Chapter 145 – Antibodies and Hell

“Lord Hashirama’s Cells, that’s troublesome,” Guren walked around the Anato, trapped inside a seal made from Earth Style.

“What is the meaning of this?” Mugino confusedly watched the man, “Are they experimenting with Lord Hashirama’s Cell?”

Guren abruptly hugged Mirai, making her squeal, “Hey!!!”

“Let me think….” Guren hugged her tightly for fun, putting her face between her breasts, thinking without caring about her panic, only for Mugino to forcefully pull him away.

“You can think without doing that, you perverted brat.”

Guren slumped down in the air, letting Mugino hold all the body weight, “I think…they don’t have it yet. Or they wouldn’t be so mad when I created an illusion that the body was destroyed.”

“But Anato got it from somewhere.”

“First, you needed Elite Medical Ninjas to properly handle Hashirama Cells. Anato might be the first finder but was infected. If they are searching, and if they sent a medical ninja….”

“He went rogue knowing there was more profit if he kept it for himself or sold it?” Mirai blinked, “Then is there anywhere they could sell nearby?”

Mugino was struck with realization, “Oh, not that place.”

“Hm. You seem to have an idea,” Guren glanced towards him, sighing, “But that is not the only problem. We need to take this guy to someone who could cure his condition. I have one way, but I need a medical expert. Should I…”

He wondered if he should use Flying Thunder God Jutsu to teleport back to the village. But if they knew this one involved Lord Hashirama’s Cell, they might interfere, and he wouldn’t be able to have as much fun.

“Oh, I know someone who is in this area. Someone good at Medical Jutsu.”

“Hm. Then with that, and the fact that we have to take Mrs. Mia, our team would have to divide into three groups. None of that is ideal,” Guren landed himself on the floor, “Four of you should head to retrieve Lord Hashirama’s Cells.”

“You don’t plan to take care of both Anato and Mrs. Mia alone, right?” Mirai furrowed her brows, “We should be able to help.”

“No,” Guren made a hand sign, creating a shadow clone, grinning, “Now, I can do both simultaneously. Since my job is only transportation, you don’t have to worry about anything. How about you go and retrieve those cells? Or do I have to do it myself?”

“No, we’ll retrieve it for sure,” Karin grinningly said with a blaze in her eyes.

“Yes. We can do that much. So don’t worry about us, Guren,” Yuzu sweetly smiled.

“You two, you don’t even know how dangerous that place is,” Mugino watched Guren’s clone leave to pick up Mrs. Mai.

“Since you don’t plan to discuss this, let me write down the details of the person you are trying to find.”

“Hehe, I like that you are so smart.”

A Few Hours Later,

Guren stood in front of the tent, hearing screams coming from inside, “Ah~ A sadist.”

He stepped inside to see a slender, dark-skinned woman with a curvy frame. She had straight brown hair that reached her jaw and framed her face with a single bang hanging between her purple eyes. She wore a white shirt under a short-sleeved pink shirt with pink shorts, black leggings, and white ankle-length boots.

“Aghhhh!!!!! I am going to die!!!!!!”

“Shishishi!! I am not letting you die. I am not done treating your legs,” The woman walked to the gate, ignoring Guren, gazing at the man outside, “See! You can use that leg again because of my treatment!!!”

“Ah~! I wanted to hear more of his painful screams,” The woman glanced towards Guren, smiling. But before she said anything, she noticed that he was carrying on his back, frowning, “Another one?”

“Another one? Does that mean you saw someone like this before?”

“Leaf Ninja…why are you here, boy?”

Guren chuckled, “Mugino told me about this place. He said there was a talented medical ninja here who could help me.”

“Help you? Sadly that is one thing I can’t help you with. Where did you find him?”

“Well,” Guren put Anato on the bed, looking around the tent until he found a syringe, “That is not what I want your help with.”

He took the syringe, taking out Anato’s blood before emptying it into his upper arms.

“Hey, kid! You idiot!!!”

The woman held him up by his collar, angrily glaring at him, only for Guren to smile, “Hey, Miss Yubina. I will be fine.”

He saw the area where he injected the syringe turn dry, “When I am. I want you to create antibodies from it to save that man. It’s that simple.”

Guren could tell she was angrily saying something, her lips were moving, but his eyelids became heavy and heavy before they closed. He felt his eyes spinning inside. Now that his eyes had become much stronger because of the Otsutsuki’s sacrifice, it was much easier to develop a resistance to anything. But still, since it was wood style, it took much, much longer to develop resistance. The good thing was since his other parts of the mind, like Decimo and Jay, were still active, he could control the shadow clone body to bring Mrs. Mai over. Although, there was a little trouble on one end.

Hueco Mundo,

Decimo closed his eyes, held in the woman’s embrace with orange hair, “I thought you would be angry.”

“Don’t be silly,” Masaki kissed his head, “There is no way I would be angry. Why did you leave?”

“It’s not that I left, but when my body reformed, having evolved, I was in hell. Being it my first time in hell…I noticed something different, so I decided to stay a bit longer….”

“I see,” Masaki sat down on him, kissing his cheek, “You stupid kid…you still don’t understand humans enough.”

“Hm?”

Karakura Town, Urahara Shop,

“Are you that is where he is?” Tatsuki clenched her fist, cracking her knuckles.

“Right,” Ichigo sat on a stone in the underground training room, narrowing his eyes, “I went and searched everywhere. He’s not in Soul Society or the other world or Hueco Mundo…of all the places I can think of, there I only one where he might be….”

“Hell,” Kisuke tapped his walking stick on the ground, attracting their attention, holding his hat with a smile on his lips.

“I always knew Jun would go to hell,” Tatsuki scoffed, only for Orihime to hold her hand in worry.

Sado silently stood there while Uryu adjusted his glasses, “I understand what you are trying to say, but the problem is how do we even get to hell?”

“Right, about that….” Kisuke was about to tell them of a brilliant invention he made, enough to send them to hell, only for Ichigo to interrupt him.

“We find hollows, and when the gates of hell open for one, we will sneak inside.”

“That’s…actually doable,” Uryu spoke out in surprise, “I wasn’t expecting a sound plan from Ichigo.”

“Technically, going to hell isn’t a sound plan,” Sado said.

“Still, we are going, right?” Orihime breathed in, looking at Ichigo with determination in her eyes.

“Yeah, we are. Let go and find as many hollow-“ Ichigo spoke when sharp claws scratched his face, making him hastily take a few steps back, holding his face, “Aghhhhhh!!! What are you doing?”

Yoruichi stood on Kisuke’s shoulder, “Listen when others talk to you. The Preparation needed to go to hell has been made, so we are coming.”

“Oh,” Ichigo felt his mouth twitch, “You could have just said that.”

“You weren’t listening!!”

Kisuke smiled, “Haha, this way, everyone. I will show you…the way to hell.”

Orihime and Tatsuki felt a shudder go down their spines, “Maybe this isn’t the best idea.”

Ichigo stood in front of a rectangular gate, much like when he went to the Soul Society, smiling, “That seems far easier. Mr. Hat and Clogs, are you sure you want to come?”

“Yes, I do want to see…what made him want to visit hell. It’s not very nice at this time of year, you know,” Kisuke chuckled, and Ichigo nodded, taking a step inside.

Not long after him, the others started to step in one after the other, and the world around them changed. They were in the sky of hell when they came to, falling downwards. Their eyes took in much of hell, seeing the white cubes, the blue abyss, the guards, the souls, and the big hole in between.

They could tell that souls were fighting against one guy even while falling. They could feel their spiritual energy, but from the size and strength behind their attack, they were at the same level as Captain Commander, enough to destroy all land on Earth.

“My, my, what is going on in Hell?” Kisuke stopped, and shortly after, he did the others, seeing a massive humanoid, nearly a km high, made of energy with wings behind it, aiming the bow towards Jun, “Susanoo.”

“Like the one in myths?” Ichigo asked.

“No, it’s a trick used by the Uchiha’s from the other world. But this….is he fighting one of those? No, there are two of them….”

“It doesn’t matter; I am going to help him!” Ichigo rushed in, flying towards Jun, looking towards the arrow coming closer, but it lost all its power when it was about to make contact, dissipating.

Jun’s voice echoed on the first floor of Hell, “You are not enough to defeat me. Just give up and return to your floors. You could try again in a thousand years.”

“Do not be arrogant, boy,” Indra removed the Susanoo, watching Guren, “Even you can’t keep up with that insane power for long.”

“Right? We’ll see about that,” Jun narrowed his eyes, giving Ichigo a side look, before turning towards other shadows watching from the blue abyss. The moment they felt Ichigo’s insane spiritual pressure, they too chose to return.

Once they all left, Jun let out a sigh, “You stupid idiots. You shouldn’t have come here.”

“You are the stupid idiot who could never say thank you,” Ichigo rolled his eyes, knocking on Jun’s head, “Did you have to come to the hell of all places?!”

“Jun!”

Jun floated up, only to be tackled by Tatsuki, who hugged him tightly, wrapping herself around him, burying her head in his chest, “You stupid idiot!!”

“Jun-san~ I am sho gwad wat you are aibe!” Orihime wiped her tears, trying to form a sentence while crying.

Jun scratched his cheek, “It wasn’t like I planned to come to hell. When Captain Level Being dies, their spiritual pressure doesn’t dissipate in nature. The only way to get rid of it is to send it into hell. But here…for some reason, the hell seems to be pulling the spiritual energy on its own. This is why the moment I was powerless, I was fully divided…I was pulled into hell.”

“Wait, wait, does that mean why I die? I will be sent to hell too?!” Tatsuki asked in a slight panic.

“No, no,” Kisuke glanced towards her, “If you die, you will go to Soul Society…but if you don’t abandon your spiritual pressure and reincarnate, and then die again. You will be sent to hell.”

“Oh, that’s fine,” Tatsuki relieved, “As long as it’s my choice.”

Sado looked towards the blue abyss, “What is going on here?”

“Ah, about that,” Jun pointed towards the souls in bandages, “Those are souls of hell, the ones that have been tormented forever, mindless now. They all just want to get out, but the lower you go, the stronger the souls are. Not only that, they have all their facilities, and they haven’t died yet.”

“Died yet?”

Hueco Mundo,

Decimo smiled, caressing Masaki’s cheek, “Yes. Once you are thrown into hell, you don’t become hell’s property. Just a prisoner. But once you die in hell, you are revived by hell, and a chain appears on your chest, connecting you to hell, forever and ever.”

“That’s…then the ones you are fighting?”

“The free ones. The Ninjas were sent to hell for their sins, and they didn’t like it. This battle was only to test me; there must be a reason why they decided to stay in hell rather than come out,” Decimo looked distant, running his fingers through her hair, “Mm. I want to stay in hell a bit longer.”

“No. Come back home,” Masaki shook her head.

“Masaki…”

“I am still your mother,” Masaki cupped his cheek with her palms, looking into his eyes, “Your mother tells you to come home. If it’s a disaster, then we’d all deal with it. So come back home.”

Decimo watched her, letting out a sigh, “Gee, you make it hard to say no when you look at me like that.”

Outskirts of Land of Valley,

Guren opened his eyes, feeling his body had returned to normal, turning his eyes towards Yubina, who watched him with amazement, “You survived.”

“Yes, I did,” Guren said hoarsely, “The antibodies…they should be more than enough, right?”

“Right, I already injected the first ones; their symptoms are elevating, so you don’t have to worry about them.”

“Their? Them?”

“Oh,” Yubina realized, grinning, “There was another girl with the same symptoms under my care. It was good that you came over, or I wouldn’t have been able to save her!”

She wriggled her fingers, starting to run her palm over his arms and chest, “Now. I want to see what makes you so special that you can even survive Lord Hashirama cells.”

Guren sat up, “Ah, as interesting as that sounds. There is something else that I have to deal with.”

“Deal with?” Yubina was about to tell him to rest when lightning fell at the gate of her tent, burning it up.

“Who’s there!”

“Guests,” Guren got off the table, scratching his head, “I knew the moment I took Mrs. Mai, they’d realize that Anato is alive. So, here they are, to bring him back.”

“Hey, kid! Don’t tell me you brought trouble to my doorsteps!”

“Trouble?” Guren looked towards a woman with three goons with scientific ninja tools, “Ah, just some pests. Nothing you have to worry about.”

Land of Silence,

The Land of Silence was the lawless land where all the criminals went to hide from the authorities after them. Anything could be bought in this land as long as you had money.

But if you had power, you could just steal it, something that Yuzu, Karin, Mugino, and Mirai were up to.

“See, now we can enter the barrier,” Yuzu happily absorbed the energy from the barrier, causing a hole to appear in it.

“Brilliant,” Mugino commented, watching her. The two of these girls had shown him a ninja could do the things that he hadn’t thought. Now he understood more than ever as to why they were here. These were just children, and their abilities were still like a loophole in defense of Ninjas.

Still, it was a good thing they were on the same side, “Let’s go and get the Cells silently before leaving here.”

“I can do that; let me do that!” Mirai stood in front of Mugino, failing to hide the eagerness on her face.

“Can you?”

“Hehe,” Mirai laughed, rubbing her nose, “Let me show you a thing or two.”

Even though she knew that there was something different about her even since Sir Jay taught her that she could master any Bloodline Limit. But that didn’t change the fact that she wanted to get stronger. Especially when there were being like Momoshiki around, she wanted to protect her mother, her village, so she still used it, no matter where it came from.

But still, she was very demanding since she didn’t have all the time in the world, and the most helpful thing she thought was “Swift Release!”

Mirai’s body turned into a blur, disappearing from everyone’s sight, running through the sky. She clenched her jaw, using the chakra to create a barrier to protect herself. The Swift Release was a combination of wind and thunder chakra nature transformation. By mixing wind and lightning, she could energize her nervous system and reduce the friction from the air, allowing her to move at the same speed as the Raikage and effortlessly change her direction. The only problem was as the speed increased, the more energy she had to put in the chakra barrier protecting her from being torn apart by the molecules.

In this mission, that didn’t matter since she went to the main hall, took the cells, and escaped before any of them even realized what had happened. She reappeared back in front of others, holding the case with Lord Hashirama Cells, gasping for breath, “I did it….”

Mugino tiredly laughed, “Hah, every one of you. Is just unbelievable.”

RINNGGRINNNGGGRINNGGG

“Is that an alarm?” Karin looked towards the castle, “We should get out of here.”
“Good idea.”

Outskirts of Land of Valley,

Guren wiped the blood off his pink lips, watching the pieces, guts, heart, liver, brain of the four people who came to pick a fight, “Ah…I forgot to ask them who sent them. Well, not that I needed to.”

He looked over his shoulder, “Say, can I meet the other infected one?”

Yubina gulped, wiping the sweat off her chin, laughing sadistically, “Hahahaha, not as I can reject you.”

“Ah, you make me sound so bad,” Guren sweetly smiled, “I won’t kill you for sure.”

“Won’t kill me…huh,” Yubina scoffed, turning around to walk towards the inside of the medical tents, “Don’t leave behind that garbage on my doorsteps.”

“Sure, sure,” A black flame appeared on the pieces, burning them as he walked inside.
