Football: What Happened To Going To The Nightclub? I Have To Score

Chapter 14: Chapter 14 1V3 Burst! You Can't Stop The Goal!

Look! It's that Asian!"

"Can you believe Neuhaus is fielding him at just 16?"

"Well, he's a forward after all!"

"At this point, let's hope for a miracle."

"Agreed!"

The portly fan leader, Uncle Hans, interjected, halting the chatter.

"Since he's on the first team, he deserves our full support!"

"We're the team's strongest backers! Let's make our voices heard!"

"Alright, let's get ready to sing, everyone!"

Boom boom boom!

The spirits at the home team's Old Forest Management Stadium were as low as those on the field.

But when young player No. 39 stepped onto the pitch from the bench, the resonant chants from the diehard north stand reverberated across the stadium!

After all, Union Berlin's team song is by none other than the German "punk godmother" Nina Hagen!

Her songs are inherently catchy and empowering!

"Our love!"

"Our team!"

"Our pride!"

"Our club!"

"Eisern_Union! Eisern_Union! Eisern_Union!"

As Su Luo exchanged high-fives with teammate Silvio and set foot on the field, a deafening roar filled the air!

"When you step onto this field, you feel the raw energy of this stadium!"

When scout Daniel had mentioned it, Su Luo hadn't paid much heed. Twenty thousand people—what could they do?

But now, the 20,000-strong crowd conjured an atmosphere as electrifying as 80,000!

He hadn't felt this charged even during the World Youth Championship!

A surge of power coursed through him, propelling him to his position as if in a hundred-meter dash.

"Oh oh oh oh, it seems our new player is quite pumped! Let's once again give a warm round of applause to our newcomer, No. 39 Su Luo from the Far East!"

The announcer's words resonated as Su Luo stepped onto the field, greeted by pats on the back and high-fives from his teammates.

Though he couldn't remember everyone's names, it didn't stop them from embracing him as one of their own!

This camaraderie surpassed anything he'd experienced with Guoqing or Evergrande.

Back then, teammates were colleagues; here, on this green pitch, they were comrades-in-arms.

This was war!

Beep

The referee's whistle marked the game's resumption!

Su Luo had less than 10 minutes left!

Union Berlin trailed 0-2 at home!

"Let's give it our all!"

At this moment, Su Luo had forgotten his bet with Coach Neuhaus.

His sole focus was on the opponent's goal!

...

As play resumed, the visiting team held firm in the 30-meter zone.

Union Berlin continued probing midfield, seeking openings.

Su Luo positioned himself on the left flank but was promptly met by Tim Kiester, the towering opponent's central defender.

Su Luo struggled to hold his ground, nearly knocked off balance.

"Hey kid, go back to the youth team; the first team's too much for you."

"Haha, Tim, you're a bully!"

Laughter echoed as Su Luo attempted to break free.

Meanwhile, Sandhausen's coach, Schwartz, relaxed.

"Look at that, they've got a kid in place of a striker."

"He's a top scorer in the youth league," the assistant coach countered, concerned.

"The youth league means nothing compared to the first team."

Unperturbed, Schwartz returned to his seat, leisurely opening a bottle of water.

But just as he took a sip, the game took a sudden turn!

Union Berlin's playmaker, Martin Dutch, spotted Su Luo's gesture for a straight run.

"Reckless kid, daring to challenge us?"

Unfazed by a tight marking defender and a midfielder nearby, Su Luo signaled to Dutch to play the ball.

Trusting in Su Luo's abilities, Dutch obliged, threading a precise pass.

"Ready, Da Luo?"

Su Luo felt an inexplicable surge of confidence, a sense of invincibility flooding his senses.

Before the defender could react, Su Luo danced past him, leaving him in his wake!

"Oops!"

Taking advantage of the defender's slow reaction, Su Luo surged forward!

By the time he turned around, Su Luo was already two strides ahead!

Uncle Hans and the fans watched in disbelief as the 16-year-old Asian bypassed three defenders in succession!

"Jesus_Maria! Oh my God!"

Coach Neuhaus exclaimed from the sidelines!

Su Luo dribbled into the penalty area, drawing attention from the defensive midfielder and another central defender.

Undeterred, he unleashed a left-footed shot!

Despite being tightly marked, Su Luo's shot soared into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper rooted to the spot!

"Incredible goal!"

Su Luo pointed to the coach's bench, a triumphant smile on his face.

See that, coach? Bet won on my debut!

And we've still got time!
