Chapter 40: Welcoming General Tanya Rai of the Black Function

As I arrived at the port of Dragon City, I saw ten massive ships dock, with a force of 100,000 soldiers disembarking and organizing themselves into ranks. Fifty thousand troops lined up on each side of the main gate, creating an impressive formation.

Leading the group was a woman in her mid-twenties, followed by five men who appeared to be senior officers. As the entire force saluted, the woman took out her phone and made a call. My phone began to ring, and I answered with a smile.

"Hello, Tanya. I'm already here, in a red suit—just look around, you'll spot me."

Tanya Rai, the woman I was speaking to, spotted me and waved before replying over the phone, "Yes, Commander, I see you. Please come over and let us know where to dock the ships."

"I'm on my way," I replied, walking toward her.

Standing in front of her, I studied Tanya more closely. She was younger than I expected for a vice commander but radiated strength and confidence.

"Well, you're young," I commented. "I didn't expect the vice commander of Black Function to be so capable at your age, Miss Tanya Rai."

She smiled and saluted. "Thank you, Commander. It's an honor to serve. Allow me to introduce my generals."

Tanya gestured to the five men standing behind her. "This is the Mechanical General, Mr. Li; the Weapons General, Mr. Chen; the Food General, Mr. Zi; the Training General, Mr. Lu; and the Discipline General, Mr. Su."

"Good to meet you all," I said, nodding as they each saluted.

The five generals responded, "Yes, sir. We're pleased to meet our new commander."

Tanya then asked, "Sir, what shall we do with the ships? They're equipped with advanced technology, surpassing anything found in other militaries."

Examining the ships, I replied, "They're impressive, but with the right materials, they could be even more advanced. I'll be working on gathering those resources, though it might take some time."

The five generals looked at each other, clearly surprised by my words. They seemed to be reassessing my capabilities.

"Don't worry about docking the ships," I added, raising my hand. With a simple wave, all ten ships vanished, stored safely away.

Everyone around us looked stunned by the sight, speechless at the ease with which I'd handled the task.

Turning back to Tanya, I said, "I've set up a headquarters for you all here in Dragon City. Only my most trusted people are allowed in certain areas, and I trust you're ready for that responsibility."

Tanya nodded. "Yes, Commander. I've already divided our personnel so that half will remain here, while the other half, the most trustworthy among us, will follow you."

I took out my phone and called Aunt Ningsu. "Hello, Aunt Ning. It's Raghav."

She answered warmly, "Young Master Ye King, I can hear you."

"I have some people here who want to join us," I told her. "They're experienced in weaponry, seafood preparation, mechanical engineering, discipline enforcement, and security. They're looking to gain experience in the city's environment."

Aunt Ningsu replied, "Don't worry, Young Master. Just tell me how many, and I'll arrange everything, including interviews if needed."

Covering the phone, I turned to Tanya. "How many personnel are you planning to assign to each section?"

Tanya responded, "Commander, we have 10,000 in each section, so around 40,000 to 50,000 in total."

I relayed the information to Aunt Ningsu. "About 40,000 to 50,000 people, Aunt Ning. They're ready to work and understand the surroundings. Could you send ten buses to the city port?"

Aunt Ningsu confirmed, "Understood, Young Master Ye King. I'll arrange everything."

Hanging up, I turned back to Tanya and her team. "The buses will be here shortly. In the meantime, I'll give you all a quick tour and an introduction to your new headquarters."

Tanya and her generals nodded with anticipation, ready to begin their journey as part of my team.
