Chapter 338: Chapter 338 : Days Of The Past 3
After everyone calmed down from the surprise of Jacob's sudden appearance, Orion turned to Newt. There was a seriousness in his expression that made Newt realize this was no ordinary conversation. Orion had questions, and Newt could tell that it was about something more than just magical creatures.
Of course, he wasn't planning on talking in front of everyone so he bring him away just in case.
"Newt," Orion began, "I need your help with something important. I'm searching for a vampire named Eric. He's hidden from everyone even vampires. He's been moving quietly around both the magical and non-magical communities."
Newt's eyes widened slightly. Vampires were rare to encounter, especially those who interacted with the non-magical world. "I'm happy to help however I can, but vampires… that's a bit outside my usual area, I deal with Magical Beasts...Vampires are no beasts, they are intelligent creatures. What exactly are you looking for?"
Orion explained, "Eric's not just any vampire, he's special. Its hard to explain but he is not exactly like any normal vampire.
I've been tracking strange movements. Vampires are appearing in major cities, both in the magical and non-magical worlds, often disappearing without a trace. They even Attack Elenora for some reason. Not sure why. Interrogated them too, All to find Eric but I got nothing. I have no other option but to ask you for help."
Newt thought carefully. "It's true that vampires are normally quite secretive and don't like drawing attention to themselves. If they're gathering in cities like this, there must be a reason."
Orion nodded. "That's what I believe, too. I was hoping you might have insights into vampire behavior or connections through your work with magical creatures. Any tips would help."
Newt smiled a little, feeling a bit out of his element but eager to assist. "Well, I've mostly studied magical beasts, but I do know that vampires are usually loyal to their own. They tend to stay within established clans or territories, and it's uncommon for them to step outside those boundaries unless there's something significant pushing them."
'Something significant huh,are you telling that those bloodsuckers who chase half of my life by now are usually peace-loving creatures...' Orion thought with exasperation.
But then suddenly he remembers...
'They were also after Elenora... why. What significant thing draws them to her ?'
Orion listened intently, absorbing every detail. "That's helpful. If Eric's left his clan, it might mean there's something bigger thing happening among the vampires. Or perhaps they're under orders from someone even higher up."
Newt considered this for a moment. "They're prideful, and they don't trust outsiders easily. You might have better luck if you approach through someone who's already familiar to him."
'You are late buddy, I just bargained with them yesterday, hard...' Orion pursed his lips and try not to change his face much in front of Newt.
Orion nodded. "Good point. I'll be careful. I've dealt with vampires before, but this Eric… forget it." Orion just shook his head and stopped talking, there was no point.
'That bastard, how hard it would have been to give him an address. Why I get all the annoying hard to deal with old mens?'
Newt placed a reassuring hand on Orion's shoulder. "Whatever you need, I'll do my best to help. I'll check through my contacts as well. I have a few acquaintances who study vampires and their lore. They might know more about this Eric."
Orion looked grateful. "Thank you, Newt. I know this isn't your usual work, but your knowledge of creatures and understanding of magical communities could be invaluable here."
Newt smiled warmly. "I've always believed that creatures, no matter how dangerous they seem, are often misunderstood. If there's anything I can do to help you understand what the vampires are doing, I'm here for it."
They exchanged a firm nod, a mutual understanding passing between them.

After his conversation with Newt, Orion knew it was time to finally speak to Credence. He found Credence in a quiet corner, looking uncertain and lost in thought. Orion took a deep breath, aware that this discussion would change everything for the young man.
"Credence," Orion began softly, his voice filled with a calm that instantly caught Credence's attention. "Lets talk about what I promised to you earlier."
Credence looked up, his eyes filled with both hope and fear. Orion's words struck a chord, and he listened intently, wondering what secrets were about to be revealed.
"Have you ever heard of Albus Dumbledore?" Orion asked.
Credence shook his head. The name was unfamiliar to him, though he did come under contact with Grindelwald but he never truly teach Credence anything.
"Dumbledore is one of the most powerful wizards of our time, a british wizard. And he's connected to your family," Orion explained. "You see, Credence, you're not alone in this world. You're the son of Albus's brother—your father is also Dumbledore."
Credence's eyes widened as he took in the information, shock and confusion fighting for dominance on his face. However, the fact that he was related to a powerful person itself didn't matter that much to him. But the fact that his lineage went back to Britain was... surprising. He at least believed that he was at least American.
He had always believed he was abandoned, and unwanted, but now, hearing Orion speak, he finally new what his real name was, where he come from.
Many people could take this for granted but not Credence. For a man who never knew his real name all his life, was was a big deal.
Orion knew because he kind of fall into the same category.
"I personally don't know much about the Dumbledore family, although Albus Dumbledore is pretty famous but not much is known about his personal life.
If you want to know what really happened in the past, then you have to find Albus Dumbledore and his brother, or your father yourself. That is the only way to get the answers to your questions." Orion said with a sigh.
All he knew was from how much he remember from the movie or what he had learned by living in this world for more than 20+ years.
Credence's expression softened slightly, the pieces beginning to fit together. He took a shaky breath, his hands clenching as he tried to process this overwhelming truth.
"What about you? You said you are also related to me." he asked, his voice wavering.
Orion paused, then finally answered, "Well... maybe this is the time for me to come clean..." With that, Orion raised his hands, removing the disguise he'd worn so carefully. The sharp features, the dark eyes of "John Wick," faded away, revealing Orion's true self—a boy who looked both gentle and strong, with a trace of something familiar in his gaze.
Credence stared, astonished. The man turn into a boy younger then him, who had been guiding him and protecting him, was now showing his true face was even younger than him. He was speechless, uncertain of what to say.
"I'm Orion..., Orion A. Dumbledore." he said, his voice steady and sincere. "I've been watching over you, trying to protect you from those who would misuse your powers. I understand what it feels like to be lost, but you have a family—a real family. They may be distant now, but they would welcome you."
Credence's eyes filled with tears, his mind racing with questions. "Can… can I meet them?" he finally managed to ask, his voice raw with emotion. "Can I meet my father… or Dumbledore?"
Orion placed a reassuring hand on Credence's shoulder.
"Meeting Dumbledore huh ? Honestly I don't want to but if you wish them I will help. All it will take is opening a portal".
Credence didn't understand what Orion meant by he didn't want to meet Dumbledore but nodded nonetheless.
Orion smiled. "When you're ready, Credence, we'll go together."
"Lets go..."
"Now ?"
"yeah..."
"Hmm fine." Orion gumbled and then motioned to open a portal.
But before that Credence stopped him.
"Hmm, one more question... you said Dumbledore is strong..." Credence asked with a little hesitation.
"Yeah, he is." Orion just replied nonchalantly.
"Even stronger than you... if a fight broke out, will you lose...?"
That pause Orion...For a second he didn't say anything. But the...
