Ye Fan, witnessing this transformation, felt an immediate surge of excitement. He could clearly see that the sword's appearance had drastically altered.

The blade now had a faint blood-red hue, adorned with intricate ancient engravings. These markings resembled the delicate patterns of the otherworldly Bianhua flowers, giving the sword an ominous, eerie look.

The sword had become incredibly sharp.

"A new passive skill, 'Soul Sever,'" Ye Fan murmured as he carefully examined the status panel, noticing the addition of this new ability.

He was curious whether the sword's Light Attribute Mode had undergone changes as well.

"Evolution... it's completed," Ren Xing whispered in shock, his eyes wide with awe as he processed the influx of knowledge.

"Soul Cleaver... is that its new name?"

He had no time to dwell on it, though, as a martial artist rushed toward him, clearly aiming to seize the powerful weapon.

"Courting death!"

Ren Xing roared, instantly pouring his source energy into the Soul Cleaver.

The blood-red engravings on the sword's surface darkened into a deep black.

In one swift motion, Ren Xing swung the sword, cleaving the martial artist in two.

The blood from the slain enemy was immediately absorbed into the sword, even though the body was still several feet away. The Soul Cleaver didn't need to touch the blood to consume it.

The sword's bloodsucking ability had clearly evolved.

"S-Rank's bloodsucking effect is way stronger," Ye Fan observed, astonished. "It used to need physical contact with the blood. Now, it can absorb it from a distance."

"The sword... it's drinking the blood," one of the martial artists watching gasped, their eyes widening in horror.

The sight was overwhelming—witnessing a weapon absorb blood by itself was beyond their understanding.

"A demonic sword... that thing is a cursed, demonic sword!" another martial artist screamed.

"This is nothing special," Ye Fan said with a dismissive tone, though he, too, was impressed by how much the sword's abilities had advanced.

"But man, leveling up is going to take forever now! Five million points?" Ye Fan groaned, seeing the steep requirement for further evolution.

"Will I be able to take human form once I hit SSS rank?" he wondered. "Maybe I'll even be able to talk directly to people instead of just internally."

The thought sparked hope in Ye Fan.

"Now, all of you... die!"

Ren Xing's laughter echoed across the room as he turned his gaze on the surrounding martial artists. His excitement surged.

He had evolved! His weapon was now an S-Rank sword!

The idea that his Yao Zhan Sword could still evolve hadn't even crossed his mind. Could it have been the blood from all those martial artists that had fueled this transformation?

Some of the fighters stared at the Soul Cleaver, eyes glimmering with greed. They had seen the sword undergo what appeared to be a form of divine tempering.

This sword was no ordinary weapon!

No wonder Ren Xing had been able to slice through those A-grade weapons with ease.

"I told you all—you're going to die."

Ren Xing's gaze swept across the battlefield as he triggered one of the sword's newly evolved abilities.

In an instant, a flurry of shadows appeared, blending with the flashes of his sword. The martial artists charging toward him were shredded into countless pieces.

When the whirlwind of sword strikes subsided, Ren Xing stood in place, motionless as if he had never moved.

His eyes sparkled with amazement.

"The sword skills... they've become so much stronger!" he exclaimed with glee.
