"GeGe!"

 

She silently screams his name, holding onto the child's shoulders then separates one of her hands and raises the child's bangs. Studying her eyes, they were dull yet the luminous light inside her eyes couldn't be hidden.

 

She caresses her face, feeling the rather rough skin that wasn't fit for such a small child. Her anger rose knowing one of her kind was treated this way.

 

No. She's being too biased. Every child no matter what species doesn't deserve this treatment. Wait. She was informed not every world is the same as hers. Is there perhaps another Elaxian like her in this world? No. Based on Aria's memories, there was no such thing as another intellectual race besides humans and demons...

 

Is this child perhaps...

 

Maybe...

 

From her side, a small child was formed, grumbling, but quickly flew to her side. Once his eyes were set on the child, it quickly turns to chaos, his pupils shrinking and twirling before coming back to normal after a few seconds.

 

[Woah! What luck! Especially on your first mission!]

 

"What? What is it?"

 

Arianna looks behind her to check on Marcos who was still leaning against the wall, oblivious to what was going on between her and GeGe. She glares at him signaling him to inform her what he found out immediately.

 

GeGe grins as he places his small chubby palm atop the child's head. He reached out his other hand and gestured for her to hold his hand. Arianna frowns at his actions but to find out what he found out; she would follow whatever he told her.

 

As she grasps his hand, she felt nauseas, nearly falling to the ground but held her ground. A form slowly forms in her head.

 

A girl who didn't appear to be older than 12 stood proudly with golden lightning strikes surrounding her. Her large sword too big for her body was raised with ease.

 

Her short red fury hair was pulled into a small ponytail as a huge grin spread across her face. Her golden eyes sparks like when a furious lightning strikes.

 

Arianna couldn't help but feel her eyes tear up.

 

"Teresa..."

 

The girl, Teresa, flinches and stood in a stance.

 

Arianna hurriedly grasps Teresa in place and glances at GeGe. He smiles while pointing at the girl and disappeared. Slowly, Teresa who nearly went on a rampage calmed down.

 

She sighs in relief and places her down gently. Staring down at the chains, she felt disgust.

 

Footsteps could be heard from behind her which she quickly guessed to be Marcos.

 

"Have you finished?"

 

Without turning her head, she nods. She knows this is considered as disrespectful, but she fears if she were to look at him now, she wouldn't know how to stop the glare that might fall upon him.

 

She clenches her fists, unsure what to do with Teresa's situation. For now, she at least knows that her soul was trapped in this body, yet she isn't sure if she has her memories intact or not.

 

She got up from her kneeling position and walks away from the room without glancing at Marcos.

Swinging her legs, Arianna lays atop her bed in a daze. She couldn’t help but squeeze the pillow as she fell into a deep thought.

 

‘How do I convince him?’

 

She's unsure what would convince the Duke without being exposed. She can effortlessly control his mind and fabricate his memories and permit her to take care of Teresa. But fabricating memories isn't easy due to the people he interacts with.

 

And this body is limiting her range of power. After all, she can’t ignore the knights, family, or friends that he is surrounded with. If it were to be found out he released a mad prison he was personally ordered by the royal family...

 

She shook her head. That man's loyalty shows no bound when it comes to the crown prince. She feared for Aria's future if she were to return.

 

Mind Control.

 

That was her power as an Elaxian. It might sound invincible, but it isn’t all great. She had herself restrained after she tried on a servant once in this world. She felt a splitting headache 24/7 and recovered only after a weak. Thankfully the body can resist pain due to enduring horrible torture as a slave.

 

She can play with the memories and add new ones. But she would need to also change the people they are around and the environment as well so it can be seemed genuine than rather as a hallucination.

 

“If only Sandra and Alexander were around…”

 

The trio were undefeatable due to their power combined to be powerful. Sandra in being able to control the environment and Alexander in being able to inform us and tell us what to do with his enchanted intelligence and able to access information of people's lives whether its fabricated or not.

 

Thir drawbacks is that their eyes would shine when their power is being activated. Without covering their eyes, they would be vulnerable, and their weakness would be known and taken advantage of. After all, if the activation were to be interrupted, they would go mad.

 

Arianna believes that’s what exactly happened to Teresa which led her to that state. Even if she were to fix the problem, given to her position and her past deeds in this world, it will be challenging to convince that she isn't a threat. Who would've thought a young child like her was a war beast from an enemy territory.

 

The solution to her madness was quite simple. If they were to be by their fellow kind for at least a few weeks and by their side, they would return to normal. It might be complicated due to their needs like using the restroom in their everyday life and other things, the only requirements are they need to be within a radius of 5 meters. That’s how Elaxian work. They are more focused mentally rather than physically.

 

But how can she reach that step without being suspicious?

 

She bet her lips in frustration. She jumps from her bed and throws the pillow aside.

 

She will just try whatever she can and play her cards without being suspicious. It’s risky but she’s fine once she completes the client’s request. Then she will be able to stay in this world for a little longer to solve Teresa’s madness and then figure out how to retain her sister’s soul.

 

“Now that I think about it…”

 

She silently mumbles as she gazes out the window of her room.

 

“If Teresa is here, then what about her twin?”
