In the forest, Ning Yechen landed on the ground with a thud, still holding Luo Hongye in his arms.

Ning Yechen said with a smile. But when his gaze shifted to Wu Kuang, his expression instantly turned icy cold, as if he was looking at a dead man.

Ning Yechen knelt down, put Luo Hongye down, and said to her.

“Can’t I tell Mommy either?”

Luo Hongye tilted her head and asked with confusion.

“Yes! Don’t tell your mommy either.”

Ning Yechen nodded.

This made Luo Hongye’s face crease with puzzlement.

“Why can’t I tell Mommy, Daddy?”

“Hmm… because Daddy wants to have a little secret with Ye Ye!”

“This is a secret between Daddy and Ye Ye, and secrets can’t be told to others!”

Ning Yechen said, coming up with an excuse on the spot.

Hearing this, the confusion on Luo Hongye’s face instantly vanished, replaced by a happy smile.
