"Boom~"

The Remington M870 shotgun fired, and although the scattered spells didn't travel far, they were highly effective at close range.

The bovid, hit by the scattered spells, glared at the team leader with bloodshot eyes. Lowering its head, it brandished its horns and charged forward like a bulldozer.

The spells hitting it were ineffective in causing real harm. The man dodged left and right, his wand constantly switching tactics—one moment using the Remington to produce spells that staggered the bovid, the next moment using the Beretta to rapidly alter the terrain beneath him, narrowly escaping. The intense, rapid exchanges were a spectacle to behold.

"Captain! Watch out!"

The bovid, growing increasingly agitated by being toyed with, smashed through a dirt wall over half a meter thick. Its sharp horns cut through a tree as thick as a person's embrace. The threat of death loomed over the team leader as his left hand was impaled by the bovid's sharp horn, only a layer of skin holding on. With the horn's violent shaking, his left arm was torn off and thrown aside.

The spells meant to distract the bovid were ineffective. The remaining three Aurors, nearly in tears from the frustration, desperately cast spells, but their magic was simply too weak against the bovid's thick hide.

A sharp, high-pitched sound pierced the air as a slender red pulse laser shot past the slow-moving spells. Kneeling on the ground and aiming, Harry retrieved his hunting rifle and fired a high-energy pulse laser at the bovid's vulnerable rear.

A high-pitched scream erupted as the bovid, though only lightly wounded, was struck in a sensitive area. The feeling of the high-energy laser was akin to having a red-hot iron rod shoved into a delicate spot—a simple physical rule producing extraordinary effects.

The bovid, now enraged and with its left hand severed, abandoned the fallen team leader and locked its gaze on Harry's direction.

It dug its hooves into the ground, creating a large pit with its four-toed hooves.

Facing this enraged quarry, the hunter closed his left eye and pulled the trigger.

"Whoosh~"

Another high-energy pulse laser shot out, hitting the bovid's left eye. Yet, its tough hide surpassed Harry's expectations. Even the most vulnerable part, its eye, was not pierced through by the laser. Instead, the pain drove the bovid into a furious charge, charging with its eyes closed and its horns aimed menacingly.

"Whoosh~ Whoosh~"

Two more pulse lasers struck the bovid's left eye, but its closed eyelids shielded it. The lasers only burned off a few eyelashes, not even breaking the skin.

"If I ever have money, I'm definitely getting an Armstrong Rotating Armstrong Pulse Cannon!"

Harry abandoned the hunting rifle and leapt to the side. The bovid's massive form smashed through the remaining half of the broken rock and snapped a centuries-old giant tree in half.

"Thick-skinned and tough, huh!"

Rolling up from the ground, Harry didn't run away. If the beast opened its eyes, he would definitely be chased down.

"I'll be damned!"

"Levitate!"

Harry fired a shot at his feet. While the levitation spell wouldn't make him fly, it significantly reduced his weight. Harry leaped over three meters and landed on the bovid's back, a blind spot where its horns couldn't reach.

"Sleep!"

With the Glock's muzzle almost touching the bovid's rear, Harry gritted his teeth and pulled the trigger on White Ivory. At the same time, the Black Ebony let out a deep rumble. The sleep spell, firing at four rounds per second, hammered relentlessly at the bovid's rear.

"Faster! Faster!"

The speed of White Ivory's spell output seemed to increase. The bovid's front hooves wobbled, and it began to falter.

"You two, can you still move? Help out!"

The two uninjured Aurors, urged by Harry, raised their wands. Their spells stabilized at three shots per second, their limit. Not everyone has the skill to cast rapidly; it depends on talent.

"Hang in there, Captain! I'm calling for backup!"

Wood, who had lost a chunk of flesh and had a gash on his abdomen, gritted his teeth and aimed his Colt Python at his own head. With a bang, he vanished as the Disillusionment Charm was canceled.

The enraged bovid, shaking its head, found that Harry's spells weren't enough to put it to sleep but made it dizzy.

Perhaps after three or five seconds, with a series of loud bangs, four Aurors reappeared at the scene. Without hesitation, they raised their wands and unleashed red spells.

The purple-gray beast, weighing at least three or four tons, was finally brought down. As it fell, Harry was thrown off but landed on a soft cushion. Tonks, the round-faced female Auror, caught him. She stumbled and fell to the ground but had a joyful smile on her flushed face.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!"

She hugged Harry tightly, tears streaming down her face.

The other relieved Aurors also cast grateful looks at Harry. Without his intervention, their excellent leader might have fallen to the bovid. It wasn't that the Aurors were not strong enough, but facing such a thick-skinned, frenzied beast while restricted by the Disillusionment Charm was a nearly impossible challenge. Even wizards aren't superhuman, at least not in terms of physical prowess.

"Don't cry, don't cry. I'm perfectly fine, Tonks."

Harry wriggled out of the tight embrace, offering comfort to the older sister figure.

"How do you know my name?" Tonks looked up, her tearful eyes wide with surprise.

"Maybe we've met before?"

"How is that possible?" Tonks chuckled, wiping her tears with her sleeve.

"But the captain just called out your name," Harry reminded her.

"Oh, right, the captain!" Tonks suddenly paused, "Captain, don't die on me! Captain!"

Tonks ran quickly toward the direction where the captain had fallen, her voice filled with despair, and her tears began to flow again.

"Go on, stop wailing! I'm not dead yet. Just give me a hand; it won't take a few minutes."

The captain, being held by Tonks, spoke irritably but with a smile on his pale face from blood loss.

"You're all grown up; stop crying."

He ruffled Tonks's hair, pushing her head aside. "Don't wipe your snot on me; it's hard to clean."

The group laughed heartily, and the atmosphere lightened significantly.

An Auror bound the unconscious, disheveled wizard, confiscating his wand. The man, now in a coma, floated limply in midair like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

"This bastard sure can run."

The captain, who had managed to stop the bleeding and magically reattach his arm, kicked the unconscious man in frustration and spat, cursing him.

He approached Harry but hesitated before speaking.

"Are you Harry Potter?"

Noting Harry's distinctive scar, he recognized him.

"Yes, I'm Harry Potter. Nice to meet you, Captain."

Harry extended his hand, and they shook.

"I'm Jason Graff," he introduced himself and then called out to the others, "Our Harry Potter has returned! The Boy Who Lived is back!"

"You know, Harry, a lot of people know what you said in the pub, but you're not just a lucky guy. If it weren't for you, even if I didn't die, I'd have to spend months in St. Mungo's instead of just needing to reattach an arm."

"When I get back, I'm definitely writing to the Minister to have a monument built for the heroes of ten years ago."

"But that Fudge fellow," he sneered quietly, "We can't expect much from him. I can only say I'll do my best."

"Thank you again, kid."

Jason gave Harry a strong hug, causing Harry to wince in pain as Jason inadvertently put pressure on his left hand.

"It's good to be of help. That guy attacked me, and I was just defending myself."

"But you must have just received your notice, right? Did you practice the spell yourself?"

Seeing Harry nod, Jason grinned widely. "Then I'm even more convinced. Your future is definitely not ordinary. You're going to achieve great things!"

"If you're interested, you should consider taking the Auror examination later. With you around, the magical world will be a safer place, unlike this kind of scum."

He glanced at the disheveled man again. "Azkaban will never be full."

"Are you here to hunt?"

Seeing Harry pick up his hunting rifle, Jason scrutinized the recoil-free Muggle laser gun.

"Yes, today is actually my birthday. I came to hunt deer on the mountain after celebrating with my grandfather. But—"

Harry glanced at the distant mountaintop, quickly raised his rifle, aimed, and pulled the trigger, firing the final high-energy laser beam.

"It'd be nice to roast a lamb, too. The taste of a young lamb is quite delightful."

He drew out Black Ebony and aimed at the falling young goat, pulling the trigger: "Levitate."

The young goat, shot through the neck, was spared from being smashed to pieces and floated gently to the ground.

"Don't let me delay your duties, Uncle Jason. We'll meet again if we have the chance."

Harry waved and headed towards his quarry.

"Look, look, you need to learn more, Tonks."

Jason glanced at the dazed Tonks, rolling his eyes. "You're the last student of Professor Moody; you can't let him down."

"I'm better at disguise, and this isn't my strong suit."

Tonks pouted, her red hair changing to pale pink and her round face becoming an oval one.

She was a natural at polyjuice transformation, possessing all the necessary skills of a master of disguise.

"Alright, lads and lasses, clean up the battlefield, gather the team, and contact the Magical Creatures Department to take away the bovid."

The Aurors began their tasks, cleaning up the chaotic battlefield.
