Chapter 18: Chapter 18: "It's Imminent, I Can't Take Care of So Much!"
Antonia's anger was at its peak. The situation was far more dangerous than he had anticipated.
Stephen, still quivering in fear, knew that his time was running out. Antonia's rage had escalated, and the gravity of the crimes Stephen was about to disclose hit him hard. The moment Antonia looked at him with fury, Stephen's thoughts raced with terror.
He knew exactly what kind of person Antonia was. The infamous enforcer for the police, his presence alone sent shivers down anyone's spine. But now, standing before him, Stephen realized the true extent of Antonia's power. He wasn't just a cop—he was a force of nature, capable of making anyone spill their secrets.
The tension in the air was suffocating as Stephen's mind raced. What could he do to save himself? But deep down, he knew there was no escape. The only choice was to comply.
"Brother, you say it, I'll say whatever you need!" Stephen stammered.
Antonia looked down at him coldly, his voice low but filled with authority. "If I step on you, I can turn you into a pile of meat. Do you believe me?"
Stephen's heart nearly stopped. "I… I believe! I believe!" His face paled further, the fear overwhelming him.
Without waiting for any more hesitation, Antonia's hand shot out, smacking Stephen across the face with a brutal force. Stephen collapsed to the ground with a painful thud.
"You better start talking, or it'll get worse," Antonia warned, towering over him.
Stephen's mind was spinning, and he knew his only hope for survival was to comply. "Please, brother, I'll talk. I'll tell you everything."
Antonia's patience was thin. "Start with who's inside, how many people, and what they're armed with."
Stephen, shaking uncontrollably, began to divulge everything he knew. The house wasn't just a den of crime—it was a full-fledged operation. There were over forty people involved, and the majority of them had blood on their hands. Some of the more "innocent" members had committed acts far worse than murder.
They trafficked humans, forced families to sell milk tea and beg on the streets, and, worst of all, they were involved in the gruesome business of organ trafficking. The doctors performing the surgeries were black-market specialists who had no qualms about killing the victims if necessary. Human lives meant nothing to these criminals.
Antonia's anger boiled over as he listened. His body tensed, every muscle coiled in rage. "Destruction of the human soul," he muttered under his breath, struggling to keep his emotions in check.
Stephen had no idea how to stop talking, his words spilling out faster than he could think.
But then, just when Antonia thought he had the full picture, Stephen hesitated.
"There's… there's more," Stephen said, his voice faltering as he looked at Antonia with pleading eyes.
Antonia's eyes narrowed. "If you're wasting my time, I swear I'll—"
"No! No, please!" Stephen gasped, scrambling to his feet. "It's the doctor! He's supposed to take out a child's heart today. The buyer's already made contact. The operation's probably happening right now!"
That revelation hit Antonia like a lightning bolt. His fist clenched, and a wave of fury surged through him. He slapped Stephen hard across the face, sending him tumbling back to the ground. "You think this is a joke?!"
Stephen winced but quickly scrambled back up, gasping for air. "I wasn't lying! It's true! The heart is for sale, and the operation is supposed to happen any minute!"
Antonia's jaw clenched. He looked at Stephen, his eyes burning with fury. "You're not lying, are you? This is your last chance to tell the truth."
Stephen nodded quickly, his hands shaking as he recounted the gruesome details. Antonia's patience was wearing thin, and his mind was already calculating what needed to be done.
Meanwhile, Tom, still in the corner, was pale with fear. He hadn't been beaten, but his dread was palpable. He had hoped Antonia would forget about him, but now it seemed like he was in even more danger than before.
Tom's eyes darted toward Antonia, who was now deep in thought, clearly formulating his next move. He prayed he wouldn't be caught up in the mess.
Antonia finally snapped out of his thoughts, looking at Tom with cold determination. "Take him to see Sam. Tell him everything. He'll know what to do. And tell him to contact headquarters. We need backup now."
Tom nodded quickly, trying to make himself as invisible as possible. He had no idea what Sam's reaction would be, but he couldn't afford to delay. The sooner he got out of this mess, the better.
Antonia turned his attention back to the matter at hand. "As for me..." He smirked, his eyes glinting with resolve. "I'm going to f**k their world up."
With that, Antonia gestured for Stephen to lead the way, his mind focused on the task ahead. He wasn't about to let the criminals get away—especially when innocent lives were at stake.
Stephen led the way nervously, glancing behind him every few seconds to make sure Antonia was still following. They reached the building where the operation was taking place. As they approached, the weight of the situation bore down on Antonia. Inside, children's lives were being stolen, and the perpetrators needed to be stopped—now.
But as he stared at the building, a deep sense of urgency took over. The people inside would not hesitate to destroy evidence and run at the first sign of trouble. Antonia had no choice but to move fast and act decisively.
He looked at Stephen one last time. "Lead the way. You don't want to find out what happens if you try anything funny."
Stephen swallowed hard and nodded, his mind racing. He knew that once the storm hit, there would be no stopping it.
With a deep breath, Antonia steeled himself. This was the moment. The criminals inside would face justice, and he was going to make sure of it. The lives of the innocent were counting on him.
As the night wore on, the plan began to unfold, and the inevitable confrontation loomed closer. The storm that was about to descend on the criminal den would be swift, unforgiving, and absolute.
Antonia was ready.
