Chapter 7: Chapter 7
As Damon parked outside the WPKW9 news channel building entrance, Henrik exited the car with him and they moved inside the building quickly.
"Stick to the plan, Damon," Henrik reminded him, just in case he tried to do something different.
"Yeah, you don't need to say it," Damon answered nonchalantly.
"Andie..." Damon called for her once they were inside.
Then, Damon's phone rang. "Bad timing..."
"What? Who is it?" Henrik inquired.
"Elena..." Damon said.
"Just don't answer and let her be. Let's keep moving." Henrik said as he moved around the dark building and searched for Andie.
"Damn," Damon said, then pressed the answer call button. "Elena, what's the problem? You got me in a pinch."
"Where are you?" Elena asked with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"I'm by the... punch bowl." Damon said, hesitating.
"Don't do that, Damon. Don't lie to me." Elena said exasperatedly. "I saw your closet."
"Oh, oh, gotta go... gotta go break up beer pong." Damon quickly said and cut the call.
"Heh, problems in paradise?" Henrik snickered at him.
"Oh, don't you get started." Damon rolled his eyes at him.
"Andie!" Damon called strongly this time as they moved around the place.
Soon, they entered the stage where they transmit the news. Damon found her purse on the floor.
"That isn't a good sign," Henrik said as he observed the purse. Then, he looked ahead after feeling someone moving there and saw Stefan.
"Yeah. Dammit, where is Andie?" Damon said as he grabbed the purse off the floor.
"Hello there." Henrik smiled at Stefan. "We have our guy here, Damon. I presume it is your brother."
"Who are you?" Stefan asked in doubt with a dull voice.
"Stefan," Damon said.
"Hello, brother," Stefan said as he moved his gaze from Henrik to Damon.
"You don't write. You don't call." Damon said, a little pissed off.
"I need you to stop following me." Stefan cut him off. "You're causing some problems."
"With who, Klaus?" Damon mocked him. "I'm supposed to care what he thinks?"
"What you're supposed to do..." Stefan said, getting annoyed, "is let me go."
"Saw your latest artwork in Tennessee." Damon continued, not caring. "You're walking a fine line there, my friend. Keep that up and there will be no saving you."
"See, the thing is, I don't need any saving," Stefan said with a small mocking chuckle. "I just want you to let me go."
"Oh, I got a birthday girl at home who's not going to let me do that." Damon shrugged, already getting pissed off.
"Your brother seems a little bit stupid to me, Damon," Henrik said as he observed their conversation. "He doesn't want to go back to his girl's arms but stay beside Klaus. Ugh!"
"Anyway, let's end things here. Maybe he doesn't want to go to his, but I do to mine," Henrik said.
"Wait, we need to find out where Andie is." Damon stopped him for a second.
"I don't know who the guy you brought along is or what you are planning. But, you know, maybe I haven't made my point," Stefan said as if resigned, having no other choice. Then, he looked upwards. "Hey, Andie, you still there?"
"Andie?" Damon said as he looked at her over the edge upstairs in the catwalk structure.
"She is compelled." Henrik simply said after seeing her. "Stick to what we said before, Damon."
"Damon? I can't move, Damon." Andie said with a nervous and crying voice, staying frozen over the edge of the catwalk. "He told me that I can't move."
"No, no, no, it's ok, Andie, stay calm," Damon said, a little excited, no longer calm, trying to get her to calm down. "Not cool, brother."
"Oh, come on. It's a little bit cool, huh?" Stefan said, showing no emotions on his face, but his voice was sarcastic.
"Hey, Andie--" Stefan continued while looking at Damon in his eyes.
"Alright, the show is over," Henrik said, as he vampire-sped to Stefan's side and punched him in the face, sending him flying into the wall. "Go get her."
Damon acted the moment he saw him move, also not wanting to wait for Stefan to finish giving the order to Andie, knowing that most likely she would jump and fall onto the floor, killing herself.
"Uh." Henrik moved beside Stefan who was under the crumbling wall, already getting up. Not letting him rest, Henrik gave him a free punch, leaving his already bloody face even bloodier as he stunned him momentarily.
"Sweet dreams, broody brother of Damon. Elena would be happy to see you again. You are my birthday present to her." Henrik said before breaking his neck, leaving him in a temporary death state. Then he grabbed him like a sack of potatoes over his shoulder.
While walking, he felt something in Stefan's pocket that he grabbed. It was a Blackberry phone that he took for himself as he had none at the moment. After seeing that it was just a burner phone because the contact list was clean, he moved beside Damon who was with Andie already on the floor. "We are ready to go?"
"Yeah, let's go," Damon said as he grabbed Andie's hand and they started leaving the building.
"Your brother is crazy, Damon," Andie said with a tilt of wanting to cry again as she was still scared of what happened just a moment ago. "He just almost killed me."
"Andie, calm down. He tried, but couldn't." Damon appeased her. "I need a drink."
"I'll sit in the back with your gloomy brother to keep him in check in case he wakes up," Henrik said when they were beside Damon's car, intending to keep breaking Stefan's neck if he were to wake up on the way to the Salvatore's house.
Then Henrik opened the door and dropped him in the seat and sat beside him.
"I still don't get it. How did you know he would be here?" Damon said in doubt while looking at the rearview as they were making their way back to the house.
"Come on, stop looking too much into it," Henrik said as he leaned against the backseat and played around with the Blackberry. It was a relic to him; he hadn't seen a phone like that in over a decade.
"I need to get drunk tonight," Andie commented while looking outside the car.
Not long after, they returned to the house. The party was still going on in the time while they were out.
As they were going in, he saw Caroline with the punk intercepting her.
"Hey! What is your problem?! You're pissed that I brought someone?" Tyler said, frustrated. "That's why you hooked up with that guy so fast?"
"Okay, you need to let it go, Tyler. Why would I be pissed? You brought a date. You're dating and that's awesome." Caroline said, moving away a few steps from him. "You need to stop looking for me and move on. I don't want to leave a false image to my boyfriend to make him think that we have something going on like Matt did."
"Ok, so you want to continue with your show with that guy? That's what it is, Caroline?" Tyler said, getting annoyed. "I thought we had something after what happened back in the cave."
"Tyler, there is no show or anything. He is my boyfriend, my man." Caroline said, getting annoyed too about Tyler insisting too much. It seemed she was too friendly with him. "Get it through your thick wolf skull, Tyler. I have someone already. What happened in there was nothing. Just a chat between two friends. I was trying to understand why you suddenly left without saying anything when I helped you so much because, different from you, I thought we were friends."
"Hey," Henrik said loudly as they entered the house, him with Stefan on his shoulder, intending to lock him down downstairs. "Stop bothering my woman, punk. She made it clear already, move on."
Tyler and Caroline looked in the voice direction and saw Henrik, Damon, Andie, and Stefan over Henrik's shoulders carrying him like a potato sack.
"Fine, whatever. Have a happy relationship, Caroline. Tsk." Tyler said as he left angrily. He didn't want to get pummeled again so easily, even if he could heal. It was something humiliating for him.
"Henrik! You are back. Alaric said you left with Damon." Caroline happily moved beside him and kissed his lips, embracing his free arm between her breasts with one hand as the other had a bottle.
"It's that Stefan?" Caroline said after seeing the body Henrik had over his other shoulder.
"Yeah, it's Damon's broody brother. Hey, love." Henrik said and then he gave her a wet kiss.
"Elena isn't gonna believe that you brought him back," Caroline said, moaning in his mouth as they kissed. "Where did you find him?"
"He wanted to kill Damon's woman, Andie," Henrik said as he gestured with his head to Andie.
"Damon, I will go get a drink, see you later in your bedroom," Andie said, wanting to leave to release a little of her frustration and tension. She gave Damon a long kiss before moving away between the teens at the party.
"Alright, let's lock him downstairs," Damon said as he grabbed Stefan from Henrik's shoulder.
"Hey! You both missed the cake." Caroline said as they moved to the cell room downstairs.
"Oh!" Henrik said, a little sad. "Wanted to taste it. It looked so nice."
"There must be something left, I will get you later a piece," Caroline said, happily as she embraced his waist, leaning against him as they walked behind Damon.
"Good girl, love," Henrik said as he kissed her again, squeezing her big ass in his hands.
"Mhm~~, Henrik. I love you." Caroline said moaning with a dreamy look as she looked at his eyes.
"Me too, Caroline. Thinking about it better, I don't want any cake anymore." Henrik said, smirking. "I have something better already to eat. You taste so nice, baby girl."
"Henrik~~" Caroline shyly said while giving him another kiss.
Soon they were outside the cell room as Damon entered with Stefan and dropped him on the floor, removing his daylight ring and locking the door.
"That should help," Damon said as he looked through the little window in the door inside the room. "Now we need to make him stay out of human blood for a while."
"You believe he can go back to what he was? That guy doesn't look like he wanted to be here." Henrik asked while he groped Caroline's ass, feeling how she squirmed in embarrassment because of it as they were beside Damon. "Anyway, you should say to Elena that we brought her boyfriend back. It's my birthday present for her, that's why I left in the first place. I want to be on good foot with her, as I don't know if you already told her that I was a Mikaelson."
"I will," Damon said, rolling his eyes. "And you are right, I have already told her that you are a Mikaelson and to be alert around you. But she wanted to know you first to see if you were like Klaus or Elijah, not wanting to judge you because of them."
"So, if Stefan is your birthday present to her, I shouldn't owe you anything," Damon smirked.
"Don't even think about it. You owe me one, I helped saving your little girlfriend's life and brought back your broody brother, Elena or not." Henrik said, amused, and chuckled about it.
"Damn, little guy. Fine." Damon said shrugging before moving away upstairs, possibly to find Elena.
"Baby, give me your phone number, I got a phone." Henrik smiled as he turned his head to her while they walked, leaving the basement too after Damon did. He grabbed on his way out a few blood bags from the freezer, intending to enjoy it with the cake if there was anything left of it.
"Really? Let me see it," Caroline said excitedly. "Where did you get it?"
"Stefan's courtesy, it was a burn phone so I took it for myself, a little payment from him for bringing him back from Klaus's clutches," Henrik said with a little smile.
"Oh! Poor Stefan got beaten and looted," Caroline said, rolling her eyes at that.
"Yeah, he will get hurt in more ways than just a broken neck." Henrik nodded and then shrugged, not caring about it.
Caroline took the phone in front of them as she took a picture and then started fiddling with it for a moment before passing it to Henrik's hands again. "Anyway, I already saved my number in it, baby. And left our cute picture as your background screen."
"Nice, love. I love it." Henrik said as he gave her another tongue kiss after seeing the photo of them both on the screen. "You look hot wearing this dress and the tattoo on your breast at eyesight."
"I know, right?" Caroline smiled, loving her lover's words. She also liked the white wolf tattoo; it was a badass big wolf.
