Zhao Wuji, recovering from his own surprise, quickly fired the signal flare given by Meng Shu. The red light burst into the sky, signaling their location. Safety in numbers was paramount in the perilous Star Dou Forest, especially with the unexpected appearance of the Titan Giant Ape in its outskirts.

As the flare's light lingered in the sky, Zhao Wuji exhaled in relief. This trip to the Star Dou Forest had been a surreal nightmare, more nerve-wracking than the days when he was hunted by Spirit Hall.

Yun Feng, noticing Oscar's ongoing spirit ring absorption, asked, "Zhao Wuji, what's happening with Oscar?"

Zhao Wuji glanced at Yun Feng, his mood lightened by the reunion, and explained, "Oscar got lucky and found a suitable third spirit ring. He's absorbing it now, but he was injured earlier, so the process is a bit rough."

Following Zhao Wuji's gaze, Yun Feng saw the spirit beast Oscar was working on—a thousand-year-old Cloud Sparrow. Perhaps hearing Yun Feng's voice, Oscar's body trembled slightly, and the absorption process quickened.

Seeing Tang San's intent to hug Xiao Wu, Yun Feng instinctively wanted to stop him. However, in Yun Feng's mind, Ah Yin's voice trembled with desperation.

"Please, let me hug him. I've never had the chance to hold him since he

was born. Just this once. You can ask me to do anything!"
