Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Letassistant
The air was electric with tension as Vadal and Lira kissed, their passion and desire for each other palpable. Vadal's hands roamed over Lira's body, caressing her skin and sending shivers down her spine. Lira's hands were just as busy, her fingers tracing the lines of Vadal's face and neck, sending sparks of pleasure through his body.
As they kissed, Lira felt herself surrendering to Vadal, surrendering to the passion and desire that had been building between them for so long. She felt her defenses crumbling, her heart opening up to Vadal in a way that it never had before. Vadal, too, felt himself surrendering, surrendering to the love and desire that he had been trying to deny for so long.
"Ahem" a faint cough interrupted them. They broke apart, looking in the direction of the voice, and saw Mrs. Ana, their butler, standing in the doorway with a warm smile on her face. Lira's face flushed red with embarrassment as she stuttered, "Mrs. Ana... how long have you been standing there?"
Vadal stared at Lira's flushed face and whispered, "She's been standing there the whole time." Lira felt a wave of shame wash over her, and she hid her face in Vadal's chest, trying to escape the embarrassment. "So she heard everything we talked about," she whispered, her voice muffled by Vadal's chest.
Vadal nodded, his voice low and amused. "Yes, she did." Mrs. Ana, who had been watching the scene unfold, smiled warmly at the couple. "No need to feel shy, my dear," she said, her voice filled with happiness. "Vadal is your husband, and I'm glad you finally accepted him and patched things up together. Congratulations, you two!"
Mrs. Ana's words were like a balm to Lira's embarrassed soul. She looked up at Vadal, who was smiling at her with warmth and affection, and felt a sense of gratitude towards their butler. "Thank you, Mrs. Ana," she said, her voice still a little shaky. "We're just... happy to have finally worked things out." Mrs. Ana nodded, her eyes shining with tears. "I'm happy for you both," she said. "I've been praying for this moment for a long time. The lord has finally answered my prayers, and I couldn't be happier for you two."
The atmosphere in the room was filled with joy and happiness as the three of them stood there, basking in the warmth of their newfound understanding. Vadal wrapped his arms around Lira, holding her close as he smiled at Mrs. Ana. "Thank you, Mrs. Ana," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "You've always been like a mother to me, and we appreciate your love and support." Mrs. Ana smiled, her face radiant with happiness. "I love you both like my own children," she said. "And I'm so glad to see you happy and in love."
Mrs. Ana's voice broke the spell, "But I'm sorry for interrupting you, but breakfast is ready." Vadal nodded calmly, "We'll be there." The butler nodded and walked away, leaving the couple to themselves. Vadal turned to Lira and said, "Letassistant
"Let's go and eat," Vadal said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. Lira nodded, and before she could take a step, Vadal lifted her up and carried her to the dining room. Lira felt a surge of delight at the romantic gesture, and she stared at Vadal's handsome face with a smile.
As Vadal carried her, Lira felt like a princess, and she couldn't help but giggle at the absurdity of it all. Vadal's face was inches from hers, and she could see the laughter in his eyes. She felt happy and carefree, and she knew that this was just the beginning of a beautiful day.
As Vadal lifted Lira up and carried her to the dining room, she couldn't help but feel a sense of romance and excitement. She stared at his handsome face, taking in the strong features and piercing eyes that seemed to see right through to her soul. A smile played on her lips as she felt his warm breath on her skin, and she couldn't help but notice the way his muscles flexed as he carried her.
Vadal's arms were wrapped tightly around her, holding her close as he walked. Lira felt a sense of security and comfort in his embrace, and she couldn't help but snuggle in closer to him. She rested her head on his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his skin and the beat of his heart. It was a gentle, intimate touch, and Lira felt her heart skip a beat as she realized how much she had missed this kind of closeness with Vadal.
As they walked, Lira couldn't help but notice the way Vadal's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. She felt a spark of attraction ignite within her, and she knew that she was still deeply drawn to this man. She looked up at him, her eyes meeting his, and she felt a jolt of electricity run through her body. Vadal's eyes seemed to burn with intensity, and Lira knew that he was feeling the same attraction.
When they reached the dining room, Vadal gently set Lira down in her chair, and then took his own seat beside her. The table was set with a delicious-looking breakfast spread, and Lira's stomach growled in anticipation. Vadal poured her a cup of coffee, and then served her a plate of food. As they ate, they chatted and laughed, enjoying each other's company.
As they sat together at the breakfast table, Lira felt a sense of hope and renewal. She knew that their relationship still had its challenges, but she was ready to face them head-on, as long as Vadal was by her side. She reached out and took his hand, feeling a spark of electricity as their fingers touched. "I'm glad we're doing this," she said, looking into his eyes. Vadal smiled, his face filled with love and adoration. "Me too," he said. "I'm glad we're starting anew, together."
The peaceful moment between Vadal and Lira was shattered by the sound of Lira's phone vibrating on the table. The "beep beep" sound filled the air, and Lira's face immediately fell as she checked the caller ID. Her expression turned dark, and she looked at Vadal with a panicked gaze. But Vadal remained calm, seemingly unbothered by the interruption, and continued to enjoy his meal.
Lira dropped the phone on the table, trying to ignore the call, but Vadal's calm demeanor was unsettling. "Is Laurent calling?" she asked, biting her lip, unsure of how Vadal would react. But Vadal's response was unexpected. "Go on and answer him," he said calmly, taking a sip of his drink. Lira's eyes widened in surprise, and she clenched her fist, hesitant to answer the call.
With a deep breath, Lira picked up the phone, her heart racing with anticipation. She hesitated for a moment before answering, her voice barely above a whisper. "Hello?" she said, trying to sound calm. Vadal watched her with interest, his eyes never leaving her face. He seemed to be waiting for her reaction, his expression unreadable.
