Fate/Lust break

Chapter 68: Not the best choice

What attacked them was something, non them wanted Specter, ghost like monster which can only be damaged by Light, Morgan used her light spells to take as many done as possible, Mash used her Shield to block the attack of some of them, Kama made many close and Medusa will she relsihes that physical attacks do jack shit, same for Ritsuka.

Ritsuka looked at all of them. "Did we come here too soon"

Da Vinci moved away from another attack. "Yeah my spells can do so much"

Ritsuka then activeted the skill Fairy king. "Let's see... This oneX"

Morgan looked at him Nas screamed. "Ritsuka no"

Ritsuka then Southend out the spell. "Turn undead".

As the blast of holy light from Turn Undead seared through the air, it instantly obliterated the ghostly specters in its path. The creatures let out unearthly shrieks before vanishing into nothingness. But as the light faded, the aftermath became clear—Da Vinci and Morgan, both clearly singed by the radiant energy, winced in pain. Even Mash and Medusa were lightly affected by the unexpected attack, though they were quick to shake it off.

Kama's sharp voice cut through the tension. "Are you nuts, Ritsuka?! Did you seriously forget that Servants are technically 'dead' too?" She gestured to the remaining specters that swirled around them, their eerie forms twisting and reforming. "We're not done yet, and that stunt of yours just made things harder."

Ritsuka clenched his fists in frustration, cursing under his breath. He hadn't thought through the consequences of using such a spell in the heat of battle. "Retrieve," he muttered to himself, acknowledging the need to recover from the mistake.

Morgan, still wincing from the holy light, glared at him. "You need to be more careful with that kind of magic. Your spells can hurt us just as much as the enemy."

Da Vinci, ever the optimist, gave a strained smile as she rubbed her arm. "It's not the worst I've been through, but let's try not to repeat that, alright?"

Ritsuka nodded quickly. "Right. I'll be more cautious. Let's focus on finishing this without blowing each other up."

Kama scoffed, "Yeah, that would be nice."

Mash blocked another incoming specter with her shield, the force of the attack pushing her back slightly. "Senpai, I think we need a different strategy. We can't handle all these specters with just light-based attacks, and it's too risky to use something that harms our allies."

Morgan stepped forward, casting a protective aura around the group to fend off the next wave of attacks. "There's a better way to handle these creatures—use contained holy energy, spells or weapons that won't spread like wildfire." Her eyes flickered as she summoned another spell, one that pulsed with more focused, controlled light. It struck a specter cleanly, dissolving it without any collateral damage. "Like this."

Ritsuka adjusted his stance, considering her advice. "I get it now. No more wide-area holy magic. Let's work together and take them down one at a time."

Medusa, still frustrated by her inability to deal damage to the specters, took a deep breath and focused on protecting the team, keeping the more aggressive spirits at bay. Kama, meanwhile, unleashed controlled bursts of her divine energy, managing to keep most of the specters distracted.

As the group settled into a more coordinated rhythm, they began thinning the specters' numbers. Mash continued to shield the group from direct attacks, while Ritsuka and Morgan used precision strikes to whittle away the enemies. Da Vinci lent support with her gadgets and spells, carefully avoiding anything too destructive after her earlier burns.

The specters' numbers dwindled, but they still moved with eerie speed and tenacity. "There's got to be an end to this," Ritsuka muttered, wiping sweat from his brow. "They can't just keep coming."

As if in answer, the castle suddenly trembled, a deep rumble echoing through the stone walls. The remaining specters paused, as though sensing something.

Da Vinci's eyes widened as she quickly scanned the area. "Uh-oh. That's not a good sign."

Kama tilted her head. "What now? Another wave?"

"No," Morgan answered, her voice grim. "Something worse."

At that moment, the doors at the end of the hall burst open, and the temperature in the room dropped dramatically. From the shadows stepped a figure cloaked in darkness, their presence suffocating and oppressive. It was a powerful entity, exuding an aura far more dangerous than the specters they had been facing.

Ritsuka instinctively raised his weapon, readying himself. "Who—what is that?"

The figure stepped forward, revealing crimson eyes that gleamed in the dim light. "Welcome to my domain," a voice hissed, cold and malevolent. "I see you've dealt with my little pets."

It was clear now—they were standing before the master of this castle, and this fight was far from over.

As then from the sky a crystal Carriage fell from the sky in front of the group, the door swing opened as it shows a white hair woman, white fair skin, white hair and sea blue eyes like Ritsuka.

Next to her was a man, he has white skin and white hair, weairng a colourful outift and gave the vibe of a Musician

Marie grabbed Ritsuka arms dn pushed him in. "Get in now, don't ask questions".

Morgan just jumped and so did Kama and Madusa, Morgan and Mash, to be fair if Morgan was nri damaged she would Singal Handley Handel all of this, but right now especially with these unknown servants are the best ideas

As the Carriages flyer up, as it then flyer for while before landing in forest where is brome it crash landed basically.

As the crystal carriage came to a sudden stop in the forest, Morgan kicked the door open, her frustration evident. "Alright, who was driving this?" She glared at the ethereal horses, their shimmering forms reflecting the moonlight. They seemed unfazed, their eyes glowing softly as they stood still.

Ritsuka, still reeling from the abrupt turn of events, stumbled out after Marie, who had pushed him inside without hesitation. "What just happened?" he asked, glancing around at the unfamiliar surroundings. The forest was dense, with towering trees that seemed to absorb the light, creating an almost dreamlike atmosphere.

Marie, her sea-blue eyes filled with urgency, turned to Ritsuka. "We didn't have time for explanations. That was a trap back there, and we need to regroup and think strategically." She brushed a few loose strands of her white hair behind her ear, her expression fierce.

Next to her, Mozart stepped out, adjusting his colorful attire as he surveyed the area. "And might I add," he began, his voice smooth and melodic, "that the driver could use a lesson in handling carriages. I prefer my entrances with a bit more flair!"

Mash emerged behind Ritsuka, looking relieved to be away from the specters. "Is everyone okay? That was... chaotic."

Kama rolled her eyes, already getting impatient. "We're fine. Just a little shaken up. But what now? We can't stay here forever."

Morgan folded her arms, still annoyed. "Yes, exactly. Can someone please explain what just happened back there? And who are these two?"

Marie glanced at Mozart, who shrugged with a grin. "I suppose introductions are in order. I am Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and this is Marie—Marie Antoineette, if you please." He gestured flamboyantly towards Marie, who gave him a sidelong glance.

Ritsuka felt a jolt of recognition at the name. "Marie Antoinette? As in the queen from history?"

Marie nodded, a faint smile playing on her lips. "Yes, though I am more than just a historical figure. I am a Servant now, here to aid you in your quest. The carriage was my idea; I thought it would be the best way to get us out of that situation."

"Very noble of you," Morgan said, still a bit skeptical. "But why the sudden rescue? What do you know about what's going on?"

Mozart stepped forward, his demeanor shifting to a more serious tone. "What you encountered back there was merely a distraction. The true threat is still looming in the shadows, and I suspect that your battle has just begun."

Kama's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean? We handled those specters, didn't we?"

"Handled, yes, but with the right touch, you might have achieved more," Mozart replied, waving a hand dramatically. "The darkness you faced is a mere puppet. The master behind it is far more dangerous."

Marie frowned, looking around as if she could sense something lurking just beyond the trees. "We need to prepare ourselves. The creature that confronted you was no ordinary specter; it was an envoy. They are searching for something, and I fear it may involve all of us."

Ritsuka clenched his fists, feeling the weight of their mission pressing down on him. "What do we need to do?"

Mozart smiled, the corner of his mouth twitching as if he were about to launch into a grandiose aria. "We must gather our strength and learn to fight together. Music, after all, is best when everyone plays their part."

Marie nodded. "Let's find a safe place to strategize. We need to determine our next move and uncover the identity of the true enemy before they strike again."

With that, the group began to move deeper into the forest, the eerie sounds of the night surrounding them. Ritsuka felt a renewed sense of purpose as he walked alongside Marie and Mozart, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

Ritsuka then looked at Marie. "You know we were talking about".

Marie blushed as she looked at him. "Oh someone as handsome as you was talking about me"

Ritsuka just looked at her. "Um yeah it was not good we were talking about um how you can be summoned as alter servants"

Marie looked taken aback, her expression shifting from flattered to contemplative. "Oh… is that how you really feel?"

Ritsuka felt a bit of embarrassment wash over him. "I didn't mean to make it sound like that. It's just that Alter servants are often different versions of the originals, sometimes with a darker twist. I wasn't implying anything about you specifically."

Marie frowned, her sea-blue eyes searching his face for sincerity. "I understand. But it does hurt to think that I might become something else, a shadow of myself. I don't want to lose who I am."

Ritsuka's heart softened at her vulnerability. "Marie, I'm sure you wouldn't lose yourself. You're strong, and I believe in you. Alter servants can still retain their core identity, right? It's just… a different version. It's like a reflection under a different light."

Marie took a deep breath, her cheeks still flushed. "You really think so?"

He nodded earnestly. "I do. Besides, even if an Alter version were summoned, I'd fight for you to make sure you remain the true Marie Antoinette—the one who stands up for what she believes in."

Mozart, who had been observing their exchange with a bemused expression, chimed in with a teasing smile. "Ah, a valiant knight for the queen! How romantic! But remember, Ritsuka, every performance has its highs and lows. It's the dynamics that create a masterpiece."

Marie smiled shyly, the tension easing a bit. "Thank you, Ritsuka. That means a lot."

Just then, Kama interjected, crossing her arms with a smirk. "Well, if it makes you feel any better, I think you'd be a fantastic Alter Servant. You'd just be a more chaotic version of yourself, throwing cake at everyone instead of parties."

Marie chuckled despite herself. "As tempting as that sounds, I'd rather keep the parties and the cake intact. But perhaps I can still be a force of good in this world."

Ritsuka felt a renewed energy among the group, the weight of their earlier encounter beginning to lift. "We'll figure it out together. We can't let fear dictate who we are or what we become."

As they moved deeper into the forest, the atmosphere shifted slightly, the shadows growing longer but not necessarily darker. Ritsuka felt a sense of camaraderie with his newfound allies, each of them a piece of the larger puzzle that needed solving.

"Alright," he declared, his voice steady. "Let's find a safe place to rest and plan our next move. We'll take this one step at a time."

With a shared sense of determination, the group forged ahead, ready to face the challenges that lay ahead. Ritsuka couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning, and whatever awaited them would test not only their strength but their bonds as well.
