But while the situation continued to keep him wary for up until dinner, Hoitsu's own concerns started to slowly fade away the more he actually enjoyed the amusing sessions spent together with the excited blonde.

A couple of hours flied quickly for both and soon enough it was time for them to enjoy some dinner together with the rest of the guests and the matriarch of the house.

From there some interesting dynamics were roused by Kunou's closeness to her mother, the girl eagerly telling about how both her and the masked young man had spent the little time before joining them for dinner.

The woman was immensely entertained by the overly-sugarish words used by her child to narrate these events, sometimes quickly stealing some teasing looks at the awkward-looking Hekishoku as to verify the truthfulness of those matters.

There were some quiet and curt snorts coming from Sougyoku, mostly about these few times where his partner would have to deal with the attention coming from the voluptuous blonde.

Baraqiel didn't restrain himself with his reactions, chuckling in clear amusement over the situation of his newest apprentice.

The dinner was a traditional Japanese one that dragged for a solid hour.

Various Yokai that served under Yasaka were moving quickly around the room and providing to the guests and the owners of the palace various dishes prepared by the chefs employed by the lady.

Two batches of Sake were served, one reserved for humans and one meant to be taken by Yokais or other beings with a stronger alcoholic resilience.

Kunou was the only one that was forbidden from even coming too close to the beverage, but instead of making a fuss about it, the blonde merely pouted at the fact she was still too young for that.

Still, she looked fairly surprised when Hoitsu took just a small glass of the alcohol, the young man well-aware to not thread into the messes that the Sake could bring to him if he wasn't careful enough with it.

The same wasn't for the Fallen Angel, with the bulky man ending up actually falling asleep at the table much to a certain Lucifer's discomfort as Sougyoku ended up being the one having to drag his teacher back to his room once dinner was over.

With the servants returning to properly take the empty plates away, Hoitsu prepared to move to the door and walk back to his room for some early sleep-

"Hekishoku-kun, a moment."

The young man stopped by opening the half-closed door, turning to stare at Yasaka while the woman held close a sleepy-looking Kunou.

"Since you're going to spend the night there, I wish that you're aware that you could try and get a Blessing from Tsukuyomi-sama," The gorgeous woman commented quietly, a small smile playing on her lovely features.

"A Blessing from… Tsukuyomi-sama?" The brunet inquired with a noticeable amount of confusion over this very notion.

It was the first time he had heard about such thing and, while it sounded interesting, perhaps it was for the best to not try anything too serious with the Japanese deities just yet-

"It's a simple ritual that both Kunou and I would try out twice a week," The Kitsune explained with a kind tone.

"By spending from half an hour to a full one by the bathhouse by midnight, we would receive a luck-based boon.

The bathhouse themselves were a gift of Tsukuyomi-sama and she was quite adamant in saying that those are meant to bring joy and prosperity to my family."

Hekishoku blinked with some surprise at that explanation, nodding at her positively.

"That sounds quite a lovely thing," He admitted with a hum. "But shouldn't this just be limited to your family, Yasaka-sama?"

"Not truly. I'm aware that while Tsukuyomi-sama had mentioned 'my family', he had also brought up the fact that I could offer this chance to some people I consider trustworthy,"

Yasaka replied calmly. "I wish for you to at least consider trying it, especially with how… interesting your luck has proven to be in recent events."

That was a fair point, the young man mumbled within his mind.

"I will consider it, Yasaka-sama," The brunet confirmed with another nod, gaining a giggle from the woman as he prepared to leave.

"And Hekishoku-kun," The woman spoke again, stopping him with just a step out of the room. "Please, refer to me as Yasaka-san."

Nodding one last time, the masked young man retreated away from the room with a curious dilemma being presented on his mind as he focused on reaching back his temporary room.

Meanwhile, Yasaka's smile widened while staring at the endearing calm manifested by Kunou's sleeping form. But in her mind, there was much more than just 'peace' planned to end this interesting day.

Hoitsu was starting to having some regrets for conceding to the fact that some blessing to improve his lucks would only be a positive thing to try out for, especially with Yasaka's explicit consent to let him try the bathhouse within the palace.

The first issue that was even now putting him in a state of ever-so growing embarrassment was that he hadn't packed any swimsuit for the occasion.

Since he hadn't planned to visit Kyoto's beaches during his stay here in the former Imperial Capital, the young man just didn't have any reason to pack some for any eventuality and so he was supposed to deal with quite the awkward circumstance that was staying at the Onsen without much of a cover.

A towel can do just so much to cover someone's private parts.

Yet, this deterring element didn't stop his determination from pushing him to try and obtain some blessing from what was going to be quite the embarrassing situation to deal with.
