Chapter 822:- The Tale of two Divine Dragons
Chapter 822:- The Tale of two Divine Dragons
The Next Morning, After a beautiful romantic night, Spencer looked very energetic this morning. He looked very refreshed. His subordinates noticed that their boss smiled at very little thing. It's not that Spencer was a totally stoic type of person who very rarely smiled or never smiled at all. At work, Spencer is always very serious. But outside of work, he is a very different person. It was very rare to see him smiling this frequently. "Boss, it seems you had a passionate night." One of the male assistants of Spencer commented, noticing his refreshed look. After his marriage, Spencer felt slightly embarrassed whenever the people around him teased him. But now, he had gotten used to it. It's not like he was doing anything illegal. Aria was his wife, and it was normal for him to be intimate with his wife.
"Well, thanks to you all, I don't have to work all day and night. I can take long breaks and spend time with my wife."
"By the way, why are you here?" Spencer asked with a confused look. Spencer was busy reviewing another budget report. He hadn't time to ask why the assistant was there. Spencer's assistants each had their own offices. Their offices were in the inner area of the Dragon Palace. It was next to the Academy. Before, all the assistants used to work in a single large room in the Old Royal Castle in the middle of Azure City. Due to lack of space, this was the only option. But now, all of his assistants worked very close to the Dragon Palace, allowing them to come to Spencer whenever they wanted without using teleportation arrays. There was a long corridor connecting Spencer's office to the back entrance. Anyone who wants to meet Spencer has to take this back entrance. No one is allowed to wander into other areas of the Dragon Palace. Aditya did not want anyone outside of his friends and family members to wander inside his house.
The main entrances were for the royal family members and guests. "I was here for this!!" Spencer took the paper from him.
"We have caught some people from the Dune Sovereignty Empire buying goods in bulk." Hearing this, Spencer frowned. "But here, the quantity written here isn't that high." For a second, he felt that the Emperor didn't do it.
"It seems like merchants from the Dune Sovereignty are attempting to purchase goods from our Empire at a lower price and then sell them for a profit in their own Empire."
"Didn't I tell you not to bring such small matters to me?" There was already a system to deal with such annoying merchants. There was no need for the Prime Minister to get involved in this.
But as he continued reading, he changed his mind. "Is it true?" Spencer asked. His assistant nodded his head with a serious look. "Yesterday, we caught over 200 of them. They were trying to buy goods such as rice, wheat, Barley, Oats, dried meat and fish."
"First, we suspected that they were just greedy merchants from Dune Sovereignty. But as more of them were caught, we realized that this matter needs your attention." "Sir, someone is trying to stock up on food supplies. These are food supplies that will last a long time. You understand what I am trying to say, right?" Spencer let out a heavy breath before nodding his head. "The Dune Sovereignty is preparing for war!!" "If we add up all the quantities of goods that over 200 people wanted to buy, the total quantity is enormous. It's so large that even a big merchant would struggle to handle it. This amount of goods could significantly impact prices across the entire continent." This suggested that the Dune Sovereignty was ready for a big war. And what could possibly make the second strongest Empire in the six continents prepare for such a massive war? The answer was very obvious. "Alright!! I understand!!" "Send those 200 men to the Capital Prison."
"Please remember the following points:"
"Place a limit on the maximum quantity of goods that an individual or group can purchase. Inform the public that this is a temporary measure to control inflation. If someone needs to buy a large quantity of goods, they must provide evidence of their need. Additionally, foreign merchants who wish to buy large quantities of goods should be restricted to purchasing only half of the amount they originally intended."
"Understood!!" "Also, tell them to keep a close eye on the market in the next few days." "That's all, you can leave now!!"
Once the assistant left, Nathan appeared in Spencer's office. Spencer was slightly startled to see him standing before his table.
"Nathan, do you have anything important?" If it wasn't important, then Nathan would usually send his right-hand man in his place. Since Aditya left, Spencer hadn't seen Nathan. It was the first time in 8 days that he was seeing the Captain of the Shadow Guardian. "The Dune Sovereignty is preparing for a war against us," Nathan said in a serious tone. Sigh!!
'I already knew it'
"Yesterday, there were even some rumors that the Emperor wanted to launch a surprise attack last night. Unfortunately, it seems their plan was delayed due to some things."
"That's because their men who were sent to our Empire to stock up their food supplies couldn't return." "The audacity of that Bastard!!" "They want to wage war against us while hoarding food supplies from our Kingdom." "Emperor Charles is too shameless!! That man has no dignity at all."
"Since they want war, we will respond back. Nathan, please call other Generals for an emergency meeting. I don't care what important task they are doing, I want to see them within an hour."
"Understood!!"

Scene to Starfall City, After almost 24 hours of continuously moving around Stardawn, Aditya and Rin finally come to their last stop before heading towards Starfall Mountain. "Excuse me, I am here to see Jenny!! Is she here?" Aditya asked. Seeing the couple, the old woman assumed that they were here to adopt Jenny. This made the old woman very happy. Now that her father-like figure was dead, recently she has been really worried about Jenny. "Of course!! Please give me a minute."
After a while, the old woman came with Jenny. Jenny failed to recognize Aditya since he was in disguise. "Don't you remember me?" The little girl looked puzzled. "I am the one whom you met that day." Hearing this, her eyes lit up. 'She is a clever girl.' Rin thought while looking at Jenny. She felt no hate towards Jenny. The one whom she hated was her father. But now that the old man was dead, there was no need to bring that up anymore. "Jenny, I am here for you. Just like I promised." Hearing this, Jenny's eyes widened. This means that he has avenged the death of her father. This made her very happy. "Do you know her?" The old woman asked with a look of surprise. "Yeah!! After all, she is Mr. Ross's daughter." Hearing this, the old woman looked at Jenny with a look of shock and disbelief. Now that Aditya had killed every single member of that organization, there was no need for her to hide her identity anymore. She can proudly tell the world who her father was. This is the least Aditya owned her since it was due to her info that he managed to find his woman. "Is it true, Jenny?" Jenny nodded her head with a bright smile. "This explains a lot of things." The old woman murmured in a low tone. "Grandma, I have promised to take Jenny with me." "You're not here to adopt here?" The old woman asked with a look of confusion. "Given my position, I cannot just adopt her. But I can promise that she will receive the best of the best." "Besides, she is willing to come with me. Or did you change your mind?" Aditya asked her. Hearing his question, Jenny now looked somewhat troubled. One day, she can live without fearing anyone. This city is where she grew up, and she is very reluctant to move to a completely different place where she won't know anyone. Aditya noticed her struggle. He kneeled in front of her and patted her head. "It's okay!!" "You can continue to stay here for as long as you want." Jenny and Aditya looked at each other. "If one day, you change your mind, then you can come find me at the Dragon Palace. The doors to my Empire will always be open for you."
"Thank you, big brother." The little girl hugged Aditya. Her small hands wrapped around his neck. He gently patted her back. 'Look at him, being so gentle and caring towards children.' Rin smiled while watching the scene. 'There is no doubt that he will be an amazing father to our children.' "Aditya, if we are going to leave her here, then I suggest we take some actions to make sure that no one will dare to bully her or hurt her in any way." Aditya nodded his head. He was also planning to do the same. As for the old woman, she nearly fainted when she realized that this was the Dragon Monarch. Aditya and Rin spent the rest of the day in Starfall City. The first person whom they met was the City Lord. Aditya forcefully made the City Lord sign a soul-binding contract with him. His role was to protect Jenny and look after her. The second thing they did was hire an old retired guard. Aditya transformed him into one of his Dragonians and told him to stay with Jenny all of the time and protect him. Finally, he gave ten million Royal gold coins to the City Lord. A portion of the money will be used to repair her father's Mansion, while the remainder will be set aside for Jenny. Weekly expenses for the Mansion, including food and cleaning, will be covered using a small portion of this money. Once she is mature enough, she will begin receiving a monthly allowance. When she turns 15, all the remaining money will be given to her.

Scene Change____
"Everything is good and perfect!!"
"I definitely want to have a cute daughter like Jenny in the future." Aditya looked at Rin and said in a suggestive way. "Don't look at me like that. I cannot decide what I will give birth to." "So you agree to have my child!!" "Aditya.....!!!!" She was flustered. "Hahaha!!!!" Ignoring her weak punches, he continued to laugh at her. "Now it's time for us to return home." Holding her hand, Aditya flew off to the sky. Thus, ending the journey of the two Divine Dragons that once came to this tiny Pocket Dimension. ----------------
