Chapter 3: A Small Chat.

*Erika’s POV*

Ah, you didn’t miss anything, don’t worry. Honestly, we have been in a stalemate for a while now…

How long? Damn near an entire hour of silence… I had already figured out what I wanted to talk about but, I was waiting for one of them to talk first. I’ve already gone through like five cups of tea so far… It was a wonder why none of us had to use the restroom yet...

Erika: “You three’s new halo’s are really pretty!” I say with a warm tone.

Victoria: “Thanks!” She said with a smile.

Sofiel: “Right? I really feel like an angel now!” Sofiel said with a proud tone.

It’s a little weird hearing the ruler of all Angels say that… Before, it was a little hard to take any of them seriously. Not that I didn’t respect them, just that hearing what their race was, wasn’t really that believable.

Now that they have halo’s, I truly understand that everything I’ve seen is real. And they’re what they say they are.

Alice: “Yes, they’re quite interesting, speaking of that, what exactly did you do to cause this?” Alice asked with a questioning tone.

Erika: “What do you mean?” I ask with a head tilt.

What was that saying? Using your beauty to your advantage? I might not understand why but, if me acting cute like this is enough to make, the Queen of Angels, A Demon Goddess, and a Creator, blush like young girls then, I’ll use it to my advantage from now on.

I mean, even Nadia got entranced by my head tilt… What is this magic? If it is, surely I should use it to my advantage.

Alice: “Head tilt… Uh… right, the first evolution of ours happened because you made an ancient god, Avicia, a Dark Savior. The going theory on why Sofiel was also affected, was because she had marked you.” Alice said with a thinking pose.

Victoria: “The second evolution was what gave us these halo’s.” Victoria said with a chuckle.

Sofiel: “We have no idea what caused it but, we assume it was something that you did, right?” Sofiel said with a raised eyebrow.

Erika: “I’ll tell you but, just don’t get mad at me.” I say with a nervous tone.

Victoria: “We won’t, don’t worry.” Victoria said with a warm tone.

Really? I doubt that. They don't really have a good track record so far...

Erika: “Okay fine… So, I was really bored, and because of that, I had decided to eat an F Grade Monster Core…” I say while not being able to look them in the eyes.

They didn’t respond… Sofiel and Victoria both looked at Alice. Alice then got up from her seat and grabbed me by my shoulders with her hands.

She stared at my chest for five minutes… I assume that she was actually just looking at my soul rather than staring at my breasts…

Alice: “Don’t worry everyone, she is completely fine.” Alice said with a sigh.

Ah, if a Creator says that I am fine, then I am surely completely okay. That’s good. I was worried that I greatly fucked up. Sure, it hurt, but since it only hurt in that moment, and didn’t have any lasting negative side effects, I’d say it all worked out in the end.

Erika: “Avicia did say that I could have died from eating a Monster Core…” I say with a nervous tone.

Alice: “Should! Not could! You should have died from that! As to why you didn’t, none of us fucking knows why!” Alice said with a fed-up tone after lightly bopping me on the head.

Her hand felt really nice… Oh god… Was Lilith right about me being a pervert?… I am truly glad that none of them can read my mind…

Victoria: “Alice, calm down. Erika, what happened after you ate the Monster Core? Were you perfectly fine?” Victoria asked with a serious tone.

Erika: “It tasted like candy, but when I swallowed it, I spat up a lot of blood. When I checked my health, it was going down very slowly.” I answer with a serious tone.

Alice: “Any other changes? Although its more powerful, I don’t see any changes in your soul other than that.” Alice said with a sigh after she sat back down on her seat.

Erika: “My race changed. The System says that I’m part Demon, part Human, and part Angel.” I say with one of my hands on my chin.

Victoria: “…”

Alice: “…”

Sofiel: “What I understand about this is, Victoria and I have a leg up over Alice.” Sofiel said with a smug tone.

Erika: “Why’s that exactly?” I ask with another head tilt.

Sofiel: “Oh god… You all, Erika figured out how cute she is, and she is now using it to her advantage…” Sofiel said with a shocked tone.

Erika: “That’s right.” I say with a smug tone.

Sofiel: “At least deny it!” Sofiel said with a pout.

Why? Can't cute girls get away with anything? I've even gotten away with murder!... Let's stop these evil thoughts from now on…

Victoria: “She meant that Sofiel and I are both a part of you since, you are now part of our races.” Victoria said with a sigh.

Erika: “Is that bad?” I ask with a nervous tone.

Alice: “It is rare for someone to be more than one race, having three is completely unheard of.” Alice said with a concerned tone.

Erika: “I feel fine. So I doubt that it will be a problem.” I say with a shrug.

Sofiel: “That ability you have to just go with the flow, is why you end up doing stupid things. Like, I don’t know, eat a Monster Core, seduce an ancient Goddess, etc.” Sofiel said with a cheeky tone.

Erika: “Hey! I’ve done no seducing whatsoever.” I say with a pout.

This was the first time I’ve ever used such a reaction on purpose. It was clearly effective, if not as effective as my head tilts.

No wonder people get lost in such attention. I just want them to look at me more and more… This is dangerous… I have to make sure to never use social media. Like, ever…

Erika: “Oh right. Nadia, what happened to Sachael?” I ask with a calm tone.

Sachael is a very cheerful girl. I was surprised that I haven’t seen her yet. Normally, she would greet me every morning. When she wasn’t busy trying to entertain herself, that is.

Nadia: “Erika, do not be alarmed. Miss Sachael is currently in a deep sleep.” Nadia said with a remorseful tone.

Erika: “Hm? What do you mean exactly?” I ask with a questioning tone.

Alice: “The most simple answer is, she just got too bored.” Alice answered with a sigh.

Erika: “…”

Um… Creator girl? I’m gonna need a better explanation than that…

Alice: “Okay fine. I’ll give you a better explanation. She just ran out of things to do, so she put herself in a coma.” Alice said while rubbing her head.

Huh? And is that just a normal thing to do? Oh yeah, I’ve ran out of games to play, so I am just going to put myself in a coma. NOT! Why would she even chose to do that?…

Erika: “She put herself into a coma? But why?” I ask with a confused tone.

Victoria: “The problem of immortality. She ran out of things to do in this dimension. So she couldn’t take it any longer. Keep in mind, you have been gone for over a hundred years.” Victoria said with a sad tone.

Ah, that’s right. I completely forgot about that… No wonder she got bored.

Sofiel: “A lot of Victoria’s lovers are also thinking the same thing. But don’t worry! Alice has a plan to solve this problem!” Sofiel said with an excited tone.

Erika: “What kind of plan?” I ask with an unintentional head tilt.

Erika: “Hm? Why not just make one?” I ask with a confused tone.

Erika: “Take over a dimension? I thought that we didn’t do that?” I ask with a concerned tone.

Victoria: “Usually we don’t, but this is an emergency. I can’t stand to watch my lovers suffer so much, this environment has even affected you Erika.” Victoria said with a sad tone.

Has it? I mean, yeah, I’ve gotten bored of it… And I was only leaving here for not that long…

Alice: “Don’t worry, Erika, we won’t make you take over a dimension that is already being controlled. Just find an uncontested one, complete all of the tasks, then call us over and we’ll make it our new home base.” Alice said with a calm tone.

That doesn’t sound so bad… But wait, how can I contact them when I’m done?

Victoria: “Erika, seeing you confused, is quite cute. Just make a guild with us.” Victoria said with a laugh.

Erika: “A guild? I’m guessing that it’s like a party, right?” I ask with a thinking pose.

Sofiel: “Correct. Once we all join the same guild, we can see each others complete Statuses as well as send each other messages.” Sofiel said with an excited tone.

Erika: “Lilith, would that be a problem?” I ask in my head.

Lilith: “If by problem you mean revealing each other’s secrets then no. Only you can access hidden information because of your Tester Title. It should be fine. Just do it already!” Lilith said with a fed-up tone.

Huh? Lilith seemed to be angry about something. Which is weird, I’ve barely seen her show her real emotions. She seems to be the type of person who hides her emotions behind being a jokester.

Erika: “Lilith? What’s wrong? Are you okay? You sound upset…” I ask with a concerned tone.

Lilith: “Ah… don’t worry about it. I’m just pouty because you solved that whole, them wanting to kill Avicia thing, with ease.” Lilith said with a sigh.

Erika: “Why does that upset you?” I ask with a questioning tone.

Lilith: “Jealousy. Who wouldn’t want powerful lovers who would just change their minds as long as you said the word?” Lilith said with a dismissive chuckle.

I mean, I do understand what she is saying. I think that even I would be jealous if I saw such a thing. Good thing that this is happening to me, and not some other person that I know. Though, I can imagine how Lilith feels.

Erika: “I see… I’m sure that you will find a lover like that someday.” I say with a laugh.

Lilith: “Maybe… Anyway, I already set up the guild for you, just accept the prompt that will show up.” Lilith said with a sigh.

Like she said, a prompt showed up in front of me. A name was already input. It wasn't a bad name so, I didn't change it. Thankfully, Lilith didn't play a prank on me and name it something stupid.

Erika: “Yes.” I say in my head.

Erika: “Yes.” I reply again.

After a small flash, I could now see their HP and MP on the top left of my field of vision. I was worried about immediately peeping at their Statuses but, it looks like they all had the same idea.

Since they were obviously doing it, why shouldn’t I? In my defense, I could just say that they corrupted my pure soul. Ignore me being a soldier in my past life, I was but an innocent girl before I met them. Man, that isn’t even convincing in my own head…

Back to the peeping, the first I looked at was Sofiel’s Status. I did look at hers once before. But it has been a long time so, I'm still interested in seeing what her status is like.

I guess they figured that since they evolved, which is something they shouldn’t be able to do, they also thought that they could increase their Luck Stat.

Like me, it looks like they have finished peeping at each other’s Statuses.

Victoria: “So that’s your Status… I see. Erika, no wonder you completed your first dimension with ease.” Victoria said with a laugh.

Erika: “Wait a minute, my Status only got to that point when I got to Avicia’s dimension. Before she put me under her spell. I didn’t lie, I really did get lucky back then.” I say with a pout.

Victoria: “Ah, I see… sorry. I didn’t mean to devalue your efforts or imply that you lied. I was just hoping that there was an easy answer to how you have managed to do so many crazy things.” Victoria said with another laugh.

Alice: “Even so, not counting the years where you were under Avicia’s spell, the fact that you’re this strong is extremely impressive.” Alice said with a proud tone.

Alice: "As for us not having last names, we also don't know why." Alice said with a shrug.

Erika: “Really? I would have assumed that you’d get the last name of the person you married.” I say with a thinking pose.

Victoria: “Oddly, I did have a last name many years back. Though, no matter what we tried, we can’t get last names on our Status.” Victoria explained.

Lilith: “Erika, it’s because the System sees them as powerful.” Lilith said.

Erika: “Why would that matter?” I ask.

Lilith: “A family name is something that gives power. Though, it’s power that they wouldn’t benefit from. Which is why they don’t have last names.” Lilith answered.

After that exchange, we talked about a lot of things. This went on for many hours. Actually, that’s a lie. It went on for almost an entire day. About fifteen hours. Nadia was the one the to call it for the night.

Nadia: “Everyone, I think that we should let Lady Erika rest now.” Nadia said with a sigh.

Victoria: “Hm? We haven’t been talking for that long, right?” Victoria asked with a confused tone.

Alice: “We’ve been talking for over fifteen hours.” Alice said with a laugh.

Sofiel: “Aww… I want to talk with Erika longer, though.” Sofiel said with a sad tone.

Nadia: “Too bad! She needs to rest.” Nadia said with a stern tone.

Oh right, I forgot that she controls this house… It’s kinda hot how she can get such strong beings as these three to go along with what she says. Again, reminder to never mess with Nadia or make her mad…

Nadia: “Lady Erika, I’ll get them to leave, please just rest for now. Do you have any plans for tomorrow?” Nadia asked with a warm tone.

Erika: “Hm? Thanks for that, and tomorrow, I was going to go to a modern dimension as per Alice’s and Victoria’s request.” I say with a calm tone.

Nadia: “…”

Alice: “…”

Victoria: “Nadia… would locking Erika up, and throwing away the key work? Or would she just easily escape?” Victoria asked with a fed-up tone.

Nadia: “With her strength, and her ability to go to different dimensions, she could easily escape. Unfortunately, she is a workaholic.” Nadia said with a sigh while rubbing her head.

Well, sure, I was held captive for a long time but, clearly that was just resting, right? I haven’t done any work in over a hundred years, I am getting too antsy… I need to do some work.

Also, would you all really imprison someone who just got out of wrongful imprisonment? Surely not. I know that you girls are better than that. I say to no one.

Alice: “Is there any way for us to convince you to take a break?” Alice asked with a concerned tone.

Erika: “I’ll take a long break when we finish taking over a modern dimension.” I reply with a smile.

I could take a break now but, even though I do have some luxuries from a modern dimension here in this room, messing around with them, I found out that most of them have dead batteries. There was no electricity here anyway. Plus no Internet access.

It seems that Sofiel brought these things to my room without realizing that they require a power source…

Speaking of that cute angel, I want to go on a date with Sofiel, but in a modern dimension. A date like that would be so much fun. I’m sure that she would enjoy it as well.

Nadia: “Fine… Lady Erika, you can leave, but not tomorrow morning.” Nadia said with a stern voice. Scary…

Erika: “Huh? Why not?” I ask with a head tilt.

Nadia: “Head tilting is cheating Lady Erika. First, you have to relax with a massage and a decent meal. I’d feel bad about letting you leave without doing the bare minimum of pampering that you deserve.” Nadia said with a serious tone.

Erika: “Okay, that sounds good, thanks!” I say with a bright smile.

After that, Nadia escorted the three problem children, who were begging for more time with me, out of my room. Didn’t she say that they would act mature now? Maybe it’s a learning process…

The first thing I did was lay on my bed. I ran away last time so, I did not have the chance to fully appreciate how amazing this bed is.

It was a cloud! That’s how it felt… It was also magic? The bed regulated its temperature perfectly. It is neither too hot nor too cold. The pillows did the same as well.

The bed also had a relaxing fragrance to it. All of that combined was enough to make me instantly fall asleep despite my best efforts not to…
