Chapter 13: Get Off My Daughter!

" Don't play innocent." He growls.

" I don't even understand what you're talking about." I say.

" I don't either!" Greg yells.

I'm pushed backwards onto the bed, as he roughly runs his hands through his hair," I felt you shifting, and even though I was in the middle of talking to your father - your father, Lucy, I came running into that room to . . . to hug you." He scrunched up his face," To comfort you, even though I knew you wouldn't be comforted by me, my wolf made me. I'm sorry, that I did that to you, but I was hoping you would have some explanation as to why I'm like this around you."

" Well, it's obvious." I say," It's like I said earlier, you have the hots for me."

" You know that's not true, low breed." He said," Besides, I thought you were the one who liked me, after initiating that kiss in the car and everything."

" You wanted to impregnate me!" I yell.

" That proves nothing, it was a spur of the moment impulse."

I jump up from the bed and slap him as hard as I possibly can. He looks indignantly up at me, and I shrug," Spur of the moment impulse."

He growls and shoves me back onto the bed, causing me to squeal, and he throws his hands next to my head while hovering over me," Impulse." He smirks.

I knee him in the crouch," Impu-" I say before his body collapses onto mine and he groans in pain," Get off me." I hiss.

" Impulse." He coughs.

" Get off, you're heavy, I'm gonna suffocate." I groan.

He laughs dryly," I win."

There is a sudden rap at the door and as it opens I hear a shriek," Honey, come here now!" My mother yells.

" Greg, get off me." I hiss.

" Consider this payback for earlier and the kick to the jewels you just dealt me." He whispers.

" You're fine." I reply.

" Physically, maybe - even though I did just get kneed in the balls - but you've wounded me psychologically, low breed." Greg says.

Thundering footsteps come rushing towards the room.

" Get off or you might die!" I growl.

" Oh, you're worried about my well being now ?"

" I said separate rooms! Stop defiling my daughter! What would your mate say about this!" My father came into the room screaming.

" Dad, calm down." I say," Greg, stand up." I whisper.

He shot up, and I stood up next to him," See, dad, it's fine. It's not like he was taking my clothes off or anything, he just fell on me, right Greg ?" I nudge him but he doesn't move," Right, Greg ?" I elbow him harshly.

" Yes." He says before looking at my father," Now then, let's continue the conversation I so rudely left earlier."

" We can't." My father said curtly.

" Wait, but -"

" My pack has a shift to prepare for, so I can't have you wasting more of my time. I will take you to your separate room, and then I expect both of you to stay in your own respective rooms until the pack comes back at sunrise."

" Yes, daddy." I say as everyone exits my room. I see Logan still standing in my doorway as everyone else files into the hall. Greg gives one last glance before huffing and continuing to walk to his room with my father.

" Look, Logan, I really am sorry about those mean things I said to you. I didn't mean any of them."

" I know. I'm sorry too." He then exits my room and closes the door behind him.

I fall back on my bed and sigh. It's been a long night . . .
