Chapter 24: Did the senior also use the magic changing clothes?
Roy and Erza burst into the station's main hall, stepping over the defeated soldiers scattered by Iron Forest's onslaught. Standing at the center of the chaos was a tall, lanky man with silver hair, wielding a massive scythe that matched his height. His name was *Erigor*, the leader and strongest mage of Iron Forest.
Upon noticing the group, Erigor pointed his scythe at them, his grin brimming with arrogance. "Mages from a legal guild? Did you come here to die?"
Despite a fleeting sense of familiarity with Erza, standing proudly in her silver-white armor and crimson hair, Erigor didn't give it much thought. With the **LULLABY** artifact already in hand, his confidence soared. Had he recognized her as the famed **Fairy Queen**, he might have fled immediately. But blinded by his own hubris, he stayed to taunt.
Unbeknownst to him, villains who talk too much never last long—a rule that Erigor was about to learn the hard way.
Roy couldn't help but chuckle inwardly, watching the self-assured leader and his equally puffed-up lackeys. *Ah, so many members of a dark guild. Even if their powers vary, this will be a great harvest of justice points.*
While Roy fantasized about unlocking new justice milestones, Erza, driven by action, had already stepped forward.
"**Requip: Heaven's Wheel Armor!**" she declared.
A crimson magic circle flared around her, flooding the hall with brilliant light. When it faded, Erza's appearance had transformed dramatically.
Clad in a dazzling suit of silver-white armor, complete with a flowing battle skirt, she exuded grace and authority. Metallic wings extended from her back, and she wielded dual swords, her crimson hair cascading like a waterfall over one eye.
At that moment, she appeared divine, a figure of beauty and power beyond comprehension.
"Whoa! This is Erza's magic?" Lucy gasped in awe as she entered the hall behind Roy and Erza.
"Aye!" Happy chimed in enthusiastically. "It's so pretty! But, there'll be lots of blood soon!"
"Wait, *what*?" Lucy blanched, turning to the blue Exceed.
"Because Erza makes her enemies bleed. A lot," Happy explained matter-of-factly.
Lucy didn't need further clarification. The moment Erza charged into Iron Forest's ranks, her words became reality.
Dozens of silver swords materialized in the air, forming a stunning yet deadly symphony. With a graceful movement, Erza unleashed a flurry of blades, each strike a mix of elegance and precision.
To the members of Iron Forest, however, it was a nightmare. They fell like leaves in a storm, unable to withstand the relentless onslaught. Cries of agony filled the hall as Erza's attack painted the battlefield crimson.
Amidst the chaos, someone among the trembling Iron Forest members finally recognized her. "That's Erza Scarlet! An S-Class mage from Fairy Tail—the Fairy Queen!"
Panic rippled through the ranks. Despair overtook them as they realized they stood no chance against such an opponent.
But where was their leader?
The remaining members searched frantically, only to spot Erigor ascending to the ceiling, scythe in hand. He was leaving them behind, abandoning his own guild to its fate.
Their despair deepened as their pleas and curses filled the air.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines, Happy eagerly explained Erza's magic to Lucy. "This is Erza's magic—'The Knight.' It's a form of Requip magic that allows her to switch between various armors and weapons to adapt to any battle."
"Requip magic?" Lucy glanced at Roy. "Does that mean your magic is the same, too, Roy-senpai?"
Having worked with Roy on multiple missions, Lucy had seen him don his dragon knight armor several times. She'd always meant to ask about it but had been too caught up in post-mission celebrations to remember—until now.
"Wait, Roy has Requip magic too?" Natsu, Gray, and Happy all turned to Roy in unison, equally curious.
Roy chuckled. "Not quite," he said with a mysterious smile. "But I'd be happy to explain—after we finish cleaning up here."
His words carried an air of confidence, making Lucy and the others even more intrigued.
