Chapter 92: United Roman Empire

Ritsuka then stopped walking, as the group went as he saw the shadows moved as then for a split second he saw red eyes then moving blond hair as then it moved away.

Ritsuka moved his head, wondering if he saw something more, as they walked the city seemed more lively where they were was probably the military section, maybe that why the place was like that in the back.

Ritsuka just looked at the sky. "Why, do I fell I will meet her again".

His mind rember to Singularty and when he first meet Draco or will as she called her self Infront of himself 666, they ran as then they saw entirely different army as they were being led by someone.

Dr Romani holographic image the camera up. "Um guys that is a servant, he seems like a servant".

Ritsuka looked at the man. "He is fat, and seemed to Roman".

The man spoke as he looked at the group. "The United Roman Empire is here, we are ready for this".

Ritsuka then summoned Arrows if the heart, bite fire lighting on tip of the arrows. "Ah shit, here we go with they guy".

The man's presence exuded authority and arrogance, his armor shining unnaturally bright under the Roman sun. Despite his bulk, he carried himself with an air of importance. Behind him stood a disciplined army, their ranks unnervingly precise, as though they were puppets waiting for their master's command.

Mash raised her shield defensively. "Senpai, he's definitely not a normal servant. His mana signature is off the charts."

Dr. Romani adjusted his holographic camera to focus on the man. "If he's fat but Roman, there's a good chance he's Emperor Vitellius, known for his... excessive indulgences. But this is strange—he shouldn't be alive in Nero's era, let alone leading an army like this."

The man raised his hand, silencing the murmurs of his soldiers. "Foolish intruders, you dare to step into the domain of the United Roman Empire? I, Vitellius, blessed by the gods and rightful ruler of Rome, will not tolerate your insolence!"

Kirshtaria narrowed his eyes. "United Roman Empire? That doesn't sound like any timeline we're familiar with."

Jalter sneered, flames igniting around her. "Great. Another pompous fool who thinks he's invincible. Let me burn that arrogance off his face."

Vitellius smirked, seemingly unfazed. "You'll find that my Rome is unlike any other. Witness the power of unity and submission!" With a wave of his hand, his soldiers began to glow with an eerie golden light, their movements now unnaturally synchronized.

Ritsuka stepped forward, his Arrows of the Heart glowing with crackling flames and lightning. "This guy's not going to back down. Everyone, get ready for a fight."

Morgan summoned her blade, its dark aura shimmering ominously. "Stay alert. His mana suggests he has support from a divine authority, but it's unclear which god."

Kama smirked, her bow appearing in her hand. "Divine or not, he's just another obstacle. Let's take him down quickly so we can move on."

Vitellius roared, his voice echoing across the battlefield. "For Rome! Attack!" His soldiers surged forward, their weapons glinting unnaturally under the sunlight.

Mash raised her shield, blocking the first wave of strikes. "Senpai, we'll need to take out the army before we can face him directly!"

Ritsuka nodded, releasing a volley of his flaming, electrified arrows into the ranks. Each arrow exploded on impact, scattering the golden-light-infused soldiers. "Focus on breaking through their formation! Jalter, Kama, Morgan—cover the flanks!"

Jalter let out a wicked laugh as she charged, her flames consuming the soldiers in her path. "Finally, some action! I'll burn them all to ash!"

Elizabeth twirled her spear, singing a haunting tune that sent shockwaves through the enemy lines. "A perfect stage for my performance! Don't fall behind, everyone!"

Kirshtaria unleashed a barrage of magecraft, targeting the golden glow sustaining the soldiers. "If we disrupt whatever's empowering them, their formation will collapse!"

As the battle raged, Ritsuka couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. His eyes darted to the shadows, where he once again caught a glimpse of red eyes and flowing blonde hair before they vanished.

"Her again..." he thought, his grip tightening on his weapon. "Whoever she is, she's not just a bystander."

For now, though, his focus had to remain on the battle at hand.

Kama then remeber something as she sent another arrows flying. "Divine Atority, is that what Morgan said".

Ritsuka looked at her sending his arrows. "Yes why?, oh right your a God".

Kama then created a clone, it went behind him she used her charm skill and it stopped him, then her clone took out something from him and destroyed it as the close desiper as the shoulder feels like puppets.

Kama just smriked. "Yup, that is done".

The battlefield momentarily froze as Kama's clone dissipated, leaving behind only a faint shimmer in the air. The eerie golden light surrounding the soldiers flickered and then extinguished entirely. The once-puppet-like soldiers staggered, confusion overtaking their features as if they had awoken from a dream.

Vitellius, still atop his podium-like chariot, looked on in shock. "What have you done? My power... my soldiers!"

Kama smirked, twirling her staff with a flourish. "You really thought you could fool a goddess? That little trinket of divine authority you were carrying was the only thing holding your army together. Now, it's nothing but dust."

Ritsuka raised an eyebrow, lowering his bow slightly. "Wait, that was it? You just... destroyed his source of power?"

Kama shrugged nonchalantly. "What can I say? I've got experience dealing with divine artifacts. They're always so fragile when you know where to strike."

Morgan, who had been preparing a spell, relaxed her stance but kept her blade at the ready. "You could have mentioned that sooner. It would've saved us the trouble."

Kama rolled her eyes. "Oh, relax. I wanted to see if his so-called 'army' was worth anything. Spoiler alert: it wasn't."

Vitellius, now visibly sweating, clenched his fists. "You dare mock me? I still have my power! I am Vitellius, ruler of the United Roman Empire!"

Mash stepped forward, shield raised. "Senpai, without his army, we should be able to take him down more easily. But stay cautious—he might still have other tricks up his sleeve."

Ritsuka nodded, drawing another arrow infused with flame and lightning. "Everyone, let's finish this."

Jalter grinned maniacally, flames dancing in her hands. "Finally, we can stop playing around. Let's burn this false emperor to the ground."

Vitellius roared in defiance, summoning a massive golden spear from thin air. The air around him shimmered with residual divine energy. "If you think I'll fall so easily, you're gravely mistaken!"

Kama, still smirking, floated next to Ritsuka. "Want me to handle him, or do you feel like showing off?"

Ritsuka grinned, stepping forward. "Let's take him down together. Everyone, let's show him what teamwork really looks like!"

With that, the final confrontation began. Vitellius, stripped of his army but still dangerous, prepared for a desperate last stand against Ritsuka and his team.

Then Morgan came behind him, taking of her Invisibility spell and sight hiding spell, before Vitellius can attack, his head was cut of as then Vitellius head rolled of as then he turned to golden sparkles, as he was sent to back to the throne of hero.

Ritsuka just blinked. "Yeah, this was easy, but I don't think this is the last time we will be seeing people like him, probably more servant summoned".

Jalter looked at him. "So just like me Orleans".

Morgan calmly wiped the blood off her blade, her expression stoic as she looked down at the fading golden sparkles that once made up Vitellius. "If he was their idea of a formidable opponent, they'll need to try harder."

Ritsuka blinked, still processing the sudden end to the battle. "Well, that was... efficient. Thanks, Morgan. Guess we didn't need that teamwork after all."

Morgan turned to him with a faint smirk. "When you see an opportunity to end a fight swiftly, you take it. No need for theatrics."

Jalter crossed her arms, giving Ritsuka a knowing look. "So, just like Orleans. A bunch of servants summoned for some grand plan, but ultimately just pawns." She chuckled darkly. "This is starting to feel like déjà vu."

Kama floated beside Ritsuka, feigning a yawn. "At least this one was easy. I mean, seriously, a divine authority artifact and puppets? That's the best they've got?"

Ritsuka frowned, his instincts telling him otherwise. "It's not that simple. Vitellius was just a test. There's no way this is the extent of their plans. Whoever—or whatever—is behind this Singularity probably has more servants up their sleeve."

Mash lowered her shield, looking thoughtful. "Senpai, if that's true, then we need to stay prepared. This might have been a small skirmish, but the real threat is still out there."

Kirshtaria, who had been quietly observing, nodded in agreement. "Vitellius's presence here suggests there's a deeper manipulation at play. Servants like him don't appear without a reason. Someone—or something—is pulling the strings."

Morgan sheathed her sword, her tone resolute. "Then we move forward. We're here to fix this Singularity, and if more servants stand in our way, they'll meet the same fate as him."

Ritsuka sighed, glancing at the fading sparkles one last time. "Yeah, but let's not underestimate them. If Vitellius was just the start, the next ones might not be as easy to deal with."

Jalter grinned, flames sparking in her hands. "Good. I was starting to get bored."

With the battle over, the group pressed onward, their resolve strengthened. The streets of Rome stretched out before them, vibrant and bustling, but a sense of foreboding lingered in the air. The Singularity's secrets were still hidden, and Ritsuka knew that the true challenge was yet to come.

Nero walked up to him, as there faces was way to close. "Umu, thank for your help, you have some beautiful and very powerful allies by your side". Her eyes then looked at him, admiring his looks. "And your very beautiful as your self".

Ritsuka just looked at her and as he spoke. "Oh so your Guys and Girls".

Nero laughed as she looked at him. "Why, yes was it that easy to find out".

Ritsuka srugged as she spoke to her. "Not really".

As the other was watching this, with may reaction, wait, Mash, Kirshtaria, Morgan, Medusa going ah shit here we go again, Kama giggling, na Elizabeth and Jalter getting jealous

Mash just spoke. "Great, Senpai is flirting with another woman who like him".

Morgan sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Of course. Leave it to him to inadvertently charm a Roman emperor."

Kama floated lazily beside Morgan, giggling. "You say that like it's a bad thing. Nero clearly has good taste." She winked at Ritsuka, who was visibly trying to stay composed under Nero's intense gaze.

Jalter's flames flickered around her hands as she glared. "Tch. First, Orleans. Now this. I'm starting to think every single mission is just Ritsuka gathering another admirer."

Elizabeth huffed, crossing her arms. "Ugh, why does she get to swoon over him? I'm way cuter, and I can sing! I'm practically a star!"

Mash groaned softly, her shield lowered as she muttered under her breath, "Here we go again... Another woman to add to Senpai's ever-growing list of admirers."

Kirshtaria watched the scene unfold with a bemused expression. "I'm starting to wonder if this is a mission or some elaborate romantic drama. Either way, I'll take notes for future reference."

Medusa, on the other hand, quietly whispered, "Why does he always attract the bold ones?"

Ritsuka, feeling the tension in the air, quickly tried to defuse the situation. "Uh, Nero, I really appreciate the compliment, but—"

Nero stepped even closer, her smile widening. "Umu! There's no need to be modest, my dear ally. A ruler must recognize greatness when they see it, and you, Ritsuka, are truly remarkable."

Kama leaned toward Mash, whispering, "Bet you five quartz he ends up accidentally proposing to her by the end of the mission."

Mash turned bright red. "Kama! Don't even joke about that!"

Ritsuka sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Alright, team, let's focus. Nero, thank you for the kind words, but we've got a Singularity to fix."

Nero chuckled, stepping back but maintaining her regal aura. "Very well, my ally. Let us continue. But do not forget, Rome welcomes you with open arms... and so do I, umu!"

As the group moved on, Jalter muttered under her breath, "She's lucky she's an emperor. Otherwise, I'd show her who's really in charge."

Elizabeth nodded emphatically. "Yeah! Me too!"

Kama floated alongside Ritsuka, smirking. "You really do have a talent, darling. I'm almost impressed."

Ritsuka sighed deeply. "Why do I feel like this mission is going to be more exhausting than usual?"

Later that night, as they were relaxing as Nero was gathering her army as she was ready for her battle with the United Roman Empire if there is going to be more

Nero looked at Ritsuka. "So these are your lover's".

As she was looking at Morgan and Kama to Ritsuka right, Mash and Jalter to his left, and Elizabeth seating on his lap, as her tail is rapped around his leg, as Medusa is behind him as Ritsuka is looking at her

Ritsuka looked at her and took a drink of Alcohol. "Well there is more, but yes these are my harem".

Then he saw the the harem system screen.

[ Again you can thank me and Kama ]

It was time like these he was happy, only he, Kama ans Morgan can see they, Morgan was an odd case and it was definitely because of her Fae eyes.

Nero stared at the group, her expression a mix of amusement and curiosity. "Umu, quite the impressive harem you have there, Ritsuka. Each one of them has a unique charm, I must say." Her eyes lingered on Elizabeth, who was still happily seated on his lap with her tail wrapped around his leg, as if she had claimed her spot.

Ritsuka took another sip of his drink, trying to avoid eye contact with the more jealous members of his harem. He chuckled softly, replying, "I wouldn't call it impressive… it's just how things turned out. It's complicated."

Kama, who was lounging lazily next to Morgan, smirked. "He's downplaying it. It's more like he's the accidental leader of a very powerful group. And of course, I had a hand in it." She winked at Ritsuka, clearly enjoying the moment of teasing.

Morgan, sitting calmly next to Kama, raised an eyebrow at the screen. [Again, you can thank me and Kama] it read, and her lips curled into a smirk. Her fae eyes might have allowed her to see things others couldn't, but she didn't mind the hidden commentary. It was almost amusing how Ritsuka's situation never failed to surprise even her.

Elizabeth, who was fully content in her position on Ritsuka's lap, nuzzled into his chest and purred, "Umu! I'm totally comfortable like this, you know." She shot a mischievous glance toward Nero, teasing her in a way that made it clear she wasn't intimidated by the Roman Emperor.

Jalter, who had been standing off to the side, looked slightly annoyed but kept her composure. "So, Nero, you think you can just waltz in here and claim Ritsuka's attention for yourself?" she said with an air of challenge in her voice, clearly feeling protective of her position in Ritsuka's harem.

Ritsuka sighed and rubbed his temples, realizing this conversation was quickly spiraling into one of those awkward, tense moments he'd grown all too familiar with. He wasn't entirely sure how he ended up here, but it wasn't exactly an unpleasant place to be—just complicated.

Nero smiled knowingly, her eyes twinkling. "Oh, I'm not here to cause any trouble, dear Ritsuka. I just wanted to see how your... delightful group of companions operates. It's fascinating." She glanced at Mash, Medusa, and Kirshtaria, each of whom had been quietly observing the conversation.

Mash, who was seated a little farther from the group, spoke up. "We're just... here to help. Ritsuka leads us, but that doesn't mean we're all competing for his attention. We just want to make sure we succeed."

Medusa, her eyes glowing softly as she remained behind Ritsuka, added with a gentle smile, "Indeed. Each of us has our own reasons for following Ritsuka, but that doesn't mean we see each other as rivals."

Nero chuckled at the diplomatic response. "I see, I see. Such harmony, how quaint. But let me assure you, Ritsuka—if anyone's going to take your attention, it's not something that can be avoided easily. Umu!" She grinned mischievously, clearly enjoying the discomfort she was causing.

Ritsuka groaned internally. Why does it always come to this?

Kama, however, seemed quite entertained by the drama unfolding, and whispered to Morgan, "Oh, this is going to be fun. Let's see who cracks first."

The night continued with subtle tensions simmering, but also moments of laughter and camaraderie. The group slowly came to realize that they'd have to balance the dynamics of their harem with the mission at hand. Ritsuka, despite being caught in the middle of all the attention, felt strangely at ease surrounded by his companions, even if things were always more complicated than they seemed.

As the night went on, the conversation shifted back to more practical matters, and the focus turned to Nero's upcoming battle. The group, though still subtly bickering over their positions and affections, understood that the real challenge lay ahead. And perhaps, after all, it was moments like these that made the journey all the more memorable.
