Exorcist of the American Nightmares

Chapter 322: Chapter 322: In Progress

Buzz!

A Lamborghini pulled into the garage, as the automatic sensor-triggered shutter door slowly closed.

Not long after parting with the excited Kurt, York stepped out of the car, glancing back at the flamboyant Lamborghini and shook his head.

"Muscle cars are indeed more comfortable."

Complaining, York walked towards the interior. His mind wandered, and a virtual window, visible only to him, automatically appeared.

He skipped other attributes, focusing on the mana.

Ever since his spirit/sacred power broke the three hundred mark, he had shifted his attribute points to mana.

With one month's accumulation in the real world, plus nine months here.

He had amassed a total of one hundred forty-eight attribute points.

Thus, his current mana was at 364 points.

Three hundred sixty-four times—a significant figure.

"It's full again…"

York narrowed his eyes and, using a 3D model, directly enchanted the contents of a backpack stored in a secret cabinet.

He spent the newly replenished three hundred sixty-four mana points in one go.

The item in the backpack was a familiar one, twenty kilograms of homemade C4 explosives shaped with black iron.

Day and night, he enchanted it every five hours. Now, this twenty-kilogram pack of C4 had significantly increased in potency.

Twenty kilograms multiplied by three hundred sixty-four equals six thousand nine hundred eighty kilograms, equivalent to seven tons.

Thus, this seemingly twenty-kilogram pack of C4 had an explosive force equivalent to seven tons, and this was just a single enchantment.

"An month and a half of preparation, and now it seems like the explosive power is about one thousand five hundred seventy-two tons."

York estimated the actual power of the explosives in his mind and instantly calculated the actual force.

This was just the inherent power of the C4 itself. If one were to use the world's TNT equivalent for a baseline, this pack actually had a two thousand ton explosive force.

Of course, there are stronger explosives known to mankind.

But this was merely a property of mana. The twenty-kilogram C4 bomb's enhanced explosion was all due to mana, and the power contained couldn't be directly compared.

He used the TNT equivalent just as a baseline to gauge the power, though the two weren't really the same.

"Calling it a two thousand ton mana bomb might be more apt, so it should be effective against the titans underground."

For safety, York added a sacred enchantment to the inherently magical C4, layering it with holy energy.

"Really starting to feel like a terrorist."

With a sigh, York disappeared from the garage.

And so, day after day passed.

When the C4 reached an explosive force of three thousand seven hundred tons.

The Cornell holiday season finally arrived.

During this period, York nearly decided to raid a cabin in the woods but feared disrupting the management bureau's setup.

So, he finally waited for this moment.

Now, apart from the students who chose to stay on campus, some went home, while others, like Kurt and other movie protagonists, went out to relax and unwind.

As a wealthy professor, he had provided a small RV with nothing in it and some food supplies for the outing.

This excited Kurt and his protagonist group.

On a sunny day.

In a room.

Dana, dressed only in white underwear and a crop top revealing her belly button, was packing clothes for the outing while gazing out the window.

Due to the nearby Cornell University holiday, the streets were bustling with pedestrians and some traffic.

But her gaze settled on a small RV parked by the roadside and eventually shifted to the man leaning against the vehicle.

The man, in loose casual wear, exuded an intense sense of strength.

Handsome, exuding an overwhelming sense of security

"Ah…"

Dana sighed and resumed packing, shoving her underwear and clothes back into the backpack on the bed, about to zip it up, but couldn't help cursing under her breath.

"Stubborn as a rock, you stinky man! I've been chasing you for so long! Even using my body to seduce you, and you show no reaction!"

Recalling the past, Dana felt slightly broken. She looked down at herself, doubting.

"Could it be that I'm too small?"

"Hey!"

Before Dana could continue doubting herself, she was distracted by a noise nearby and instinctively looked over.

Julie, dressed to kill, revealing her cleavage and confidently displaying her charm, ran over excitedly.

"Hurry! The professor's car is here!"

However, Dana's attention was fixated on Julie's chest, ultimately zipping up tightly in resignation, grabbing the jeans on the bed, and sitting down to put them on while saying,

"I saw it long ago."

As Dana glanced at Julie.

"By the way, Julie, did you do something?"

Julie grinned, swinging her hair with both hands.

"Oh, it seems to have gotten brighter." Dana stood

up, zipped up her jeans, and buttoned up.

"I can't believe you went this far."

Julie chuckled, leaning in, exuding youthful charm.

"Actually, it's pretty good, right? Quick, I need your praise!"

Her arm pulled up, Dana nodded in agreement.

"Fantastic, I think Kurt would love it. Speaking of which, how long are you planning to keep him hanging?"

Julie coughed awkwardly, her expression flashing with embarrassment.

"I told you, I don't like him."

Dana tilted her head, looking at Julie: "Hmm? Could it be you like someone else? Horton? Marty?"

Hearing these names, Julie shook her head vigorously: "I don't like anyone."

"..."

This conversation was all overheard by York, leaning against the car door, who couldn't help but shake his head and chuckle.

"Should I say sisterly love, or plastic besties?"

Just then, sensing something, York looked up.

A greeting sounded: "Professor York."

A car passed by and stopped in front of him.

Marty, sitting inside with a long thermos on his chest.

Unbeknownst to others, it was disguised as a chimney, but York knew it was a cigarette holder.

"Smoke less, Marty."

As a nominal professor, York naturally had the authority to speak.

Marty's face showed compliance, and he sincerely said, "Okay, professor, I definitely won't let it appear in front of you,

I'll go park now."

York casually waved his hand, indifferent to whether his words were true or false, even the fact that a student was driving didn't concern him.

Because this is the land of the free USA, where freedom knows no bounds.

Freedom extended to a disheveled man who seemed like a homeless man stumbling along, bumping into the RV causing a slight noise.

York squinted his eyes out of habit and couldn't help but walk to the front of the car to look.

"Pal, you okay?"

The man's face was filthy, appearing as if he hadn't bathed in years, and a unique smell emanated from him. He looked up at York, shook his head, and continued walking while holding onto the car.

"I'm fine."

Listening to the homeless man's weak response, York stared at a tiny spot on the car's wall, so small it was almost invisible among the colors, and slightly curved his mouth into a smile.
