Shiro quickly darted out of his room, his footsteps light and swift as he made sure to put some distance between himself and Aizen and Haruto. The last thing he wanted was for them to catch him and retaliate for his prank. He spent the rest of the day with his eyes constantly darting over his shoulder, keeping a careful ten-meter distance from them whenever they were near.

Even though he tried to act nonchalant, a subtle unease gnawed at him. He could almost feel their plotting eyes on him. Aizen, calm as ever, likely had a devious plan forming in his mind, while Haruto, fiery and unpredictable, could be gearing up for something explosive.

Still, Shiro couldn't help but think about the strange sensation he'd felt during his meditation earlier. The image, fleeting as it was, felt… real. Was it the ghost of his Zanpakuto? Maybe it had already begun to form. His connection with it was growing stronger, and he felt it in his very core. It was still so vague, but it felt like something more, something important was on the horizon.

The day's classes were over, and the corridors of Shin'ō Academy emptied as students made their way to their dorms or training grounds. Shiro, still on edge from his prank war with Aizen and Haruto, headed toward the training grounds. He wanted to meditate again, but this time, he wasn't as hopeful for any revelations. His thoughts kept drifting back to the vision he'd had earlier—the ghost of his Zanpakuto—or was it just his mind playing tricks on him?

Sitting in his usual spot on the grounds, Shiro closed his eyes and slipped into meditation. His breath slowed, and his Reiatsu began to settle as he entered a deep, almost trance-like state. The world around him faded, leaving only the stillness in his mind.

But this time, nothing came. No visions, no strange presence—just the quiet hum of his own energy flowing through him.

Thirty minutes passed, and Shiro's patience started to wear thin. His mind, usually calm in these moments, was now restless. Just as he was about to open his eyes and abandon his attempt, he felt a sharp poke against his shoulder.

His eyes snapped open, and he blinked in surprise. Standing before him, looking as mischievous as ever, was the mysterious woman known for her incredible speed: Yoruichi.

Her golden eyes twinkled with playful amusement as she leaned down slightly, her hands on her hips.

Shiro blinked, slightly irritated but mostly surprised. "What do you need?" he asked, his tone betraying a hint of curiosity.

Yoruichi raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a smirk. "Can't I come see you? It's been a while, hasn't it?"

Shiro knew that smile all too well. It wasn't the innocent curiosity it appeared to be. There was more to this than she was letting on. He sighed and crossed his arms. "So, what do you want?"

Yoruichi's smirk only grew wider. She didn't answer immediately, instead crouching down beside him. Her voice dropped to a more serious tone, but there was still that underlying playfulness in it. "Well, I thought you might like a challenge. A little test for your skills. I've been curious to see how much you've improved."

Shiro narrowed his eyes. "A test? What kind of test?"

Yoruichi tilted her head slightly, her gaze piercing but warm. "A practical one. I'll push you just enough to see where you stand. You're not getting off that easily."

Shiro could feel the intensity of her presence, the way she effortlessly emanated power. Yet, there was something oddly reassuring about her challenge. "Fine," he said, standing up and preparing himself. "But don't think I'll go easy on you."

Yoruichi grinned widely, her golden eyes flashing with excitement. "Wouldn't dream of it."

And with that, the training ground, usually peaceful and quiet, suddenly felt charged with anticipation. Shiro knew this would be no ordinary challenge.
