crime rate here is much lower than the U.K

Right now I am currently in a playground along with my brother, who is now my underling. We grew up quite cutely as we became the stars of our daycare of course I am more popular as I am not a coward like my lil bro

There were times that my twin gets bullied by the other kids when I'm not looking, but I beat them up even if they did nothing! Only I, am allowed to do that!

My progress of creating sunshine is going without a hitch! I found out that there is a thing called "Quirk Factor" Which is the collective traits that composes a quirk. My quirk (Quirk Creation) should allow me to build a Quirk factor, as the color of my quirk is "Blank" according to Dr. Sasaki. I should be able to "Paint" my quirk to what I desire. This also made me realize why the old man said I only have certain charges for my quirk, as you cannot "color" a limited "canvas" with billions of colors

"Kukukuku~" I chuckled as I couldn't help but imagine how much powerful I'll become!

"Uhh, Aniki... is something wrong?" Nikko said to me with concerns.

I managed to climbed the to the top of the geodome that we were climbing. I look down at my twin with a prideful smile as the sun sat behind me casting a shadow

"Brother..." I said as I heard him gulped "Soon, I'll stand above everyone within the confines of this world! with my (Quirk Creation) I shall make the strongest quirk ever imagined and stand like the sun!"

Nikko's eyes were full of admiration from my speech, I basked in that admiration for some time, Before remembering yesterday's incident.

It was when my brother was found to be quirkless after Dr. Sasaki's check-up, He cried a lot that day. But suddenly returned to normal this morning

Just then, I saw a bunch of kids suspiciously smiling after glancing at our direction. I hopped down, earning my brother's curiosity.

I walked up to the group of kids and kicked their leader in the ass, making him eat the dirt ground.

He got up "You!!!!" He growled at me but I simply kicked him again before walking back

"Aniki, why'd you do that to him?" Nikko asked, I simple shrugged and told him "C'mon let's go home!" Nikko nodded and we began walking home

I made Nikko lead the way as he already knows my bad habit of getting lost even after years of living in this neighborhood

—Next Day—

Our family decided to go on a field trip today! of course this includes me, Nikko, Mom, Dad, Aunt Elly, And Grandma.

The day is beautiful and fresh as well! It would also be perfect if it is accompanied with proper music

And when I say proper, I meant no hero advertisement within the song I am currently listening to!

Now that I thought about, I heard that after the popularity of quirks skyrocketed. The entertainment industry halted for a few years before continuing, but it was already too late as the creativity of people also fell along the way, and were replaced by "What if there is a quirk like this?" Like any other Isekai genre in my last Life

Though I was enjoying the day, We were soon caught in a long traffic. Figuring that it'll take long for the car to escape traffic, I started to work on (Sunshine)

The way I'm going to "Paint" (Sunshine) is first make part of my quirk factor to process sunlight or solar radiation like a Kryptonian, and turn that into energy. Since I am not a Kryptonian nor know of their genetics, I decided to have the same weakness as the real (Sunshine) user, and that is being weak at night In order to not let my self explode from excess amount of energy that my quirk will absorb, and slowly disperse the energy stored after high noon.

Second is to make the body adapt to the energy, and hold it until the sun reach afternoon. The body should be able to slowly absorb sunlight until it reaches it's peak at noon and to properly adjust the speed of absorption depending on how strong the body is. This should make give the body faster regeneration

Third is to make it have emitter ability to compensate the lack of range. I decided to use nuclear fusion to create a miniature/artificial sun by "coding" my quirk to attract hydrogen and other gases

And for the last part is to make the "Solar Panel" with a conversion rate of 1 sunlight into 1000 super concentrated energy. This is where I am stuck since I don't know how to do it. of course It should be impossible to do but I have a—

The sudden sound of crashes and bombs woke Haruki up, He heard car alarms going off everywhere. His Father and Aunt, took immediate action and made the family eject out of the car, the former is a Police officer while the latter is a retired Hero.

The family got caught up in a villain attack in a busy road. Driving a car to escape is next to impossible in a busy traffic, not to mention they were in the middle of a suspension bridge.

But before the family could take action, empty cars were being thrown out of the river and unfortunately they were still inside when their car was thrown out

The front window of the car cracked and a tiny stream of water started to pour. Everyone was calm except Nikko who was panicking, as Art and Elly had everything undercontrol until a villain from the rear view mirror was spotted swimming around the waters by Haruki.

He has the appearance of a human Jellyfish. Soon later multiple villains with quirks that allowed them to have advantages in the water came out one after another surrounding the sinking vehicle.

All the Young Haruki could think of at the moment were 'Shit, It was all planned! But who?!'

Haruki is confused for why they've been targeted. They were just like any other family aside from his Aunt's status of retired hero, they were not that special since his father, and Nikko are quirkless.

His grandmother's quirk called (Carry a Ton), it's ability is to increase the weight of anything she touches up to 12 times the original weight. His Aunt's quirk is called (Heavy repellant) It is an inherited quirk of her mother and late father who can repel anything thrown at him, he would use his quirk to coat his hands before landing a punch to send heavier blows towards his opponents. She can do the same but instead of just repelling it also make things heavier

His mother's quirk is like a double edged sword, she calls it (All or nothing), she can greatly boost an ally's quirk temporarily at the cost of all her vitality.

Opening the door would only endanger the family as the villains were already surrounding them, Not to mention their car is fully under the water's level by a couple of meters

A villain with a large build approached the car, and began winding up a straight punch to break the car window at the back of the passenger's seat where Aiko was seated.

Having no other choice, as she was only one who can fight, Elly used her quirk to and repel not just the villains but also the car. Of course the car blew up but the family was mostly fine as Elly repelled the Energy out to the villains which caused them to "fly" backwards.

Of course, this didn't come without a cost. Her body is very weak compared to her prime, she barely able to fully use her quirk which depended on adrenaline rushes unlike before. She shouldn't think about unnecessary thoughts right now since they're in a dire situation.

Using this chance, She quickly reached out her right hand to grab her mother who was holding Arthur, and Aiko with her children with her Left. She repelled the water that was covering them downward which made them go up the surface faster and call for backup.

They were about to reach the surface but six tentacles came out from the deep waters and three of the six tentacles of the jellyfish villain grabbed hold of Aiko's legs after moving the kids away from the incoming tentacles. The incoming tentacles almost caught Elly but a hand intercepted, It was Arthur who caught it, he couldn't not be able to do anything as his sister was doing her best to save them. Not to mention the kids are barely holding on before they start to drown, Arthur managed to take the three tentacles saving his mother and sister.

Aiko, and Arthur couldn't do anything now as they were poisoned by the tentacles not to mention they were getting light headed from the lack of oxygen. In a last-ditch of effort, Aiko used her quirk (All or nothing) to boost her sister-in-law's quirk pass her prime.

She immediately understood the message, her brother and sister won't be able to make it out as they would only be of a burden to her. The two knew it very well and were ready to sacrifice themselves in order to save their kids. Her mother however wouldn't be having any of that and tried to reach out to save them, but was held tightly by Elly, the latter knew very well that saving them would only lower the chances of survival for the kids, and it was against their wish to be saved.

Gritting her teeth, she turned around with a face full of sorrow while she held her nieces and continued their way to the surface and towards the river beds at amazing speeds. She ignored the literal pain in her heart as she couldn't care less about her body's condition, and the silent cries of her mother and nieces, she vowed to herself to do what it takes to fulfill her sister and brother's wish

Aiko and Arthur's last view, were them and their children reaching out to them with sad faces, especially Nikko. They wished for them to live safely and away from danger, as their vision started to turn dark, they looked at each other one last time and their consciousness left their bodies.

"SHIIIIT!!!" The jellyfish villain yelled. Their mission objective was to bring the black haired girl alive so their boss can take her quirk and use it for his own benefit. But they failed their task, not to mention their second target managed to escape.

"Boss is going to kill me!" That were his last words before he was never heard from again
