Naruto found himself in a dilemma, torn between two impressive talents: Uchiha Izuna and Hatake Sakumo. Both of these shinobi, known for their unique skills, seemed almost equal in potential. However, Naruto had to choose which of them had the stronger, more adaptable talent for the role he needed.

Hatake Sakumo: Konoha's White Fang

Naruto's mind went first to Hatake Sakumo, a legendary figure stronger than the Sannin and known as the White Fang of Konoha. Sakumo's fame rose during the Second Ninja War, where his feats left a lasting mark. However, the specifics of his battles were sparse—his greatest known achievement was defeating the parents of the puppet master, Sasori. During this era, even the Sannin, Konoha's elite trio, were defeated by the fearsome Hanzo the Salamander. Their true strength likely peaked much later in life, leaving Naruto uncertain just how powerful they really were during the war. Yet, if Sakumo had outmatched them, he surely held immense power.

Uchiha Izuna: A Ninja Without Flaws

Turning his thoughts to Uchiha Izuna, Naruto reflected on Izuna's legacy. As Uchiha Madara's younger brother, Izuna was deeply respected within the Uchiha clan and remembered as a genius. His mastery of the Mangekyō Sharingan and unparalleled swordsmanship were said to rival Madara's, making him the second-strongest Uchiha. However, Izuna's appearances in records were even fewer than Sakumo's. His talent, nonetheless, was revered, and his title as a "flawless ninja" held weight. Even in the tumultuous Sengoku period, where Uchiha fought against the Senju clan, Izuna earned respect—a testament to his skills and resilience. Naruto knew that Madara's achievements were, in part, built upon Izuna's contributions, which included his pivotal use of the Mangekyō Sharingan.

The Dilemma: Choosing Talent

Faced with the choice, Naruto weighed the advantages of each. On one hand, Sakumo, a civilian-born ninja, represented the strength that didn't rely on clan heritage, making him a relatable figure. But Izuna's title as a ninja without flaws proved irresistible. The flawless reputation and mysterious legacy of Izuna ultimately swayed Naruto. In Izuna, he saw a figure who could transcend bloodlines and embody the highest standards of a shinobi. And so, Naruto decided: "System, select Uchiha Izuna."

Yet, Naruto's curiosity lingered on one question: how would Izuna fare without his Uchiha bloodline?

Selecting the Character's Attributes

With Izuna's talent chosen, Naruto proceeded to construct other aspects of his character's profile. He needed to develop traits, health, intelligence, personality, relationships, appearance, hobbies, and specialties that would complement Izuna's talents.

1. Health: In terms of health, Naruto wanted durability and chose Inuzuka Kiba as a template. Inuzuka, known for his physical resilience and taijutsu skills, presented the perfect balance of vitality and adaptability.

2. IQ: When it came to intelligence, Naruto was presented with a list of characters that included the impulsive Hidan, the determined Rock Lee, and the wise Might Guy. Ultimately, he chose Might Guy for his unique balance of discipline, courage, and intuition—a perfect match to make the character resourceful and clever, yet grounded.

3. Personality: For personality, the system drew several figures: the rebellious Sasuke, the stoic Kisame, and even Kaguya Otsutsuki. In the end, Naruto selected Haruno Sakura for her resilience, determination, and balance. With her tenacity, Sakura's personality would give the character a sense of loyalty and strength.

4. Relationships: Naruto's social attributes needed a well-rounded figure, and Namikaze Minato, Konoha's beloved Fourth Hokage, was ideal. Minato's diplomatic nature, balanced approach, and genuine empathy for others would give the character a strong foundation in forming alliances and friendships.

5. Appearance: The system next drew six candidates for appearance, including the towering Kisame, the hefty Chōji, and the handsome Hatake Kakashi. Kakashi's appearance, however, best captured the lean, agile, and enigmatic quality Naruto envisioned. This choice would allow the character to embody a look that was both approachable and distinct.

6. Hobby: Naruto then had to select a hobby that would drive the character's behavior and blend seamlessly with his talents. He chose Nara Shikaku's analytical nature. Shikaku's habit of deep thinking and strategy would help the character stay ahead in complex situations.

7. Specialty: Finally, Naruto looked at the character's specialty, aiming for a skill that would leverage the character's full potential. Here, he chose Shikamaru's tactical expertise, aligning it with Shikaku's analytical hobby to form a perfect synergy in strategy and decision-making.

The Resulting Character

With each attribute carefully chosen, Naruto was eager to see the character fully realized. The character sheet now read as follows:

Surname: Aoi

Talent: Uchiha Izuna

Health: Inuzuka Kiba

IQ: Might Guy

Personality: Haruno Sakura

Relationships: Namikaze Minato

Appearance: Hatake Kakashi

Hobby: Nara Shikaku

Specialty: Nara Shikamaru

As he reviewed the character's complete profile, Naruto felt a mix of excitement and anticipation. Each attribute worked harmoniously to create a well-rounded, powerful character, even without the Uchiha bloodline. This ninja embodied qualities that went beyond clan heritage, relying instead on skill, intellect, and personality.

In Naruto's mind, the experiment held potential for new strengths and skills to emerge, and he could hardly wait to witness what this "flawless ninja" would achieve with the unique blend of traits. Perhaps, through this creation, he could answer his own question about the role of talent, heritage, and personality in the making of a true shinobi.
