ALL NOVEL Chapter : House of The Dragon/Cursed As A Dragon God
Alright, I'll make this one quick. Just to explain the power of The Calamity real quick.
This is a crossover fic, only using a certain ability from my own Novel: Cursed As A Dragon God. I'll write a Glossary for key terms so you don't get confused but that will come when I have a chance, just be on the lookout for another Auxillary Chapter.
The power in question is called a Calamity, a rare and powerful form of Sorcery that is bestowed upon a person when they go through the Soulway, an interdimensional vortex of power that sucks people in and spits them out in my Novel's fictional world. Those who bear a Calamity are called Cursed Ones and have an unstable yet incredible power.
In this case, a Cursed One was sucked into the Soulway from Infernis(My Novel's world) and into the world of ASOIAF. And he doesn't just bear any Calamity, he bears the Dragon Calamity.
The Dragon Calamity is the power to govern the concept of a dragon. While in the Novel, it's not fully fleshed out, The MC there can manifest and control Dragons or Dragon-like creatures. Well, at the time I am writing this, the MC has only manifested two Wyverns and used their elements so far.
These are the basic things the MC for this Fic can do:
- Super-Strength (Compared to the regular humans in this world)
- Enhanced Speed
- Enhanced Durability
- Regeneration (Limited)
- Sorcery (Will be fleshed more throughout the story)
- Draconic Control and Manipulation
As far as the people of this world are concerned, he's essentially a God, too powerful for them to face.
The Dragon Calamity will allow him to have control over the Dragons of ASOIAF, which will be an interesting take.
HOWEVER, his entire power will be severely nerfed due to the crossing of worlds. So he'll have to regain his true strength slowly but surely.
He's basically a Cursed One from my Novel's history, not a character that is the current story.
Anyways, that is basically the extent of this entire Crossover premise, just thought I would do something cool and hopefully it gets the attention that points it to my Novel.
Also, I know I may have shared my feelings of "Heartless Perfectionist" characters and how not every character shouldn't have to be that way, let's just say that I don't really mind doing them. It's just that they are not my favorite trope. I can be flexible when it comes to writing but if people have an issue when it comes to "Lack of Ambition and Drive" in a ASOIAF setting, well too bad.
Drakken, this character, will not go for the Throne. Such petty things are beneath him. He is the wielder of a Dragon Calamity, the strongest form of Calamity from my Novel's world. At full power, no restraints, he is essentially akin to a Dragon God.
And well, with "The Black Lord" and the whole "Zaldrizes Jaes" plotline, I am aware that it's a bit repetitive but I'll think of something to keep it fresh.
It's not like there's no people who reuse concepts and titles for their unfinished stories *cough* *cough*.
