I stood there, my nerves on edge, unsure of what they were thinking. Time seemed to stretch as I waited for their response. Finally, Olivia spoke.

"So, you're saying this world is a novel… or specifically, a fan-fiction world, and you're the villain in it?"

I nodded, slowly, two or three times to make sure my answer was clear.

Quin Yan then asked, "So, what are we—villainesses or heroines? And what do you want from us?"
