High school musical and love

Chapter 43: I regret falling in love with you.

Liz woke up; it had been 21 hours since she had slept. She looked around and saw her in sleeping on a couch. She stood up silently and left the hospital withoutanyone noticing her.

At Jay's room, he was busy with the girl he met at the club. He heard a knock on his door and was wondering who it might be because it was late. He stood up, put on his nightwear, and walked to the door. He was surprised to see Liz standing in front of her door.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were not feeling fine and should be in the hospital," he asked while he was cornered about her but later changed his actions and pretended he didn't care. He cleared his throat and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Jay, please listen to me," Liz cried for his attention also her breathing was fast.

"I have nothing to discuss with you," he replied.

"Why can't you listen to me and hear my part? Did you think I was also happy at getting engaged with herin and I did everything for you?" she said, with a tear on her face.

"I know it was an excuse. I have nothing to do with you again because you are someone's woman and you broke my trust. I will never forgive you for that," he said, pointing his finger at her while he was angry.

"Just leave; I don't want to see you again," he said, and he was serious about it.

"Jay, you have to listen to me," she was trying to explain when she saw a strange lady coming from the room and hugging Jay from the back. "Who is she?""She asked, a tear falling from her eyes.

"You are asking me when you belong to someone? You don't need to be jealous because it's over between us," he said.

"Are you trying to make me jealous, or do you mean it?" she asked.

"I mean it, Liz; let's break up," he said curiously.

"Jay," Liz couldn't believe it; she was also hurt.

"Leave here, and I don't want to see your face ever again, you traitor," he said while trying to hide his tears.

"I don't know my father; he's trying to protect me from you. He knows you will break my heart, and I'm foolish for falling in love with you," she cried.

"When you are done, you can leave," he said and bragged the door. Liz sat down and cried out loud. Even Jay was at the door; he also sat down and cried silently. The girl walked to him; she was angry and left him, then went back to the bed. After some minutes, Liz left through the door. She was about to get down from the staircase when she felt dizzy; everywhere was upside down, and she fell from the staircase and fainted.

Jay noticed he did not hear her voice again, and he stood up and opened the door. Then he realized that she had left. He quickly went to his window to see her, but there were no traces of her. He stood there for a moment, yet she didn't appear, and he was worried. He quickly went out of the room, then saw one of Liz's shoes not far from the stairs. He rushed there, then saw Liz lying down in a pool of blood; she hit her head on the wall before the second stairs. He was scared, shouted her name, and rushed to her. He raised her, head up and called her but Liz didn't answer; her head was bleeding. He carried her and rushed out of the hostel, heading to the hospital. When he entered the hospital, he called out for help, and they attended to him and rushed Liz inside the emergency ward. Jay sat down beside the ward Liz was taken into and wept. He was scared and regretted his actions. Not long after, Herin was informed. He came there with Bianca and saw Jay, who was terrified. Herin walked to him, held his collar, and raised him up with force. "What did you do to her?" he shouted in anger. Bianca walked to them and separated them.

"Herin, you have to calm down; my friend will be okay, I'm sure of that," Bianca said, just to calm him, but she was not sure of her words because she was also worried

"If anything happens to her, I won't forgive you, Jay," he said and sat on the couch. Jay was speechless and left. Bianca followed him to the direction of the male toilet, and he called him. Jay waited while Bianca walked to him.

"I don't know; she was going to fall. I should have listened to her. Maybe if I did, she won't fall from the stairs," he said, regretting his actions.

"Liz loves you so much," Bianca said.

"I know, and I also do. I'm just jealous because she got engaged with Herin," Jay explained.

"That was just a fake engagement. I and Herin planned it just to distract her father because he wanted to marry her off to a stranger, and that was what she was trying to explain, and you didn't give her a chance. I'm scared to lose my friend," Bianca explained, and she left. Jay walked to the toilet, locked himself inside, and hit his hand at the mirror in anger. He screamed out his frustration and continued hitting his hand at the mirror, also reversing what Bianca said. His hand was bleeding. He sat on the floor and cried, also remembering how Liz tried to explain, and he did not believe, also the embarrassment he gave her. Jay cried bitterly.

After some minutes, the doctor came out from the room and came closer to Bianca. "You need to call her parents because she needs to transfer to a good hospital; she is not responding to the treatment, and I'm scared she might lose her life, so you need to inform her parents for better treatment."

"Okay, I will do that right now," Bianca replied, also scared. Herin walked up to the doctor.

"Doctor, do you mean we are losing her?" Herin asked.

"I don't know, but she needs to be transferred to the city hospital immediately," the doctor said and walked away. Herin was speechless; the nurse pushed Liz out with the pushing bed. Bianca walked to her and was scared. "Liz, open your eyes, please. You can't do this to us," she cried, and Herin held her back while Liz was taken to another ward. Jay came out of the toilet; by then, Herin had left. He saw Bianca crying, and he walked to her. "What's wrong, Bianca?" he asked with concern.
