chapter 19
Chapter 19- Lempria (2)
“I hate philosophy.”
Lempria lay on the floor and rolled over.
“Isn’t it the study of things that benefit us? Learn with patience.”
“You can say that because you don’t study philosophy!”
Lempria threw her stone at her brother, who was sitting on her floor and looking at herself.
She was still young, but as a child of Eria and Feint, she was under the protection of Lemfra, so the stone she threw flew to her younger brother Imp very quickly.
-Tak!
The imp caught the stone that flew at a fairly high speed.
Born between Atimos and Feint, the imp wasn’t under the protection of Lemfra like her older sister, but since her parents were her parents, she could see and catch flying stones with her own eyes.
“Sure.”
The imp dropped the stone to the ground and shook her wrist.
‘One strength is ignorantly strong.’
“Nuna is the leader who will lead all the followers following Lemfra in the future. You can’t just focus on things like war.”
“Don’t preach!”
After Lempria shouted loudly at the imp, she came out.
‘The leader of that bastard.’
Lempria was a child born with an oracle.
A leader who will receive Lemfra’s blessing and lead us from now on.
An enormous weight was still on the young girl’s shoulders.
It is said to be a heavy expectation, but in fact, to Lempria, the weight of the leader who leads all the followers was not felt.
She is said to be Lemfra’s disciple, but she has never spoken directly with Lemfra-sama.
The reason she suffered was because of the many things she had to learn just because she was her candidate for leadership.
‘Even if you’re a leader, isn’t it enough to just fight well? Why should I learn philosophy or something?’
The study Lemfra gave to Feint in the name of philosophy was to explore everything in the world.
Why does the sun move?
It was a study that talked about unknown things about why the four seasons exist and also explored practical things like levers.
It is understandable that philosophy helps the development of the village.
Thanks to the philosophy, numerous tools were created in the village and the villagers were able to live better.
Lempria didn’t like her that she had to do it herself.
“Lempria, what are you doing here?”
“I’m going for a walk at night.”
“Should I walk with my father?”
Lempria looked up at the paint.
Why is my father here?
Could it be that he knew I was coming out now?
“Good.”
Lempria stuck to the side of the paint.
She also liked her own father, just like any other boy his age.
“Don’t you want to learn philosophy?”
“Yes.”
Lempria answered without the slightest hesitation.
“I understand the value of the philosophy you speak of. But,”
“You don’t know why you need to know?”
Lempria nodded her head vigorously.
“You are the apostle who will lead Lemfra’s followers in the future. It is as important to govern the villagers well as to obey Lemfra’s orders.”
“I don’t know yet. There are many philosophers and aunties in our village, right? Shouldn’t we ask them?”
“There are things only a leader can do.”
Paint stroked Lempria’s hair.
“Since my daughter is a smart kid, she believes that one day she will see the need for philosophy. She suggests putting her philosophy classes on hold until then.”
“Really?”
Lempria’s face turned bright in an instant.
“Yes, Dad thought the same way, but you seem too young to learn philosophy.”
“Dad is the best!”
Lempria ran around her excitedly, then she jumped around Feint and clung to his neck.
“Promise me one thing. When you realize the need for philosophy later, learn it really hard.”
“Okay!”
After Lem Pria kissed Feint’s cheek, she came down to the ground.
The faces of the two women were full of smiles.
“Then shall we go back now?”
“I go to the river and go. I want to see the wheat growing.”
Lempria grabbed Feint’s hand and dragged it.
A huge river flowed south of Lemfra Village.
The depth was just over two meters, but the width was very, very wide.
According to the words of the goddess Katria, the goddess of wisdom, crops grow better near the river, so believers called this river the blessing of Katria.
“Do you know when Lempria wheat is harvested?”
“Aren’t you just harvesting the wheat when it looks like it’s fully grown?”
Feint sat on her floor and placed Lempria on her lap.
“Look at the night sky.”
When Lempria looked up at the night sky, it was packed with countless stars.
“Do you see a star shining bright over there?”
“Yes, I can see it.”
“There is a time during the year when that star becomes very bright. From then on, you can sleep for 5 more nights before harvesting.”
“How did you know that?”
“It’s a philosophy.”
Paint stroked Lempria’s hair.
“Then, isn’t that star Lemfra-nim trying to tell us something?”
“It could be.”
“If you connect over there, there, and over there, it doesn’t look like eyes for some reason? Maybe those stars could be Lemfra-sama’s eyes!”
Feint looked up at the sky as Lemfra pointed out and saw a snow-like shape, just as she said.
“That’s an interesting idea. Maybe what you’re saying is true.”
The gods were looking at her father and daughter, who were talking to her while looking at the night sky.
“Isn’t it exciting? In the distant future, that star won’t be called the constellation Lemfra’s Eye. For some reason, seeing the scene where myths and legends are written down, my heart is touched. “
“It’s an emotional idea.”
It is a situation where we are not sure whether we will be able to become the victors of history.
“Then let’s go in and sleep.”
“Let’s sleep together today after a long time.”
Lempria came tightly into Feint’s arms.
“It’s been a while. It’s just that I didn’t sleep all day yesterday.”
“It’s been a while since I haven’t slept in a day.”
Feint went back to her own house with her Lempria in her arms.
At the time Lempria was born, it was a house built roughly with a few wooden boards and animal skins, but over the past time, as the village has developed a lot, it has been possible to build a house made of logs.
“Why did you come in now?”
“I had a little talk with Lempria.”
When I entered the house, Aria, the Imp, and Atimos were already getting ready to go to bed.
“Then good night everyone.”
“Sleep well.”
The family of five closed their eyes and fell asleep.
***
“Sister! Over there!”
– Wedge juice!
The spear in Lempria’s hand flew quickly and pierced the boar’s neck.
The power contained in the spear was so great that the tip of the spear pierced the boar’s neck and ricocheted out from the other side.
“Real power is ignorant.”
“I’m strong, did you give me anything?”
When the two siblings were fighting, a girl quickly approached the wild boar.
After removing her spear and laying her boar down to draw the least amount of blood, she immediately carried her boar on her shoulder and approached Lempria.
“I said you don’t have to do that.”
“I am a believer in the slave god Alfre. For the promotion of our god Alfre, we must obey Lempria.”
“So don’t do it!”
Lempria screamed mischievously and snatched her wild boar from her girl, and she heard herself.
“Let’s go grill it. Will Alfrea eat it too?”
“If Lempria-sama wants it, of course we should do it together.”
Saliva was swallowed from Alfrea’s throat as she said that.
She was Alprea who was loyal to Lempria on the outside and inside, but she couldn’t stand the temptation of wild boar meat.
She was 15 years old, just like Lempria.
“Okay. Then let the imp bake it.”
“Why do I have to bake?”
“Imp, you grill a piece of meat. Isn’t it a matter of course that a good person grills meat?”
“Why don’t you just say that your sister doesn’t bother baking?”
“Yes, I don’t bother baking. You bake.”
The imp sighed deeply and followed her back to her village.
When they entered the village, philosophers and feints were talking as usual in the village square, but unlike usual, their expressions looked very serious, as if something had happened.
“Alfrea, can you take care of the boar for a second?”
“Okay.”
After handing over the wild boar to Alprea, Lempria approached the place where the philosophers were.
“Dad, is something serious going on?”
“The sky is unusual.”
“Sky?”
Lempria raised her head to the sky.
It was dark as if it would rain at any moment, but I had seen a sky like that many times before.
‘If Dad feels serious, it must mean he’s different than usual.’
“How is it different from usual?”
“The wind is blowing strong and the sky is not feeling well. And I keep getting an ominous feeling.”
Feint said with a serious expression, but Lempria didn’t think much of it.
Who are they?
Aren’t they Lemfra’s followers?
“Ifritia-sama was angry!”
It was not even three minutes after she felt relieved that her father’s wife, Athimos, suddenly ran out of her house and said,
