Chapter 15: Bat-Suit
[2 years later]
[3RD POV]
"Activate the shields," Bruce instructed as he stood before the training area, looking at the bat-like device on the hologram's chest.
With his command, an energy barrier enveloped the training ground, protecting the Batcave from any damage.
"Activate the suit," Bruce directed, and the bat-like device swiftly morphed into a suit.

{Systems are online, sir.}
Eden announced as the suit's status appeared on the barrier in front of him.
"Test weapon systems," Bruce ordered, watching as lasers shot from the suit's claw-like fingertips and various gases, including fear gas, sleeping gas, and nitrogen gas, were released from its palm. Various medieval and modern weapons formed on every part of the suit—even a crotch rocket.
"Begin the durability test." At his command, the barrier unleashed shockwaves strong enough to break mountains. After ten minutes, Bruce stopped the shockwaves.
{The suit's durability is at 99,64%, sir.}
For the next hour, Bruce tested the suit's limits, exposing it to flames hot enough to melt titanium, extreme cold near absolute zero, ocean-level water pressure, lasers that could slice through mountains, and the force of a nuclear blast. Each test showed that the Promethium blend with titanium and vanadium made the suit nearly indestructible, absorbing almost all the energy it encountered. Despite all these tests, the suit's durability only decreased by 3%, and it was able to self-repair in seconds.
After completing the tests, Bruce deactivated the barrier and entered the training area, retrieving the bat-like device from the hologram. He placed it on his chest, and it transformed into a suit that enveloped him entirely.
Bruce looked at the data screen in his view, which displayed the suit's specifications and information about his surroundings. He started stretching to check how comfortable the suit felt.
"It feels like I'm not wearing anything at all. Eden, do a scan to see if its radiation is affecting me," Bruce instructed. The Promethium he used emits radiation that can lead to mutations or activate metagen, which he doesn't have, but it's better to be safe.
{Currently, Promethium radiation is not affecting you, sir, as your immune system is at its peak due to the serum you developed. However, prolonged exposure could lead to mutations.}
'Blades of Chaos,' Bruce mentally commended, and the suit made the Blades of Chaos that Kratos used. He held the blades for a moment before he made an angry expression.
"ZEUS!" Bruce shouted as he swung the blades around, trying to perform some of the moves he remembered from the games, which proved quite challenging. He then hurled the blades at the Batcave's ceiling and, gripping the chains, pulled himself up.
Hanging from the ceiling, Bruce tapped his palm with his finger in Morse code to signal 'retract the blades.' The blades retracted into the suit, and Bruce activated the suit's thruster at 5%, flying toward the waterfall exit to leave the Batcave.
"This is fucking AWESOME! HAHAHAHA!" Bruce shouted as he burst through the waterfall and soared into the clouds.
As he flew high enough to see all of Gotham, he observed the dark city, where crimes occurred in nearly every alley and the sound of police sirens echoed even above the clouds—the true symphony of Gotham.
He soared higher above the clouds to get a full view of the moon. Seeing the beautiful sight before him, he wanted to share it with his wife, so he created a barrier around himself as his suit retracted to the bat symbol on his chest.
"Teleute," Bruce called gently, turning his head to see her smiling at him.
He took her hand and kissed her palm.
"You look adorable in your suit, darling, like a little demon," Teleute teased Bruce.
"I was actually going for the dark creature of the night vibe, not an adorable little demon."
"Hahaha, don't worry, dear. You will look scary when you grow up," Teleute said, still teasing Bruce.
"Didn't you promise to be my loving, supportive wife? It's only been a few years, and you're already making fun of me," Bruce said with a mock sad expression, which made Teleute giggle softly.
"Hehehe, don't pout, dear; you look so adorable that I can't resist," Teleute said playfully, pinching Bruce's cheek.
"Tease me all you want; I'm taking notes... I'll get back at you when I grow up," Bruce muttered quietly.
"Will you now? And how do you plan to do that?" Teleute asked with a mischievous smile, still pinching his cheek until it turned bright red.
"You'll see, I will have my revenge," Bruce declared with a serious expression and bright red, swollen cheeks.
"Hehehehe."

"You know what would make the moon more beautiful," Bruce said, gazing up at it. It seemed to lack something special...something perfect.
"No," she replied quickly, rejecting the idea.
"Hear me out."
"Bruce, darling, please don't."
"...As you wish, my love." Bruce decided not to carve Teleute's face into the moon, but that was the only promise he made.
"HELP!" While Bruce enjoyed the moon with Teleute, he suddenly heard a faint cry for help. He enhanced his suit's vision and saw a woman in a revealing outfit being attacked in an alley by a thug with a knife.
At first, he hesitated to intervene, unsure if saving her would mark his debut as Batman and trigger a butterfly effect where the villains of Gotham emerge early. But when he saw Teleute nodding her head, he decided to step in, more to test his suit than to save the woman.
"Eden, EMP the entire area," Bruce instructed as he dived towards the alley.
"Shut up, bitch, or I will gut you like a fish," the thug threatened, waving the knife while trying to snatch the woman's handbag.
"Please don't take my money, I'm begging you. I need it for my little girl," the woman pleaded, tears streaming down her face, bruises visible, and blood at the corner of her mouth as she clutched her bag tightly.
Bruce stood on the edge of the roof, raised his hand, and a Batarang formed. He threw it, slicing the thug's hand and making him drop the handbag. The woman seized the chance and ran away without looking back. Then, Bruce opened his palm, and a hook shot out, wrapping around the thug's neck.
He grabbed the thug from behind, holding his neck so the thug couldn't see him. Lifting him up, he grabbed the thug's leg and slammed his back onto his knee, breaking the thug's spine and leaving him crippled for life before tossing the body aside. Afterward, he made an anonymous call to the police and then flew up to see Teleute vanish, probably went back home.
As he soared above Earth, Bruce took a moment to appreciate the planet before noticing a satellite.
'Right, I still need to build the Batmobile and a few satellites. I should also find some nth metal to blend with my suit and turn it into smart liquid metal, then store the suit within my bones and organs instead of carrying it as an object,' Bruce thought before he flew to the Earth's atmosphere. He then closed his eyes and let himself fall, something he had always wanted to experience, but it wasn't as enjoyable as he expected since he wanted to free fall from space with his own body, not in armor.

{Sir, Miss Kyle is currently in the training area.}
Eden informed Bruce as he entered the Batcave in his suit and saw her doing splits.
As Selina completed her splits, she noticed an armor that looked like it belonged in a sci-fi movie entering the cave.
"EDEN, WE HAVE AN INTRUDER!" Selina yelled while bending backward into a handstand. She then lowered her feet to the ground and carefully approached the weaponry, grabbing a pair of sharp-clawed gloves. At the same time, Bruce landed in the training area.
"EDEN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU DUMB MACHINE?" Selina shouted, frustrated that Eden hadn't turned on the safety protocol.
"It's me, Selina. And what are you doing here? It's already past midnight," Bruce said as he landed and his suit retracted back to the bat symbol on his chest.
"Bruce?" Selina asked, still unsure if it was Bruce, as she stepped closer and reached him, but he stepped back.
"Selina, if you want to kill me, there are quicker and less painful ways than ripping me apart with those claws," Bruce said. The gloves Selina held were made of Promethium, sharp enough to cut through nearly anything, laced with poison, and hot enough to melt steel.
"Cut me some slack. I thought you were an intruder," Selina said, quickly putting the gloves back on weaponry. She then hurried back to Bruce.
"But damn, Bruce, is that the suit you were working on? It looks amazing! Show it to me again," Selina exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.
"My suit is not a toy, Selina," Bruce said as he moved to the Bat-computer for a quick check.
Selina followed Bruce, pleading, "Come on, Bruce, I just want to see it. Just one look. I only caught a glimpse when I was panicking, but your armor looked so awesome."
In front of the Batcomputer, Bruce pressed the Bat-symbol on his chest, and his suit appeared, enveloping him. This time, the suit was larger, about 190 cm (6'3"), since he wanted to show off and make it look more intimidating and imposing. With his current height of 155 cm at the age of 12, he looked like a cute little monster, like Teleute said instead of the incarnation of fear that he was aiming for.
"Th..I..Wha.." Selina was left speechless, looking at the suit and exploring it with her hands.
"It looks incredible, like something from a movie or comic! Can your armor do things like those heroes?" She said, her eyes shining with excitement as she climbed into the suit's cape.
Bruce gently lifted Selina and set her back on the ground while Selina's eyes sparkled, and she gave Bruce her best puppy dog eyes, pleading silently.
"You know that begging means nothing, Selina," Bruce said, as Selina's face dropped, looking like her world was ending.
"But luckily for you, it is already in my plans to make you a suit too," he added as his suit retracted back to the Bat-symbol.
"You're the best!" Selina shouted, hugging Bruce tightly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
"Okay, okay, get off Selina. It's late; you should go home, and I need to return to the embrace of my wife," Bruce said, giving her a gentle pat on the back.
Selina let go of Bruce and watched him from behind with a sad expression instead of a happy one as Bruce left, wishing that he could spend more time with her.
