Hunter, Thank You For Your Blood Donation!

Vol. 1 Chapter 2.9 - A Strange Cohabitation with a Natural Enemy (9)

Si-wol, who was being led in a daze, found himself settling on the mattress. He looked at Ian, who was sitting across from him, with a puzzled expression.

“So, this blood collection means you’re going to stick a needle in me.”

“Yes. I suppose that’s…?”

Ian unbuttoned his shirt and spoke.

“There’s no need to make a new hole in my body.”

“Then how…?”

“I already have a hole.”

Here.

Ian opened the loose part of his collar. As a result, two round scars were revealed, with only the remnants of Siwol’s bite remaining, as the wound had almost completely healed.

“Just like last time, suck and drink directly.”

“Yes…?”

…Are you crazy? Si-wol couldn’t bring himself to ask the question and quickly swallowed his words.

Si-wol’s panic-stricken eyes examined Ian’s scars. He had thought that the wounds from when he had deeply pierced his fangs would leave significant scars, but they were almost healed, leaving only faint marks. With more time, even those scars would completely disappear.

‘His regenerative ability… is almost inhuman.’

A hunter’s bodies seemed to have exceptional regenerative abilities compared to ordinary humans.

‘But still, I’m a vampire, no matter what.’

Si-wol couldn’t easily accept it. No matter how good his regenerative ability was, that human was a hunter. A hunter telling a vampire to drink his blood! And not just that, he had to directly pierce his fangs in!

Si-wol reflected on himself, realizing that he was somewhat conservative and unable to keep up with the modern times.

‘I guess I’ll just stick to being conservative…’

He felt that if he tried to forcefully understand something that he couldn’t comprehend, something would feel off. Si-wol sighed and lifted his head, ready to accept Ian’s proposal, but then he abruptly stopped.

“Why?”

Ian asked. However, Si-wol remained still, vigorously shaking his head.

‘Huh? …Wait a minute. Is it really okay for me to drink blood like this?’

In his confused mind, Si-wol recalled the previous night, when they were tangled up under the bright red lights.

‘Come to think of it… I think I was the only one excited back then.’

He remembered the changes in his body that occurred as he drank Ian’s fresh blood. The heat that surged up from his lower abdomen and spread throughout his body, the memory of losing control and pushing his fangs deeper in the excitement.

In every memory, Ian’s presence was like a cold and icy barrier from beginning to end. Why didn’t he get excited?

‘…Is it because he’s a hunter?’

Si-wol looked at Ian with a questioning gaze. Ian met his gaze without avoiding it. The mixed gaze in the air returned to Si-wol clearly.

‘It seems like it didn’t bother him because he’s a hunter… That’s why he told me to drink without hesitation.’

Ian had mentioned that hunters have uniquely specialized bodies. Knowing that they are different from regular humans, Si-wol could understand why he didn’t get excited even when he drank his blood.

Si-wol’s expression sank. Even though he didn’t know what he was expecting from him, he strangely felt his mood dampen.

“Do you have something to say?”

“It’s nothing.”

Si-wol shook his head. After all, there was no need to hide anything now, and honestly, he wanted to taste Ian’s vivid blood again. The blood that was so sweet that it could melt his tongue.

“I… Ian-ssi, I want to drink from you. Right now.”

“Good.”

Without hesitation, Ian nodded, and Si-wol eagerly positioned himself on the mattress. He was thinking of biting his neck from behind. But as he tried to take a step forward, his arm was suddenly pulled back, bringing him back to the front.

Aht

! I-Ian-ssi?”

“I may have said I would give you blood, but I can’t show my back to a vampire.”

“Yes? B-But…”

“Why? Did you want to bite my neck?”

“No! No, I… I didn’t mean to… Um… Then, just like this…”

Si-wol awkwardly returned to Ian’s front and assumed a more ambiguous position. Kneeling with his hands on the ground, he tried to minimize any contact with Ian’s body, except for his head.

“What are you doing?”

With a puzzled expression, Ian furrowed his brow as Si-wol assumed a posture resembling a newborn giraffe. He then grabbed Si-wol’s wrists as he touched the ground.

Aht

, if you do that!”

Just as Si-wol was about to say, “I’m going to fall!” his head tilted and landed on Ian’s shoulder.

“…..?”

Si-wol rolled his eyes, indicating that he didn’t understand. In front of his eyes was Ian’s flesh emitting a sweet scent. The warmth of his skin against Si-wol’s cheek surprised him.

“T-This posture is a bit…”

They were pressed against each other as if embracing. Si-wol deliberately took care to avoid him getting too close to a vampire to avoid making him uncomfortable, but he couldn’t understand why Ian was refusing. He couldn’t figure out what Ian wanted.

Then, a low voice gently brushed against Si-wol’s ear.

“I saw you showing off your skills with your nails last time.”

“What?”

“It’s better to do it in this position.”

Only then did Si-wol realize his own physical condition. His arms, held by Ian, were wrapped around his back and tightly bound in one of Ian’s hands. He could feel Ian slowly stroking around his fingers. Each touch sent a shiver down his spine. That sensation transported Si-wol back to the past.

“Ah…”

On the day when Si-wol was first held by Ian, he poured all his strength into transforming his nails into weapons.

‘…But I don’t have that kind of strength anymore.’

However, he didn’t open his mouth because he felt that even if he said it, he wouldn’t be believed. He simply let out a small sigh, feeling overwhelmed by the unexpected situation that had entangled them once again.

“If you can’t trust me that much, then just take my blood…”

“If you can’t trust it that much, why don’t you just go ahead and collect the blood…”

Despite the mumbled words, Ian somehow understood what Si-wol was saying and smirked.

“Is your throat not dry?”

Aht

, no! I’m thirsty….”

“Then shut up and drink quietly.”

“Yes….”

Following Ian’s command, Si-wol obediently parted his lips.

‘I’ll just drink until right before I get excited.’

Si-wol made a determined promise to himself. He didn’t have much confidence, but he had to do it. Although it was a bit uncomfortable to move his head because his arms were bound by Ian, it wasn’t too bad.

Soon, his opened lips revealed white fangs. They didn’t look much different from the blunt fangs of a human, probably because Si-wol was weakened.

‘They should go through smoothly in one go….’

Just like when a sewing needle couldn’t find the vein properly and had to be pricked multiple times, inserting the fangs was the same. So, Si-wol made an effort to insert the fangs in places that resembled the scars as much as possible.

Thunk, thud.

With a small cracking sound as the flesh burst, the fangs were inserted. The muscles and layers that resisted strongly beneath the skin soon loosened as they came into contact with the saliva flowing through the fangs.

‘It feels like they’re going in better than last time.’

Following that thought, Si-wol released the fangs once, and it seemed that he could smoothly enter the vein.

“…..”

Si-wol glanced at Ian’s expression while his vein was in front of him. He was silently offering his neck without even letting out a moan.

He probably never willingly offered his neck to a vampire before. Yet, he remained calm. He even tilted his head to make it easier for him to drink his blood and pressed his head to stabilize it. For some reason, seeing him like this made his heart flutter.

“……?”

Si-wol raised an eyebrow at the unfamiliar sensation he felt in his chest. It was strange to have an inexplicable emotion swirling like ripples.

But as soon as he faced the blood gushing from the punctured vein, his doubts and rationality quickly faded away. Si-wol eagerly drank the blood, his lips trembling with excitement. The blood he could drink freely now was on a completely different level from the blood he had always been afraid to drink. Its taste was akin to a fantasy.

The food Ian had prepared earlier was delicious, but the blood flowing through his body was so intoxicating that it felt almost disrespectful to compare the two. It was sweet to the point that the tip of his tongue tingled, and it was so alluring that it sent shivers down his spine.

Gradually, his vision became blurred with a deep red hue. It was undoubtedly a prelude to the change in eye color that occurs during bloodsucking.

Mmm

,

ahh

….”

Si-wol let out a moan, unable to stop the soft sound from escaping. It was inevitable. Ian’s blood, smoothly flowing through his throat, awakened his entire body as it pulsated and spread. The once sluggish and constricted blood vessels regained their strength and became taut. The vampire’s blood, which had been slowly circulating in his body, now fiercely devoured Ian’s blood, turning it crimson.

‘More, I want more. More….’
